"Private eyes" is a good one and Darryl has a great solo song at least to me "Someone like you" from his 1986 solo album "Three Heart in the Happy Ending Machine"
a series called "Daryls House" with Daryl(Hall) and other guests ...and they did the song " I can't go for that "with Cee lo green .... oh my God you have to check it out and react to it ASAP

Then when I was older I realized that I knew every word of every song of theirs, even though I thought I didn't like them when those songs were popular. Then I realized their genius as a bit more mature person.
I clicked on this sooo fast. Hall and Oates "Man eater", "I can't go for that" and "Kiss is on my list" PLEASE. (official videos are best for the 1st 2 songs. The last song is best with audio version) Lots of saxophone. 🙌❤️❤️🙏
Hall & Oates along with Heart ruled the 80's well late 70's and early 80s. So many good bands in the 70s and 80s and was great to see many in concert back then.
So far you've done "Rich Girl" and "She's Gone". If you want up-tempo for your next H&O outing, you can do "Maneater", "Private Eyes", or "Out of Touch". If Amber wants something slower, you can do "Sara Smile" or "One On One". As for your question, this song has been used in TV ads by both Toyota and KFC. In 2020, it's been used in commercials for Google Maps, American Family Insurance, and Michelob Ultra. It's also been used in a ton of movies, including Step Brothers, Despicable Me 2, and UglyDolls.
Probably many others have already mentioned this, but Daryl Hall had an online series for awhile (starting in 2007) called Live from Daryl's House, and there are a TON of _amazing_ performances chopped up into single song videos that you can find here on YT. Hall & Oates...best selling duo of all time. So many hits. So many. "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," "Private Eyes," "Sara Smile," "She's Gone," "Rich Girl," "Out of Touch," "Method of Modern Love," "Maneater," "One on One," "Family Man," "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid," "You Make My Dreams," "Kiss on My List," "So Close," "Say It Isn't So," "Adult Education," "Did it in a Minute," "Possesion Obsession." Great reaction guys glad you’re getting to more Hall & Oates hope you get more of their songs including say it is so and Maneater and kiss on my list just to name a few.

I love Hall and Oats! They were all over the radio back in the day. I can't imagine anyone NOT liking them you can't go wrong with any of the songs already suggested 🙂
You guys STILL haven't done "I Can't Go For That"? You are missing their biggest hit and my favourite for the perfect 80s studio sound. If it helps, there is some sax in it.
"One on One" shows Daryl Hall's range when he was at his peak! I would love to see your reaction that that one. There's also great Saxophone break in the song. Please check it out.
This song happened to be a part of the #3 uses of music in the movies of all time (as voted by the readers of Rolling Stone magazine. Nobody ever mentions Wait for Me, which over the years has become one of my favorite Hall and Oates songs. The version from Daryl's House with Pat Monahan from Train is awesome
You're right, Jordan! "You Make My Dreams" was featured on an American Family Insurance commercial in 2020. Please check out other uptempo Hall & Oates hits: "Say It Isn't So", "Kiss On My List", "I Can't Go For That", "Out Of Touch", "Private Eyes" and "Maneater".
Amber, Daryl Hall does more than command that moment of the screen to himself. I saw them live in the 90's. For the entire show, Hall was jumping around and all fired up. I was a bit shocked, but I heard people around me, humorously commenting about it. I think his mood was a bit enhanced, but he and Oates and the band were on point for the two hours they performed.
I've been trying to get you to react Sheena Easton singing the PRINCE penned song 'Sugar Walls' for more than a year now. Come on man! It was one of many huge hits from the 80's. H&O's best in my humble opinion were She's Gone, Rich Girl, Sara Smile and Out of Touch. Daryl Hall also has a great solo song in Dreamtime and John Oates sang on the great 1986 hit by Parachute Club - Love Is Fire.
My bonus son and his wife played this at their wedding as the recessional song. After the preacher introduced them, that song played, and they, the wedding party, and the family danced down the aisle and to the reception!!

How about "We built this city" or "Sarah" by Jefferson Starship. Yes, they are a slightly more current reiteration of Jefferson Airplane. And still Grace on vocals, but more of a dynamic duo.
This has been several commercials. I even saw two back to back once that both used this song! The first time I heard it was for Applebees. I immediately fell in love with Hall and Oates' sound and started listening to more of their music.
Yes this one is an absolute "toe tapper" for sure. So many great songs from this duo, a few more are... "Sara Smile" "One On One" "Rich Girl" "Out Of Touch" "Possession Obsession" "Your Imagination"
This song makes me want to get up and dance. They have so many good ones it's hard to pick. "Maneater" was the first song that popped in my head when you asked for more songs by them. "Rich girl" or "Sara Smile" are also good.
"I Can't Go For That" should be on your list. Daryl Hall (the one singing in this song) and John Oates didn't make a bad song that I can think of. Daryl has got a real "blue eyed soul" vibe that comes out in many of their songs. Fantastic duo.
"Kiss On My List" and "Maneater" are AWESOME! Both were #1 hits. :) Oh, same with "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)." That's the song that knocked the #1 song of the 80's out of #1. :)
Since 2007, Daryl has invited artists to perform with him at his house. It’s called “Live from Daryl’s House.” Check it out. He still rocks. It all started for them back in 1972 (I think) with a neat little song called “Fall in Philadelphia.”
Amber & Jay Hall & Oates have a lot of great hits that u guys need to react to. One On One (My Favorite); Say It Isn't So; Maneater; I Can Go For That; Kiss On My List; Out Of Touch; Your Imagination; Private Eyes; Method Of Modern Love; You've Lost That Lovin Feelin; Adult Education. My sugar walls
My sugar walls
[Verse 1]
Where I come from there's a place called Heaven
That's the place where all the good children go
The houses are of silver, the streets are gold
But there's more where you come from
My sugar walls
[Refrain]
My sugar walls, ooh
My sugar walls
[Verse 2]
Blood races to your private spots
Lets me know there's a fire
You can't fight passion when passion is hot
Temperatures rise inside my sugar walls
[Chorus]
Let me take you somewhere you've never been
I can show you things you've never seen
I can make you never wanna fall in love again
Come spend the night inside my sugar walls
[Spoken]
Take advantage, it's all right
[Verse 3]
I feel so alive when I'm with you
Come and feel my presence
It's raining tonight
Heaven on Earth inside my sugar walls
[Chorus]
Let me take you somewhere you've never been
I can show you things you've never seen
I can make you never wanna fall in love again
Come spend the night inside my sugar walls
[Spoken]
I can tell you want me
(My sugar walls)
It's impossible to hide
Your body's on fire, admit it
Come inside
(My sugar walls)
[Outro]
Ahhh
(My sugar walls)
Come inside
(My sugar walls)
My sugar walls
(My sugar walls)
Come spend the night
Inside my sugar walls
(My sugar walls)
(My sugar walls)

H&O's best in my humble opinion were She's Gone, Rich Girl, Sara Smile and Out of Touch. Daryl Hall also has a great solo song in Dreamtime and John Oates sang on the great 1986 hit by Parachute Club - Love Is Fire.
They reacted to she's gone. They didn't like it as much If I remember correctly.
@@mcstacia Be that as it may I consider it one of their best!
@@Zebred2001 It is, but I think it just didn't hit Jordan quite right. I bet if he relistened to it now, he might change his mind.
My bonus son and his wife played this at their wedding as the recessional song. After the preacher introduced them, that song played, and they, the wedding party, and the family danced down the aisle and to the reception!!
Great song, gotta do One on One for them smooth, get yo romance on type jams. 🔥❤️💪🏻

"Sara Smile"
"One On One"
"Rich Girl"
"Out Of Touch"
"Possession Obsession"
"Your Imagination"
"No Can Do" and "Family Man" and you got a perfect list.
, That's Daryl Hall singing and John Oates on guitar. Daryl is on RUclips called "Daryl's House" where he have jam sessions with different artists.
This song makes me want to get up and dance. They have so many good ones it's hard to pick. "Maneater" was the first song that popped in my head when you asked for more songs by them. "Rich girl" or "Sara Smile" are also good.
They did "Rich Girl" for sure a while ago but, yeah, "Maneater" is a good one. We know Amber loves horns and that song has all those sultry sax lines.
"SARA SMILE" is my favorite H&O song!
🎵✌❤
Check out "Method of Modern Love" and their cover of "Jingle Bell Rock!" :)
This song is as fresh as the first time I heard it 40 years ago. Hall and Oates dominated the 1980s. Arguably the greatest pop duo in music history.
Lennon & Mccartney sorry?
Amber, I know you love Darius Rucker's voice. You should check out the version of Wagon Wheel he does with Darryl Hall.
Daryl Hall singer and John Oates playing electric guitar with 70s porn mustache
Female Friday Banger
BASIA-"Time and Tide"
One of the 80s hidden gems.
Isn't this on a Whirlpool commercial for the double stacked washer and dryer?
Sara smile and one on one are my faves of theirs… they have a cute Christmas video too.
My two favorites right there
They do a really good cover of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling".
"I Can't Go For That" should be on your list. Daryl Hall (the one singing in this song) and John Oates didn't make a bad song that I can think of. Daryl has got a real "blue eyed soul" vibe that comes out in many of their songs. Fantastic duo.
Yes, and they should also check the version with Ceilo Green, Live From Dayrll's House.
Check those videos out. You guys will will not be disappointed.
You've GOT to go to Daryl's House. You just have to.
Here's Kenny Loggins at Daryl's House doing "I'm All Right."

Hall and Oates (Darryl Hall and John Oates) were also both at the USA 4 Africa event too.
I’m from Erie, PA and this song is our OHL hockey team goal song!
Love them otters!
Hey from a former Girard, PA resident!
I grew up there as well! Small world.
I thought only the Toronto Maple Leafs had it. I must admit I find it a curious choice, and I know there are some in Toronto that want it changed.
I just heard this song on a new T J Maxx/Home Goods commercial.
Daryl Hall hits the high notes
I'm not sure about a commercial but I think it's in the movie "The wedding singer"
You need to listen to MANEATER to hit the home run of Hall and Oates bangers. Maneater was possibly their most famous international hit.
I love it when reaction channels get to reacting to the music I used to listen to and watch on MTV when I was growin up....I was 9 when MTV debuted in 1982, that's how old I am, ain't this some s*^+...lol ✌🏻🇺🇸
Need to check out Daryl Hall & his guest he invites to his house to jam out.. A good one will be Daryl Hall & Train jamming out to Papa Was A Rolling Stone....
Yeah, there's a lot of good music there. One of my favs: I Can't Go For That ----- Cee Lo Green Live From Daryl's House
You've only scratched the surface of their vocal range. It's time to hear what they can do with slow jams - r&b - "Sarah Smile," "Everytime You Go Away" or "One on One". It will blow your minds. 👍 Love you two 💕
Please, please do “I Can’t Go for That “ - my favorite H&O song of all time. So sexy and soulful. And have you done “Sara Smile”? Power on that blue-eyed soul thing, you really should listen to Simply Red’s “Holding Back the Years”. You will love it!
Do you recognize Darryl now in the MJ song We are the world - aid to Africa :)
One on One - great Sax solo and really shows off Darryl's range!
In th70s and 80s I was Hall & Oates. Singing in the mirror anyway. They had more #1 hits in the 80s more than any other artist...even Michael Jackson.
Another FF suggestion would be the band
Quarterflash - Harden My Heart
They were kind of an 80s 1 hit wonder , but oh my that 1 hit was something else
I second this choice, superb sax from the lead singer too
Still gets me every time :)
These boys are so Dangerous! Have fun!🤠🇺🇸🐎🏡
"SARA SMILE"
In my opinion, it's Daryl's finest vocals
It's a whole mood ❤🎵✌
