Check my previous videos, I bought that 4 piston caliper from fast brakes that uses the stock rotor but I later found out buying the 2 piece rotors at a later time is much more expensive I decided to sell it and buy this new one
You can see at 13:06 that the brake pads are way too large. Too bad you didnt realize this during the install. get a tripod for your vids to use both hands to ensure all is proper!
I actually did notice it on the "Update" video and pointed it out, while they do hang a little past the rotor they actually perform nicely at the 2 track events I've taken the car to. I will look into this more and see if the Scion tc knuckle is different from the Corolla one causing this issue.
@@2zzlow yes i already saw the update video details. The Corolla and Scion TC use the same wheel bearing and front rotor (just checked thru rockauto parts cross referencing) this is an issue on 94-99 Celica mcherson vs 94-99 Celica Superstrut front brakes. Im currently talking with Ceika to resolve this issue with a shorter bracket
@@2zzlow any recommendations for brake rotors and pads, nothing to this extent of swapping brake kits just some better stopping power for some spirited driving but daily friendly?
Little late to the video but great stuff man! Everyone calls me crazy for wanting to trick out my Corolla but I say to hell with it why not I love this car. I've been looking for am upgrade kit for my front breaks. Do you know if this will fit a 10th gen 2013 Corolla LE? Those come stock with a 18x7 or 18x8 wheel(can't quite remember)
@@2zzlow thanks. I’ll just throw this out , might be a stupid question. You think the Scion Tc IRS would bolt into the Corolla? I wanted to to try this but I don’t have the means of doing it.
In England, we just use the 295mm discs and calipers from the Toyota avensis, discs have to be drilled 4 x 100 pcd but the rest is plug and play.
YEP i heard about that upgrade.
Also Fits 04-08 Prius even thou it is not listed
There's a 4 piston willwood kit for the matrix/corolla on fastbrakes that'll work with stock rotors.
Buuuuut 6 pistons are baller lol

@@2zzlow oh I see 👀 did you happen to do a weight comparison?
No but for sure the faster brakes one was much smaller but both are 4 piston
@@2zzlow I think there's a 6 piston kit on fast brakes for the corolla too but its in the scion section
Been waiting for this upload!
Well here it is lol
Thanks for the upload man. Appreciate it.

Coincidentally I was looking at willwoods for my celica, excellent!
Great upgrade and will work on both 6th and 7th gen Celica
Can the CelicaGTS rear brakes be upgraded to a rear brake disc system?
not sure what you're asking, gts should already have rear discs.
I didn't know oops thanks for sharing thought they were drum brakes but thanks
@@jayns1 on the GT/base model celica they are drums, not on the GTS.
Celica GT can be upgraded to GT-S disc brakes
I will later release an upgraded caliper for the rear disc
So much educational, so much wow.
Lmao gracias pato
drip drip drip drip drip drip drip bruh you're STAINING the asphalt! I'm callin' the EPA asap lmfao
ohh snap lmao!!
Thanks, your videos are so awesome, clear and informative. Can you tell me where you purchased this kit?
ebay
What about the rear brakes? Any willwood upgrade for the rears ?
I haven’t found any by Wilwood but I may have found an oem solution for 2 piston rear caliper. Stay tunned

Look into the Ceika Big Brake Kit company, they do custom ones for almost any vehicle. I was able to buy some for my 95 Celica GT
@@2zzlow thanks man! I appreciate the help!
Great video, and looks amazing, that kit will fit on a 2015 Corolla??
Info on those shocks springs???
Tokico HTS with H&R sport springs
What about a brake booster uograde?
kept everything the same, brake are fine and don't lock up.
Can it be retrofitted to The 8th gen corolla?
maybe? not sure
Dope.
Indeed!
Will it clear the Matrix XRS wheels?
Most likely the 17x7 one but not the 16x6.5 wheel
