Parts/Specs are listed in the description.
Late to the party, but how'd you like the Prisma seats now that its been a year since your last review?
@@davechakh3700 they were great seats. The guy that has the truck now says they are holding up just fine and are still comfy. The fit and feel is the same as NRG's 300 series seats. It's just different material, embroidery, and shell color. Same seat.
Homie, where’s you get all these parts?
I can’t find parts / specs
Man, its crazy to see people living out your dreams. This is basically part-for-part what ive been planning on doing once i save up for a hardbody.
Hey I'm from San Antonio
DUDE! You absolutely need to put out more D21 content!!!!!!!
I am actually buying another bone stock D21 single cab here pretty soon so I can make tutorial videos from the ground up.
@@Inner_Sanctum Bless you! Really love the videos!
You’re a master in interior work!!!😭
just checked this out after getting my own, i love what you did with yours will definitely be taking some(ALOT) of inspiration
Sweet ass truck bro! I have a 97 as well that I’m working on. I love to see more of this truck’s status on future videos.
Thanks! I will try to get some more videos out.
thats an awesome truck! i have a 93 hardbody and I love it
Bro we need mor hb vids all I do it watch your videos over and over lol nobody makes hardbody videos like Yoo idk how to explain but that’s the only reason I’m waiting and watching your hb videos bc you try and explain everything and show everything wish this video was an hr long 😂😂
Bro, i need you to do that to the interior of my hardbody. Clean as Hell
Your interior is immaculate. I love it!!!! Your 180sx is also coming along quite well. So jealous haha, cheers.
SpaceFace102 thank you! I appreciate that.
Nice. Very nice. My D21 is clapped, but still fun. Just got some free infinity 17x9 aluminums, so that'll be fun. There may be a sawzall and a die grinder in my near future. And new rubber!
This is awesome! Cant wait to get my own!
Wow very nice truck! I’m going to follow a lot of the things you did so I’ll keep on checking out your videos I have a 93 D21 with a KA24DE everything stock just swapped to truck. I’m going to start doing mods very soon! So far I’m diggin the look of your truck although mine is matte black outside with blue og 93 interior!
I will also be doing the dash swap and repaint black like yours looks amazing good job bro
That’s great to hear! I will be picking up another truck here pretty soon and will be building from the ground up.
Inner Sanctum wow hella great news! I plan on build this for a daily but some power! I love them prisma buckets seats just waiting on a sell for thoughs! Can’t wait to see the upgrades thanks bro so far your truck looks great!
Bro ur garage is goalsss
Nissan 👍👍
U didn't put what headlights.., and don't u dare give up on that idea of making it look like it was turbocharged from factory! I would LOVE to see that man! :)
You got yourself a new subscriber man
Awesome! Glad to have you.
This is awesome. You should've made a video on the whole interior and exterior
More hardbody content pls!
I will try to get some more content out shortly.
Cool lil build
Sweet truck and channel man, just subbed.
Thank you!
How did you do that to your headliner? Looks like suede
Damian Palacio It’s Alcantara suede fabric. I pulled the headliner panel out and removed the old headliner fabric. I got it down to the bare “board” material. Then I sprayed 3M Hi-Strength 90 on the headliner board and then onto the 1/8” foam backed Alcantara fabric. I let both sides tack up for a few minutes then bonded them together. I let it sit flat on my garage floor for 2 days then installed. I also did the a-pillar trim to match.
Inner Sanctum awesome man! Thanks
How much did this cost? Me and my dad are building one and I wanna do something similar to yours.
That's crazy I have the same exact rims and tires
🔥 interior
Could you make a parts list of what went into the truck?
KO Kick BUTT 26 it’s in the description
Love love love this thing. Can I get a link to those flares? They look perfect 👌🏻

How did you install the Universal Fenders? It looked so good. Did you cut the fenders out to have that curvy look?
How did you lower it? Like did you do a coilover swap or lowering blocks and all that? Im new to these hardbodies so im just curious and wanting to get one of my own
You still got those chrome bumpers and grill?
Question. You seem to have had different garage spaces in your videos. Best advice for a guy with a D21 and a Fozzy who lives in an apartment in the Phoenix area but needs a garage to work on them please? Thanks
Yeah, I moved around a lot in the past few years. I was lucky enough to find apartments that had 2.5 car garages. Now I bought a house and it’s a non-issue.
You’re fortunate to live in AZ. What I remember, from when I lived out that way, there is a lot of land to be had for a very good price on the outskirts of town. I would personally buy a small parcel of unrestricted land and build a small metal building. That’s what I am currently doing, but it is VERY expensive where I live by comparison($160k per acre).
Thanks. It seemed like you were in a reg storage unit at the end of this one. Appreciate the reply and excellent content.
What brand is your steering wheel?
Was it tuned at that time ?
I have. 1990 Nissan d21 hard body 2wd... I was wondering what u spent on yours to get it into "drifting" condition
Originally it was ~ $4000 [including truck price] to get it to drift properly. I think I spent ~$1200 on parts at the beginning. Then all the interior stuff was just extra $$$.
You don't need much to drift these trucks. I suggest new poly bushings all the way around, weld your diff, lower the truck properly, and you're pretty good to go. Never hurts to add a nice radiator and refresh all the fluids.
i have a 93 and it doesn’t have power steering does anybody know how to put some in there?
Can you please link steering wheel and hub
Sure thing!

link to suspension items and fender flares please? i just got my hardbody and im looking to do this after i fix my minor problems
Where did you get the roof compressed wood for the headliner
Now how did you turbo charge it ? Can u do it with stock engine ?
I'd like to ask you please, I need low rev torque. I'm converting my London taxi from Nissan Diesel TD27 (with the FS5W71C gearbox)
Should I go SR20DE, or KA24E (not DE)
I'm looking for either no or minor modifications needed.
I won't be using that car for the track or anything, just to transport newlyweds, but I do need torque for those uphills with the AC on, and passengers.
Thank you very very much for your input, I am a fan of your content, and the quality of your videos!
(HECK, I'D EVEN FLY YOU TO EUROPE, OR BRING THE CAR TO YOU IF YOU'D AGREE TO TAKE UPON MY PROJECT!)
What’s the wheel and tire size? I love the meaty tire look & the wheels are a perfect match!
Check out the description, it has all the parts I used on this truck. The wheels and tires are listed at the bottom.
What size or where did you get the fender flares ? Thanks
Guaranteed the guy that inherented my D21 ruined it. All that work into the chassis too.
Bummer. Hate it when that happens.. The guy that bought this green truck from me kept it pretty much the same. The dude that bought it after changed everything. Lmao Oh well.
What kinda tires you running?
where did u get your radiator im looking one for myself????????
I know this is an old video but how did you do the a and b pilar in alcantara? I've been enjoying your videos on the D21. I have one that I've been working on and one day would like to do something similar.
I scrubbed the A & B pillar plastics with SEM soap to remove surface contamination, then rinsed them off.
After that I scoured them really well with course 3M scouring pads, cleaned them off really well in warm soapy water, and let them dry.
I used 1/8” foam backed Alcantara suede for the project and bought some 3M Super 90 spray adhesive.
This part is pretty important: I cut the material out to cover the parts adequately. Then I sprayed the Super 90 onto the plastic parts and the back of the Alcantara and waited for it to flash dry.
Once the adhesive was no longer wet, tacky to the touch, I stuck the pieces together. Waited for that to setup, then came back and did the same for the parts needing to be folded over the panels.
Done!
@@Inner_Sanctum you’re awesome! Thanks. I really wanted to do sr swap until I watched your video and it made a lot of since.
I wouldn’t say I’m an expert on ls motors but I am way more familiar with them being I have one in my other truck that I am currently working on. I may go that route with an NV3500 trans. Any advice?
@@tsstarlin the only advice I have is to keep your truck running for as long as possible. Try to buy everything you need for the swap before tearing it all apart, that way you can move methodically through the installation versus having to put it on hold and getting bored. Also, don’t be afraid to get a smaller displacement “LS”. I feel like a nicely fitted 5.3 would be phenomenal in a truck this light.
@@Inner_Sanctum I’m doing a mild build in my Silverado and I think I probably do the same for my D21. Any recommendations on where to find parts for the swap? Also do you have an instagram?
@@tsstarlin I usually just patiently wait for something good to pop up on FB Marketplace or in my local junkyards. As for swap parts, you’re going to be doing a lot of custom work to get the LS in the truck running.
Yep, my IG is: nr_sanctum
Any footage of Gus drifting?
Tyler Stepanski Soon hopefully!
Go to any lonestar Drift events?
Tyler Stepanski in my other cars a long time ago. Nothing lately, and none in Gus.
I just started my RUclips channel wanted to do a budget drift build too and I'm thinking about a pickup truck too are a e36
Pickups are a lot of fun, but make sure your local events allow them. Find out their rules first. Little trucks are abundant, cheap, and easy to maintain.
Ok will do that
Where do you get the fender flares
I can try to find them. They are just super cheap universals from eBay.
Do u still have this truck?? And if so,are u still gonna turbo the ka as if it came from factory? I was really excited to see that...
KA.Powered I sold this truck awhile back. However, at the time of selling I didn’t know there would be a huge interest in D21 content on my channel. The videos I made had less than 50 views each and sort of went dead for a while. I was wrong. They randomly took off months later. Most of my followers are actually Nissan Hardbody fans. So, I bought another hardbody and am going to work on that. I have a KA24E that I’m going to pull out and give some love. My SR from my destroyed 180sx is going into the truck, but I AM going to build that KA and toss it into another one. I LOVE the KA engine.
@@Inner_Sanctum alright man,that will do!
Nice man, I'm from SA myself, hope to see ole Gus someday. You drift at Alamo Raceway events?
Yeah, I go out to the Club Loose events every so often. If you see me, just come on over.
What are those rims offset?
Why the new fenders?
The old ones were heavily dented.
Where is that garage space you got? Looks dope
Little storage unit place on the Northwest side of San Antonio. It’s between Culebra and Shaenfield Rd. off 1604.
What tire size/wheels did you go with? Clean set up you got there btw!
C Kastro thanks! If you hit the little pop down arrow on the description, it lists all the parts and specs.
What flares are those? Did you have to cut much metal out? And what components went into 8 inches of drop?
They are just some universal ones I found online. I’ll try to link them in a bit.
I had to cut a fair amount of metal and weld the seams in the rear.
All of the parts for the truck are listed in the description. It’s basically a normal 2” F 3” R drop from BellTech then I redrilled the leaf hangar and removed one leaf. Cranked down the torsions and reindexed them.
@@Inner_Sanctum did you find a link to the flares? I've searched a bunch of sites but can't find those
The link for them is dead. They are called Ikon V3 Universal 50mm Fender Flares, but they all come in different sizes. Do you have an IG? If so, you can message me on there so I can send you the screenshots of what I bought.
@@Inner_Sanctum are you inner santum news and review?
Could you also IG me a link for the flares, my Instagram is keith_93
Thanks
Where did you buy your depo tail lights
eBay for dirt cheap new.
Inner Sanctum do you happen to have a link cause I bought some and there not the right fit
That interior is sweet but why on a drift vehicle thats just gonna get destroyed if you really drift it anyways
Luckily interiors can be swapped out to a new chassis if it gets destroyed. Just because you race it, doesn’t mean it can’t be nice.
Wait you had drums here or disc breaks
Drums on this truck.
U can run the hydro break with drums ?
Did you use stock fenders or 4x4 fenders
Patrick Benner 2WD fenders worked better with the flares so I just ordered 2WD fenders.
Badass
make more videos of this!!!
Carson Cunningham Will do. Picking up a new truck soon and starting from the ground up. This time I will document everything and actually get race footage to share.
Brand steering wheel
seriously revise magic???? dude that's brand new looking in the Midwest.
Im building a 2000 Frontier Drift Truck right now. Whats you IG? I have some questions for you! Im out here in Phoenix.
IG: nr_sanctum
😍
In also looking into getting a hardbody im 16
Make it happen! They are super fun/reliable trucks that won't break the bank. You'll have a good time working on it.
@@Inner_Sanctum thanks
I'm in sa n need a d21 friend lol #bennysillerFb
cool but I felt ripped off watching this.. I hope you understand the click bait
ryan h sorry you feel that way, but that’s why I started a whole new series with a whole new truck. Starting from the ground up. Also, I don’t really see the “clickbait” part. The title says “Nissan Drift Truck 6 Week Build” and that’s exactly what’s outlined in the video.
ryan h Also went ahead and changed the title to include “walkaround” to prevent any future confusing. Cheers man!
