This is it!!! Thank you all for the incredible amount of support each of you have given this series! We have loved getting to watch it with you all, and can't WAIT to continue with our new series, GRAVITY FALLS! Comment below if you're hyped!!
I’m really gonna miss the show 😢 for someone who is bi such as myself this show as really impacted my life well I really am going to miss this show until next time toh Byeeeee
This finale was so magical (no pun intended) in spite of the hell this series went through production wise, they still managed to give us something great. Can't wait for you to start Gravity Falls too.
Looking forward to gravity falls! Hopefully amphibia will be next!
I'm really really gonna miss your reactions to this show!! You guys were awesome
And thank you for doing these videos! Glad you really like this series, I've never connected with a show as much as I have with the Owl House, and it's because of that and also just how consistently good it is all the way through that it's my personal favourite show of all time. As a girl who is both queer and neurodivergent I really appreciated having an awesome protagonist like Luz and being able to relate to her experiences so much. This final season and especially that finale were handled perfectly and it gives a satisfying conclusion for all these awesome characters we've some to know and love. Sad that it's coming to end but excited for this final Owl House video, really loved seeing your reactions to this amazing series.
Important point: The Kids actually _were_ exhausted, which is why they could not do magic. While Magic _originally_ comes from the Titans, Witches have evolved the magic Bilesack, meaning they can produce their own magic. The kids are just spent as heck.
Yep
Nearly three straight days awake because of Belos, and then being puppeted, which probably wasn't good for their physical or mental health. Yeah, them kids are tapped.
@@r.f.switch5847 Wait... That must mean Luz were in her nightmare for three days! Because there is no way it took Belos three days to get the castle. Also Luz should be VERY tired if she was awake for three days straight!
Reminds me of Kiki’s Delivery Service.
I suspect the bile sack didn't come from an evolutionary adaptation, but by symbiosis. I suspect a palisman saving someone's life makes it possible. That would make bile sacks symbiotes, descendents of early palismen, like how early cells adapted mitochondria.
Fun fact. Hunter's new Pallishman is named Waffles. She's considered to be Flapjack's little sister
And she is a very good girl, just like her brother and her sister (Clover)
Honestly, I actually thought Luz was going to get a blue jay, not a snake.
@@Samgreen90 can I ask why?
@@gregovaromoreno6318 I don't know. Something about "similar characteristic traits" she has or maybe might have something to do with old fan service.
@@Samgreen90 cool. I personally think the Snake suits her the best. But hey wouldn't mind if it had ended up becoming a bird (or a bat, like a bat that was adopted by an owl)
Given all that Disney put Dana and her crew through, it's amazing that this ending is as good as it is.
Not just "passable" or "okay". GOOD.
I think I missed most if not all of the specifics... can someone enlighten me on how Disney made things harder?
@@trillerkiller9839Not only may there have been some biases considering the LGBTQ themes, Disney was also trying to get rid of animated series with overarching stories(The Owl House, Amphibia) and started focusing on more slice-of-life and episodic shows (Ghost of Molly McGee kinda, Primos). So they wanted to cut The Owl House short since they couldn't see it becoming a popular show
@@trillerkiller9839The show was originally meant to have a full third season (and if I recall, possibly a fourth), but Disney cut it short and only gave them three episode "specials" to end the series. Which Dana and the team used incredibly well, of course, but it really limited their options.
@@preezyystar : Not trying to defend Disney but the reason that Hollywood, Disney and Western media in general isn't as inclusive and LGBTQ-friendly as it should be is because these shows are not exclusive to the Americas and Europe. They are also sold to be shown in China, Russia, Malaysia, Turkey and other countries where queerphobic laws force them to make a lot of censorship or simply refuse to collaborate. While I would encourage the latter, Disney and others really want the money because the market in China alone is massive and sales are usually much higher than in the United States. So in order to appeal to these horrible countries and make a bigger profit, they keep a low profile in terms of representation. I wish they would cease the relationship with these countries and stop licking their queerphobic feet but capitalism wins this battle unfortunately.
@@akumayoxiruma Yeah, of course!
When Camila talks about how Nocedas are stubborn... "Noceda" is literally a pun on the Spanish for "Don't give up".
... omg, how did I never notice that?! I'm latino!!
So then luz’s full name means “don’t give up light”. That’s freaking awesome!
As the crew dedicated the titles of the final episodes to us and said 'Thanks for watching' I feel like a huge thanks to the crew is in order, even months after the airing of the finale and saying thanks again and again. The fact that they were able to put together a show like this while staying firm under pressure from executives that wanted to stop its creative vision and choices is amazing. It's thanks to Dana and the crew that we were able to get this fantastic show and characters, and it's one of the shows that a lot of people will look back on in the future, and even more people will discover it. Thanks for the memories :)
Finished it all recently! Funny enough, I only heard about this show when I saw the new Superman show’s Lois Lane being compared positively to Luz haha! This show is incredibly special to me! Thank you Dana and crew indeed and all the love the entire fandom showed it!
And the left over words say “to them, the future and dreaming
Normally I don't really like when shows do time jumps at the end, but it really worked for this finale. They show the Isles finally recovering from Belos' tyranny, everyone is happy and doing what they're passionate about, King's magic is awakening and Luz will be able to discover new glyphs of King's. It feels like a fitting end to this amazing show.
why dont you usually like that? i feel like it generally provides a nice wrap-up to the story and shows how everything is getting along in the future without needing to follow it up with another season or a sequel series. it privides a nice sense of closure
@@Jzombi301
There's times where it feels weird (imo). Like, "act your age" for phineas and ferb just felt disconnected from the series rather than like a wrap up to me at least. For amphibia it was jarring because it felt light we were brought to a natural end and then there was just a skip forward. I get that a lot of that show was about moving on and growing up but going from "family always finds eachother" sad goodbye vibes to "it's a decade later, hi again people I saved a world with" idk also jarring for me in a way that owl house didn't. I think it's because owl house gives us a natural follow through of "this is how the world is doing after the big crisis. Ok, now skip forward."
I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but all the kids got Flapjack tattoos. You can see them all in the final sequence. Luz on her upper arm, Hunter on his wrist, Willow on her shoulder, Amity on her forearm, and Gus on his leg.
The final credits/timeskip sequence was perhaps the best send-off I've ever seen for ANY series, much less any animated series. So well done.
🎶Here we are in the fuuutuuurrrrre!🎵
The fact that the crew managed to deliver such a happy ending in spite of the dark circumstances is such a miracle. I was so touched by it that it almost makes up for the shortening
Yes it turned out great and that’s truly amazing not everyone can do that. The legend of korra was also canceled and renewed many times each season was a rush or possibly the end of the show but it’s seems like this tv networks like to do that to shows like this .
When Luz was tearing Belos out of the Titan, you can bet I cheered when she screamed, "NOW EAT THIS, SUCKKKA!" I was waiting for it!
Also, the way Eda cries out to her during their reunion really gets to me, as well as when Luz finds out the glyphs don't work anymore. 😭
It was wonderful. I just wish we could've had more.
But that's what the Moringmark comics are for! 😃
No one could convince me those comics aren’t canon.
Evelyn was revealed to be a Clawthorn
The name of Hunter new palisman is waffles, and I love that Luz and her friends got matching tattoos of Flapjack
Fun fact - King's Dad is played by Arin Hanson of the Game Grumps.
This show is genuinely such a refresher. So much great representation, and incredible characters, well written plot, etc. I wish I had something like this when I was like, 10, or something, because to think of how much nicer growing up would be with characters like this.
Not sure how old you are, but gravity falls was a thing
@@doomchromee8648 yeah i know gravity falls was a thing, i just specifically meant a show with just- idk a t h i n g like the owl house, though gf and toh are very similar
the fact that they had to shorten the 3rd season and its still a masterpiece is so insane
I feel like it is important to truly thank everyone involved in this show. To Dana and the others at the top making this show a thing, to the character designers giving us such iconic looks, to the storyboarders bringing the visuals to life, to the script writers for practically carrying the show, to the directors, to the animators, to the foley artists, to the lighting specialists, to the background artists, to the graphic designers, to the animatic directors and creators, to every other member of the crew that had any small or large involvement, and of course, to the voice actors for bringing the characters to life in a way no other could. Doing all of this from the pandemic to when Disney cancelled the show. To everyone, thank you.
The way this masterpiece ended and where it left it's characters is just perfect, I'm really going to miss this series, and this story driven era of Disney Channel, but I'm so glad that it happened, and that I got to experience it and see you experience it. I can't thank Dana Terrace and her entire team enough. And I'm glad Dana can move on from Disney and live her life now.
there are a few shows currently out that i am hopeful for Disney's storytelling animations. i guess we'll have to wait and see. also i cant wait to see what Dana does outside of Disney
@@Jzombi301 Can you name a few? just asking
@@jaketane1717 i havent seen everything but there’s The Ghost and Molly McGee which does have a story going on even though a lot of the episodes tend to be episodic. theres also Hailey's on it which has a promising story buildup even though its first season isnt even finised yet
@@Jzombi301 I see thanks
I feel like the reason Eda transformed into the owl beast is because she’s accepted the owl beast as a part of herself, and because of that it’s kind of in tune with her emotions, so because Eda was outraged at Belos for killing Luz so was the owl beast
Also cannot wait for them to hear bill cypher's voice and say "IS THAT KING" or something like that hahahaha
Dana and her team went through so much, but were still able to make this masterpiece. The fact that they were able to give the show more episodes than Gravity Falls under their conditions is a remarkable W in my book.
I love how when Belos says he was cursed he looks to the side like he's trying to convince himself. It's such a bad lie and he knows it.
I'm not ready to let go of The owl house again. It was an incredible journey by his side, seeing his analysis, theories and opinions. I cried at the end, the toh team did an amazing job despite the cut. I hope you enjoyed the series and its finale and always carry it in your heart.
Finally the sentence is complete with WATCHING and dreaming.
THANKS to them + FOR the future + WATCHING and dreaming = THANKS FOR WATCHING 🤧❤
Us weirdos have to stick together 💖
Luz had patches for her loved ones on her pants in the flash forward. A potion flask for Eda. A music note for Raine. An animal/beast patch that works for her mom, since she's a vet, for Vee as her adopted sister, and for King. And an abominaton patch for Amity. Her shoes were for Azura, with the colors & stars on them. A snake for Stringbean in her shirt too. Her eye make up was made to look a bit like her Titan witch form. Her writing scholarship was signed by Dana Terrace.
The student being welcomed at Hexside was made to look like Dana. And the student with Barkus was made to look like Rebecca Rose, who was an Owl House reactor until she got a job as a production assistant on The Owl House.
For other series - Amphibia, since it is a sister show to The Owl House. The show's creator, Matt Braly worked on Gravity Falls with Alex and Dana and is good friends with both of them.
And something to look for on here, Tomotasauce's parody music video "We Don't Talk About Belos."
Damn, the end already. Felt like we just started this show a week ago! Months ago the show ended but because of watching your reactions it felt like it wasn't over just yet, but now it feels like it is truly over. It’s been one experience of a show and I can’t wait to continue watching away, new show after new show. This is probably one of my favorite shows you have watched and your reactions are always some of the best!
Very depressing its over 🥹
Fun fact, I literally just met Dana Terrace a week and a half ago, she was super SUPER cool. Also really chill, one of those moments where I met a hero and they turned out awesome. Glad you guys enjoyed the series, it's one of my favorites and is near and dear to my heart.
I'm still really impressed by how well Arin Hanson did at voicing Papa Titan, considering how terrible his acting is in every single Game Grumps advertising bit. XD
Part of me wonders if he does that on purpose, considering he was very serious when voicing Papa Titan
@@abluerainbow He does the ads intentionally bad.
Obviously it was his uncle Dr. Cecil H.H Mills that voice acted, since hes writing young adult novels it was the natural second step to voice kid show characters
One of the few shows imo that’s ending was PERFECT everything wrapped up
Many TV shows are given all the luxuries and still can’t stick their ending. So the fact that this show was able to stick the landing despite the curveballs thrown by Disney is quite an achievement.
@@ArturoGonzalez-di6rdI know. I was kind of scared that I would come away from season 3 unsatisfied. And I still don’t think season 3 is perfect, but it blew me away with how it still managed to give a satisfying ending to the series.
"this is the one time Collector is supposed to use their powers"
'cept he can't cause Belos is using a titan body.
Perfect finale. I always tear up at the big BYEEE at the end. I would love a sequel series in Wild Magic College.
Reactor #1: "Seems like just a few months ago, they were all dressed up for the Grom episode."
Reactor #2: "That WAS a few months ago.
Seriously, it's crazy how you guys have ALREADY finished this show.
This show is Nuclear!
Very impactful
if you take the first word of each of the season three episodes it says "Thanks for watching"
wow , nice detail, thanks for sharing it
All the characters saying bye at the end was just so poetic as an ending. Not only because it was a common line used by several characters throughout the series but it was like they were all saying bye to the audience as well as a character in universe. I applaud Dana and her team for what they were able to give us with this show!
Not only that. It was the way Hunter said byeeee, the few times he did when escaping
Started the show last week and finished it in 4 days. Has to be top 3 favorite series of all time for me.
Enjoyed watching your reactions after finishing.
Very sad the show has ended
Dana said the inspiration for the final line came from RUclips videos every character's first and last scene in a television. Unlike most programs, everyone in The Owl House has the last scene.
While the show has cancelled/prematurely concluded, Dana says that she'd be able to incorporate most her unused ideas (spotlighting all the Coven Heads, exploring the Bat Queen and Hooty's past, and the original endgame planned for the series) into a Eda & Raine prequel/spin-off.
It was for 4 seasons, they canceled it but preferred to give it a big cut, some ideas were changed and the ending, and even so it turned out very well 👏👏 for Dana and her team 👏👏
This whole show was fantastic. And the ending was as close to perfect as possible, especially given the short season three and time constraints.
It also left just enough open ended that it could theoretically get a sequel series should Disney executives get their heads out of their rears and greenlight future content.
After all, we still have future glyphs to explore, the residual effects of Belos, the mystery of the bat queen, Hunter's possible familial connection to Eda's family (Through Caleb and the witch Evelyn.), not to mention the Archivists. All that at more could make an amazing sequel series. Especially if it's allowed to go for a PG/TV-14 rating on Disney+, and explore more adult themes.
I've lost track of how many times I've cried watching this episode
ALL OF THE OWL HOUSE and ep 1, 2, 3, & 4 of Gravity Falls are all posted to Patreon now in their extended full length forms!

Dana confirmed on ig that the house in the woods near Luz's house belonged to Philip and Caleb and that Evelyn, Caleb's girlfriend, was a Clawthorne so she would be Eda's ancestor. Hunter and Eda are technically related, but don't know it.
And in his last living moments, Belos did what he does best, and he tried to lie and save his skin.
Thanks For Watching
I genuinely loved the collector. I love raw hurt characters like that. Reminds me of Catra in a way. He’s alone, feels abandoned, has so much trauma, and no one ever tried to genuinely be there for him before because they would lie/manipulate him or fear him. So he hurts others without realizing he is hurting them.
And so we come to the end of Luz's hero journey with her friends and family in the Boiling Isles. She's tackled what seemed like typical fantasy situations head-on and discovered her expectations weren't in line with reality, experienced the love and support of others who understand what it feels like being an outsider and helped her grow, and had her entire self-image nearly broken to the core by the knowledge of what she helped set in motion. All of this as part of her own efforts to become the best witch she could be, like her fantasy idol Azura.
This last point, I feel, is extremely important to her entire character arc. For Luz, Azura represented the ideal version of herself she wanted to be, but never could achieve. Azura was powerful, courageous, and always dedicating her abilities to expressing her love for her interests and betterment of those she cares for. And, through trials and tribulations, she would come out stronger and with the support of friends and loved ones that had gathered around her.
Yet for Luz, her attempts to emulate this heroic image have yielded ever-greater internal torments and self-destructive depression, even before she entered the Demon Realm. Her encounters with Belos and the manner in which he manipulated her into helping him further his own genocidal goals shakes her belief that she could ever be worthy of others love, much less a hero like Azura. This harmful mentality even lingers in her mind up to the point where she meets with the soul of the Titan.
And it was the Titan who provided the last piece of advice to help her realize the truth about herself. While Belos had stolen, manipulated, and murdered to maintain his own delusions of being a hero, Luz had given everything she had to learn for herself and help others that, under the repressive regime of the Coven System, were wrongfully deemed dangerous outcasts. Luz didn't need to be a shining, infallible paragon to accomplish this. She just needed to be herself, in all her weird glory.
So, when she inherits the Titan's remaining power, she is finally able to undergo her own apotheosis physically and emotionally. And her godly form isn't that of Azura and her pristine appearance and aura. Her appearance is darker, demonic, something that Belos would have seen as evil incarnate, but at the same time more luminous and uplifting than it would be otherwise. It is a culmination of her best traits that marked her as an outcast and the knowledge gained from her mentors in the Boiling Isles. In her Titan form, Luz achieved feats for herself and others far beyond anything Azura likely did in her own story.
And that's what truly makes Luz Noceda not just a good witch, but an extraordinary one.
i can't believe we're at the end of this incredible show already! it took so many expectations and tropes and just flipped them on the head so many times. despite the trouble it also went through it kept the pace going no matter what and was beautiful story from start to finish!
even the ending of keeping the portal open was a nice change to the normal trope of keeping the worlds separate forever. because let us be realisitic, luz is a witch no matter what and she deserved to keep learning!!
Of the three specials, this is the one that I feel was the least affected by the crunched production cycle. Bad stuff out of the way first, Odalia deserved her comeuppance, and I feel that Amity should have seen Luz as the Titan Witch.
Now on to the good/great stuff. The Collector has such incredible development in this finale. Seeing Raine overpower Belos was such an eye opener to how close Belos actually was to dying before reaching the Titan's heart. Belos "killing" Luz and the aftermath of the pain of King and Eda was visually incredible. Luz meeting King's Dad, played by Arin Hanson who you might know if you've watched Game Grumps, was so meta that it reminded me of a certain show about frogs, one that had an Easter Egg earlier in this series and one I'd recommend you guys view after Gravity Falls. Luz as the Titan Witch had such a badass design, and I wished that it was a part of her for good, but I understand why it wasn't the case. We get one more Lumity kiss, this one could not be mistaken for anything else. The time jump was something I didn't see coming but I loved that they did that. Hunter's new Palisman being named Waffles and is Flapjack's younger sister. Everyone celebrating Luz's quinceanera 3 years late is awesome. Especially the Azura cake, I'd buy it for $50. Everyone saying byeeeee one final time made me tear up knowing this amazing series was over. These three specials deserved a full season and I flipping hate Disney for denying the fans this, but Dana proved she is the Master of taking what time she had and squeezing every second she can out of it. This special was an absolute masterpiece with my negatives being nitpicks at best. Thanks for watching!
i really loved the twist on the aesthetics of good vs. evil in this show. luz's darker looking magic, and restoring the isles from green to red
The final scenes are definitely worth rewatching because there are so many little things to find. Like Dana signed Luz's scholarship, Dana being a student at hexside, the other basilisks next to Eda's headmaster office. So many things that make it perfect
Man when I tell you this episode had me crying almost the entire time. Everything was so amazing and wonderful. All the callbacks and motifs that they threw in… I love this show so much. Dana and the Owl Crew really put all their love in this show.
They did an amazing job bringing the show together despite having to cut it short
Wow what an emotional end to a very magnificent show! I cannot express how much this show means to me and to all of us! From the writing, plot, animation, story, representation and of course lumity, this show has changed and impacted the animation industry so much and for the people that has been influenced by this show is truly incredible its such a shame disney cut this show short and i will never forgive them for that but it doesnt mean it wont get continued or revived which what im hoping and praying to happen! Thank you Dana Terrace and the crew for making this incredible and memorable show! Where you left off the characters was just honesly perfect and it may not be the ending that you wanted but still thank you for what you have made and produced i couldn't have thinked of a better way to end it their and really looking forward for more of the owl house content that's maybe outside of disney so hopefully you guys can move freely but once again thank you so so much!
Seeing you two watching the finale has been an incredible journey and i am looking forward to see your gravity falls reaction and also wanted to say to you guys congrats on getting married you two are the most entertaining, fun and funny reactors i have ever seen and yes i may not afford your patreon but waiting everyweek for your reactions on various shows is very exciting and worth the wait!
Just wanted to say thank you! Thank you for reacting to the owl house this journey has been long but worth it and
I will deeply miss the owl house and your reactions to it but until it comes back imma sit here in denial thinking the show aint over hahaha LUMITY FOREVERRR! Love you kenny and montana!!! BYEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
they all 3 look so cool 😲
One of the things I love about the Collector's character is that while he doesn't understand death and how much damage he's doing, they still respect King's boundaries - he asks if he can sleep with Francois, and when the answer is no, they respect that. And when Belos picks up Francois as Raine, the Collector takes him back and puts him back on the nightstand, because even though he's mad at King, he respects that no one else is allowed to hold Francois. I think it's a really neat touch.
Also, going back and rewatching the series after seeing the finale and learning that glyphs come from the Titan and that "he must like Luz a lot, to show you that much" - when Luz learns her first glyph, she hadn't been able to see anything on the screen of her phone... until she made King happy by promising to take his class on demons. Then she looked at her phone and the glyph was there, almost as if Papa Titan had been watching and was thanking her for making King happy. I've seen other theories, but I like the idea that Papa Titan was watching over them and wanted to thank Luz for taking care of King by helping her become the witch she always wanted to be.
I love that Papa took a moment to carefully consider his words; it was simultaneously short and funny enough for Luz to remember it right, but his choice of joke communicates how he's been watching the whole time.
I'm continuing my campaign for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's showrunnee is Dave Filoni, who you might know as one of the main directors of ATLA, and Dee Bradley Baker voices a lot of the characters, he also voiced Appa and Momo and a ton of other people
The time skip part was not shown in Canada's Disney Channel it finished with Luz on the cliff. I had to find this part on the Internet, thank goodness a bunch of folks posted it.
When Hunter said he wanted to learn to carve palisman in thanks to them, I knew that meant learning from Dell. I was hyped to see it, and it happened.
(At 37:05) Luz: Like you said, "This is the _Titan's will._ *All* wild magic MUST be dealt with."
It was a lot of fun watching you two react to The Owl House for all these months! I found you through other reactors such as Not-So-Average-Fangirl and Wee Lass Reacts, and watching your reactions and commentaries has been a fun ride. Thank you for all your time and commitment to your work and watching such an amazing show from start to finish!
On a side note, this upload today was put up on my 35th birthday! What a great way to enjoy my day by watching this fun reaction to such a sensational series! Thanks for the birthday gift!
it was so much fun rewatching this with you guys!! im so excited to see you experience gravity falls, youll really have a blast.
for the hunter-clawthorne connection, i think that evelyne, calebs hot witch girlfriend, was a clawthorne and they had a kid before he died. so hunter is like, genetically edas great great grandfather. which is a super fun idea if true
I think Amphibia would be a great show after Gravity Falls. It fits the same vibe as TOH and Gravity and it’s so good.
As i predicted... Cried through the whole thing. Gonna miss these, but very excited for Gravity Falls!
Thanks For Watching. 😜
I sobbed when I watched the finale the first time, and nearly cried again experiencing it again through you guys. This show means the world to me - my friends and I actually have plans to get matching flapjack tattoos like Luz and her friends. I identify so closely with many characters in this show being queer and neurodivergent myself and to see a group of characters I can connect to like that honestly changed my life. I think I became a different person after seeing the finale. HUGE thank you to Dana and her team for putting out what they did under the conditions they had. I hope you two enjoyed the show, and remember that these fans will always be here. Us weirdos have to stick together after all ❤️
You know of all of the wonderful stuff in this show, my personal favorite thing is actually Eda's journey. Eda was suffering from her curse, she separated herself from her family because of her own guilt - not to mention separating from Raine, and she was a bit of a hermit making a living making a quick buck selling human junk while being wanted by all authorities... and over the course of the show, she reconnected with her family, she bonded with Luz and her friends, she fought against the powers that had upended the Boiling Isles and after a lifetime of delinquency and opposition to the school - she became the headmaster of the college. What an INCREDIBLE character arc! WOW!
This is coming out on my birthday.
It's a gift then.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Owl House as much as you did, and hearing you say so many nice things about the fandom and us was seriously heartwarming. This was truly such a nice experience seeing you discover and experience this beautiful series for what it is. Excited for the Gravity Falls reactions!! The vibe is a bit different in that show, but I'm sure you're gonna have a blast theorizing for it. Thank you for reacting to the Owl House!!
Got my first tattoo after this episode, the one the squad had in the timeskip of Flapjack.

I followed this reaction series in real time, but I wanted to rewatch along because I’m missing you guys and this show. This ending gets me choked up every time, but at least I have Montana crying with me at “thank you for finding me” memorial for flapjack.
Couldn't make the premiere but it's been so cool to watch you guys react to one of my favorite shows. The Owl House deserves all the love, and I'm happy you guys enjoyed it. As always great reactions, commentary, and thoughts!
First of all, thank you for all your reactions, and thank you to everyone involved in making this show, especially these final episodes.
There are a lot of great scenes in this episode, but one of my favorites is the first last confrontation between Luz and Belos.
Still desperate to cling to life and to achieve his horrific goals, Belos does everything he can to get Luz on his side: claim he was under a dark spell, appeal to her desire to save people and make peace, and, revealing his hatred and bigotry once more, claim that as humans, they have to be better than the 'vile witches.'
And Luz...doesn't say a word, doesn't make a move, doesn't even make an expression. She stares at him in silence and lets first the rain of the Boiling Isles and then Eda, Raine, and King kill him off for good.
It was ice cold and amazing.
Every time I watch the ending epilogue I have a smile on my face with how happy it is. I will miss this masterpiece of a show and hope one day Dana and crew can work on it again.
The Owl House was and is such a big part of my life, it was there for me during my hardest days, and it helped me through my realization of my sexuality. I'm so glad you guys got to experience this masterpiece too, because it's truly amazing.
The Flapjack tattoos the main cast have are so touching. That and the memorial get me.
Momtana being confidently imcorrect about how to pronounce L'Oreal

so glad i was here with u on this journey :]
cant wait for gravity falls reactions!
Well The owl house, Gravity Falls and then Amphibia would be amazing the holy trinity
(At 34:26) Oh God! Look what Belos did to their face. The tear stains tore most of their skin off (I can tell by the white color of his skin that he was burnt).
THE BEST EPISODE OF ALL TIME LUZ GLOW UP IS STARTING
Thanks so much for watching THE OWL HOUSE! It means a lot for many fans. I still remember you began watching my favorite show ever (AVATAR) and now you just finished my fav series of adulthood. Your reactions are always priceless, you guys!
Remember it's not over for the franchise it's just the beginning for this franchise's journey
Fun fact: the Pine tree and shooting star are supposed to represent dipper and Mabel from gravity falls
It’s so amazing to see Hunter learning palisman carving from Dell (Eda’s dad). Basically keeping up the family business. Eda and her father are descendants of Caleb Whittebane and Evelyn Clawthorne, and it was Evelyn who carved Flapjack for her husband in the first place. Now all these years later, the Clawthornes are still palisman carvers, and still have a preference for bird palismans, like Owlbert, Waffles (Hunter’s new palisman), and Dell’s unnamed palisman. Belos murdered Caleb, but by making Hunter in Caleb’s image, despite Belos’ efforts otherwise, Hunter still managed to find the family that Caleb was taken from to become a part of it. All thanks to Flapjack finding him.
As for the magic at the end, basically, this setting has three different types of magic. (Four if you count the Colletor’s magic.) Titan magic, witch magic, and palisman magic. Witch and palisman magic were originally derived from titan magic, but became their own things, and most characters you see perform a combination of both. But glyph magic-the original titan magic-is possible for anyone so long as they’re in a world with a titan in it. Luz can’t use witch magic, but she has a palisman, and is adept at the original titan magic, which is glyph magic. Hunter can’t use witch magic either, but Flapjack sacrificing himself, and being a Grimwalker who’s basically part palisman, allows Hunter to use his own internal palisman magic: originally Flapjack’s magic. With Papa Titan dead, glyph magic was no longer possible until King’s power could grow, but witches and palismans still have their own internal magicks. That’s what Luz meant when she said she and Stringbean have been making it work.
Watching the series with you guys was amazing 😭 you helped me fill the void that the ending left. Now that it’s over I’m gonna struggle again hahahaha, but I’m happy you enjoyed it as much as I did ❤️
This finale still gives me chills and makes me Cry, and i barely ever cry
I know these have been mentioned before, but The Dragon Prince and The Legend of Vox Machina are incredible shows. I highly recommend.
Eda's harpy form is very attractive.
Yea man. She just looks hot and she's one of my favourite characters in the show. But this show has got a lot of them. Plus Lilth finally gets her own harpy form.
Also Notice older King has a little star on his head as a little shout out to Collector?
I call Amity's final look Pirate Queen Amity.
Ha yeah she does look like a pirate. Plus Luz is wearing Amity's moon necklace from season 2 just adorable.
Frfr my girl Amity putting Gol D Roger and Luffy’s drip to shame
Belos: "The Titan speaks to me, and he hates both Chaos and Wild Magic !"
The Titan: "Eda the Owl Lady, the personification of Chaos and Wild Magic ? Big Fan !" While only having EVER talked to Luz since his Death
This is the part that always hurts....
It was a pleasure to accompany the reactions of this beautiful show from the beginning, there are so many emotions that it is difficult to forget such a beautiful story.
Thank you so much for your amazing videos, you are a great team!
Byeeee! :')
The fact that the boiling rain stopped immediately after Belos died kinda makes me think that Luz used the power of the Titan to MAKE it rain to melt Belos.
You should consider watching Amphibia too at some point, the humor, and the jokes in it will make you laugh so much
The owl house will forever be in a very special place in my heart ❤
Very sad to say goodbye to owl house but SO excited for gravity falls vids
46:11 - *spiders crawl out of the cake* "I spoke to soo-oon!" 🤣 very cringe moment but your reaction and the way u said that was really funny.
Congratulations on finishing The Owl House. You'll love Gravity Falls.
I love how belos dies not from magic, not in an epic way, but just being stomped on
ah we love a happy ending
