But companies always have a "free swag" budget, because it's ADVERTISING to give you shit with the company's name on it. (Which, you know, makes it not "free", exactly; you're not paying for it, except with your attention, which itself is valuable in advertising; plus if you ever use it where other people can see it, it's also creating value by getting the company's name in those people's heads. One thing I LOVED about the magic covens was the foreboding political ramifications. Think about it - a single centralized power demands all citizens be bound to a specific type of magic unless you work for th single centralized power. And anyone who dissents is outlawed. Feeling uneasy yet? Haha
Most of the fight scenes are very fluid, this show is gorgeously animated. Also, I had to laugh at him saying hooty is a deity considering what we saw of him in the finale.
The line from King about Hooty's "horrific" voice is a meta joke; Hooty and King are both voiced by Alex Hirsch. The voice he does for Hooty was originally him messing around and then Dana Terrace (then his girlfriend) said (essentially) "That's great! Do that for the whole show." ...Which apparently he was not expecting.
Episode 4 is what sold me on the show. The allegory to mental health and/or chronic illness... Also, I desperately wished for real magic as a kid, so Luz discovering magic punches my wish fulfillment buttons hard. Also also, Luz means 'light' in Spanish so it's kind of fun that she discovers how to make light. (I doubt I'm the first to mention this, but hey)

Most of the fight scenes are very fluid, this show is gorgeously animated. Also, I had to laugh at him saying hooty is a deity considering what we saw of him in the finale.
The line from King about Hooty's "horrific" voice is a meta joke; Hooty and King are both voiced by Alex Hirsch. The voice he does for Hooty was originally him messing around and then Dana Terrace (then his girlfriend) said (essentially) "That's great! Do that for the whole show." ...Which apparently he was not expecting.
