King's dad indicates that as "both king and queen" he gave birth to King and that the Titans reproduce asexually, meaning there can be more Titans in the future when King's grown up!

@@awesomeman2245 The _context_ for him quoting King was to explain who he is when Luz assumed he is King's dad. "I think King said it best once: I am both king and queen, best of both things," meaning "I am actually _both_ his dad and mom." He than adds that calling him just dad is fine.
When King's dad says he's "both king and queen". I'm just thought he was referring the grom episode. When King took Luz's grom tiara and wears it saying "I'm now both king and queen"
Couple fun things:
• The “now eat this sucker!!!!!” line is a reference to the very first episode :)
• Luz standing over Belos while he melts mirrors Caleb standing over him in the second episode of this season
• Belos ironically melted like the Wicked Witch of the West despite his insistence that he’s better than the witches
I hadn't even thought about that last point. I love it!!
Fun detail: the kid they removed the sigil from, is the same one we watched get that sigil all the way back in "Covention". He was the first person we actually watched get a sigil.
The name of Hunter new palisman is waffles, and I love how Luz and her friends get matching tattoos of Flapjack

It's funny that Dana has said that in her original version of the story the Collector was not a major player. They existed as some backstory for how Belos got as powerful as he did, but he was never meant to be a major force. When the show was canceled obviously plans had to be changed, and the Collector was made into a much more important figure.
The team did amazing, especially with the unfortunate circumstances around the show. Even if this wasn't exactly the story that they wanted to tell, it was still amazing

This maybe biased but think I like this ending better as it feels cooler and develops everyone in a way I like and gives Luz's mum more story importance.

I think that the collecter assumed you could just fix humans aswell because everytime belos killed a Grimwalker a new one would appear

This was a fantastic Finale, so here are some fun facts about the ending:
- The Titan aka King’s dad is voiced by Arin Hanson
- If you notice all of the 5 main kids have a Flapjack tattoo, & that Luz has Amity’s necklace while Eda & Raine have exchanged earrings
- Speaking of Hunter’s new blue jay palisman was confirmed by the creator to be named Waffle
- When Luz defeated Belos she says “Now Eat This Sucka” is the same words form the Good Witch Azura in Ep.1
- During Belos spreading over the titan I am reminded of the movie Evolution

Fun fact! You noticed raine's palismon was a fox, it's actually been visible the entire time as their violin! If you look closely you can see the end of their violin has a fox head.
Their instrument was their palisman!

I love how the ending feels like we reached the renaissance of the boiling Isles with the death of Belos signifying the end of their dark age as everything seems to have a new advancements arising.
I am glad despite Disney ended up cutting the show short, that it at least got a proper ending and didn’t just stop with so many untied plots

Maybe it's just me, but on top of being a total "dad" stereotype, Papa Titan gives me some Sans from Undertale vibes.
I love how in the epilogue, the gang all have Flapjack tattoos, Eda and Raine have traded earrings, and Luz is wearing Amity's necklace. They built the Wild Magic University where the palace and Titan's heart was, and who better to lead it than the wildest witch there is?
Honestly, while I love this ending, it just didn't hit me quite like Amphibia's ending did. Fans were worried that the portal would be closed permanently and Luz wouldn't be able to return to the Demon Realm, but I'm sure they knew that if Lumity got broken up there would have been _actual_ riots.
Just binged your entire reaction series to this in like 2 or 3 days. God I love this series so much. Just wanted to say thank you for the fun ride.

I got to meet some of the Voice actors at comicon while I cosplayed as Titan Luz. It means so much to me! This whole show was like an anthem to my childhood dreams.

I wish we could peek into an alternate universe and see what this show could have been if it had been given the full support it deserved. The fact Dana and crew were able to make what we got under the circumstances they were dealing with is nothing short of incredible.
The magic cards were for Vee's benefit, because she's a basilisk who needs to feed on magic. The glyphs didn't work in the human realm until Luz was close enough to a source of Titan's blood for them to work.
And Belos himself said that he had a harder time finding the glyphs (in the time-travel episode)--like it was done on purpose. The Titan made it easier for Luz to find the glyphs because she was kind to his son.
Dana and her team did an amazing job wrapping things up, and I do hope she gets to release a journal (similar to the one for Gravity Falls) for The Owl House.
I just discovered your channel, and oh my GOD you guys are reacting to all the best stuff in your most recent videos, I definitely gotta watch through those. Thank you so much for following through Owl House, it was a blast.
Just as the credits start; if you pause the video and look REEEEALLL closely, you'll notice that the people of the Isles have built roadways and houses around the Titan's newly raised arm
Fun fact: the timeskip in the end is about the same as as long as the show ran, meaning if you were the same age as luz when the shoe began, after the time skip, you'd both be the same age again
This finale definitely had me in tears. I almost cried to both Gravity falls and Amphibias finale but this one outta the trilogy was definitely the most emotional. Ngl it felt like it was more emotional than me watching Mugen train for demon slayer cause I only cried at the end, but here I cried alot! A massive thanks to Dana and the crew for making such an amazing story thats for sure

this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form.
two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila)
+ the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional.
also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having time to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol
+ something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.
I could gush for hours on all the little details I loved about this finale, but that would take too long, so I'll simply say this:
Thank you Owl House. You truly were a wonderful experience and though its bittersweet, I'm glad I was able to be there for all of it even to the end.
And on a personal note. Thanks to you all for inspiring me to watch this. I had heard good things about this series before you guys started reacting to it, but after a couple episodes I was hooked enough to watch the rest ahead of your schedule. And I'm glad to have been a fan of this show as this Finale aired.

It would be great if we get novels that Dana said she would like to make, but regardless, she and the crew did an amazing job and deserve all the praise in the world. (The fact Arin Hanson from freaking Game Grumps voices King's dad is awesome! 😂)

I kinda love to see a spin off series that based on during the timeskip with hunter as a main character and we get to see how Hunter trying to adapted with new life without belos, without coven, how he get be a student at hexside, his visit at owl house his meeting with dell clawthorne etc..and to make more intresting by make any former coven head as a villiain

Say what you want about Belos, his titan form is the coolest Kaiju design outside a Godzilla movie
Literal in this series there were masculine tears:') especially for his last special..In the last one he was crying like the 4 of us, moved and laughing..3 good years this series has lasted 👏
The purposing of the same melody in different iterations and timing is a leitmotif.
And yes, this is the most creative use of that I've ever heard.
What a brilliant show. One I hope people keep finding and falling in love with. Truly a selling point in a renaissance of gravity falls, ducktales, amphibia, SVTFOE, and tangled the series as these story driven DTVA narratives with such passion in them. I suggest that, since you’ve been liking these, watch Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur! It’s so stylized and deep with a similar appeal to these! Ghost and Molly McGee is also fun!

Dana said that she just threw in The Collector when the series got cut short, and they'll see where this goes. The end result is just incredible!
One of the running theories is that Luz used her last bit of titan power to summon localized Boiling rain to do away with Belos.
This final fight was epic! And the music was amazing!
Nothing will ever make more angry than knowing that this show had its potential taken away, not wasted, TAKEN AWAY
Luz had the same death as Anne from amphibia by being disintegrated and then being revived by a god/powerful being
Raine really is powerful, not only were they able to purge Belos from their body on their own; but they were able to chase after him after doing that
remember when Belos possessed Hunter and then WILLINGLY left his body and it (temporarily) killed Hunter
Weird thing, but apparently it wasn't canceled for any LGBT stuff... instead it was a panick/rushed/autopilot decision during the pandemic budget cuts.
Edit: you decide which is dumber.
It hasn't been quite confirmed what the reason was, but Disney finally admitted by season 3 that they made a mistake as the owl house is more popular than they initially thought
i love everything about this finale and the time skip at the end, but flapjacks gravestone that reads “thank you for finding me. -H.” always breaks me

Nothing is ever going to convince me that Luz wasn't responsible for bringing the acid rain at Belos's death. That's pretty dark and mature. I don't have a problem with it! It was an epic and well deserved death scene, but still that's pretty dark.

The power of Leit Motifs is as powerful as titan magic when used masterfully, and the theme of the show being used for different moods in this episode alone is a testament to that

I wasn't sure if yall caught the fact that Belos immediately chanced on possessing the titan heart upon the Collector dropping that it is 1) alive and 2) a full-grown titan is basically the most powerful entity in that universe, because the Collector's magic is countered by titan magic
But holy shit! You dropped your own thought bomb on me making the connection that the light glyphs cure the Collector's puppet/nightmare spells because it originates from the titan too. I didn't think about that!

the titan SHOWED luz the glyphs he created to harness his magic, she's not the first user of it since belos already had known all the glyphs except the light glyph before becoming emporer. he even had a line in kings tide where he said "I didn't know you were already combining glyphs, it took me years to figure that out. almost like the titan himself didn't want me to have that knowledge"
It is just me or when belos started spreading himself across the boaling Isle's remind anyone of resident evil 7 biohazard. But in this case belos is like Evelyn.
It wasn't befriending the Titan that gave her magic. Belos/Philip didn't befriend the Titan. He radiates magical energy that's why she can't use the glyphs in the human world, an now that Papa Titan is gone she can't do magic. But now as King grew older he started also radiating magical energy and now the glyphs are back, but I think that the glyphs looks different now.
my favourite part about the Belos death scene was when he said 'We're human! We're better than this!' but at the time, neither of them are actually human as Belos is a green goop monster and Luz is a titan
in the human world, the witches could use magic because witch magic is not the same as titian magic. witch magic comes from the heart. AKA a sack of bile attach to the heart so they had their own source of magic. Luz could not use magic until they were close to Titian blood and Vee needed to eat magic
and worth noting Palisman have their own source of magic so Luz always has magic if she has Stringbean

And then there the Luz scene where she turns into light (light = luz in Spanish) and the Collector is confuse where she went with the words "the archives are not here, they couldn't have taken her".

I love how Hooty is one of the main Owl related characters, but doesn't get a single line of dialogue in the finale xD
13:29 The collector uses both he/him and they/them so either works fine. Whenever talking about someone with multiple sets of pronouns I switch which I use for them mid conversation.

I agree. Of the trifecta (Gravity Falls x Amphibia x Owl House) endings, Owl House has become my favorite one. (Followed by Gravity Falls, and Amphibia 3rd.)
It is so goddamned RARE when a series ends in a way that doesn't make you feel like complete crap, especially after the wake of many character deaths and countless loose ends that were never given a closure that makes you feel like you can leave this story satisfied.
Like Ruffsenpai I was already bracing myself for the worst because of the sheer amount of series (specifically anime) that basically eviscerate any hope or wish that you hold for the characters/series in your heart. (I honestly thought we'd lose Rain and Collector, and thank god my most morbid premonitions were proven wrong. 😭)
Some series tend to end pretty mild, while others were absolute disappointments and (quite sadly) a waste of my time. But Owl House doesn't fit in either of those categories.
And what's more it's a feeling of "This isn't goodbye, this is a see you later. If you ever feel like coming for a visit, feel free you weirdo. The door is always open to you." (As someone wisely put it, it gives the welcoming feeling for future generations.)
Very few have ever left me with such a mixed feeling of satisfaction, a tinge of bittersweet sadness, and yet an overwhelming feeling of contentment that makes me want to do it all over again because of how much I loved this series.
Other shows/anime that have given the same sense include 'Parks & Recreation' and 'Gintama', both of which give that same "come back anytime, buddy" feel that the Owl House also gives. And I couldn't be any happier for Dana Terrace and the team, and what they had accomplished against the odds.
I consider this and all the others ended the same way the adventure time finale went as it came summed up as " The end is not the end just a new beginning" or at least "The more things change the more they also stay the same".

This was an amazing finale. I also wanted to say, a fun animated adult series to react to is The Legend of Vox Machina. It has two seasons out, and a third is in production.
Btw. That guy didnt look like a blob fish. Those poor things are so horribly deformed when brought to the surface due to the change in pressure. They look ALOT better before being brought up.
I don't think that the collector can actually be killed. I think that archivists are immortal, thus why the Titan trapped him. If the fungus had grown over him, I think his body would just have dispersed and reappeared when belos died. There was a whole mention of how titans are stronger than him even though they're mortal, which implies that he isn't mortal.
TOH, a show to remember for a lifetime :')
