Hall & Oates along with Heart ruled the 80's well late 70's and early 80s. So many good bands in the 70s and 80s and was great to see many in concert back then.
Hall & Oates...best selling duo of all time. So many hits. So many. "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," "Private Eyes," "Sara Smile," "She's Gone," "Rich Girl," "Out of Touch," "Method of Modern Love," "Maneater," "One on One," "Family Man," "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid," "You Make My Dreams," "Kiss on My List," "So Close," "Say It Isn't So," "Adult Education," "Did it in a Minute," "Possesion Obsession." I clicked on this sooo fast. Hall and Oates "Man eater", "I can't go for that" and "Kiss is on my list" PLEASE. (official videos are best for the 1st 2 songs. The last song is best with audio version) Lots of saxophone. 🙌❤️❤️🙏
Some of their other songs are "I Can't Go For That" "She's A Rich Girl" "Your Kiss Is On My List" "Private Eyes" "Adult Education" "Method Of Modern Love" "Out Of Touch" and more.

So far you've done "Rich Girl" and "She's Gone". If you want up-tempo for your next H&O outing, you can do "Maneater", "Private Eyes", or "Out of Touch". If Amber wants something slower, you can do "Sara Smile" or "One On One". As for your question, this song has been used in TV ads by both Toyota and KFC. In 2020, it's been used in commercials for Google Maps, American Family Insurance, and Michelob Ultra. It's also been used in a ton of movies, including Step Brothers, Despicable Me 2, and UglyDolls.
Make sure to check out “Live at Daryl’s House.” Daryl Hall has an old farm house with a killer studio with a killer band and they bring on musical guests to jam. And they always cover a Hall and Oates tune
They are the highest selling duo in history. They had around two dozen hits. Love them. I like their moody stuff like I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do), Maneater, Say It Isn’t So, One on One (great falsetto by Daryl Hall), Out of Touch, Private Eyes. Great act.
This has been several commercials. I even saw two back to back once that both used this song! The first time I heard it was for Applebees. I immediately fell in love with Hall and Oates' sound and started listening to more of their music.
I love Hall and Oats! They were all over the radio back in the day. I can't imagine anyone NOT liking them you can't go wrong with any of the songs already suggested 🙂

Probably many others have already mentioned this, but Daryl Hall had an online series for awhile (starting in 2007) called Live from Daryl's House, and there are a TON of _amazing_ performances chopped up into single song videos that you can find here on YT. This was the 2nd to last song my hubby & I danced to at our wedding in 95. I believe it is the most streamed/downloaded song from their catalog. I have seen them several times over the years, most recently in 2021 & they still sounded great. If you have not already, look up their concerts; the concert they did for the Statue of Liberty is a good one.

Hall and Oates is a musical rabbit-hole…a very entertaining rabbit hole. I hope to see you pursue another great 1980s rabbit-hole - U2 - Pride (In the Name of Love), With or Without You, Desire, One.
"I Can't Go For That" should be on your list. Daryl Hall (the one singing in this song) and John Oates didn't make a bad song that I can think of. Daryl has got a real "blue eyed soul" vibe that comes out in many of their songs. Fantastic duo.

"One on One" shows Daryl Hall's range when he was at his peak! I would love to see your reaction that that one. There's also great Saxophone break in the song. Please check it out.

“Kiss on my List” is my favorite from these guys. They’re amazing. 🌺✌️
My friend, her new husband, and their entire bridal party danced to this all the way back down the aisle as they exited the church at their wedding! 💗💗 Happiest Wedding Exit Song Ever!!!💗💗💗
Private Eyes and Method of Modern Love were some of my favorites as a kid, but really I love all of their songs.
Amber, I know you love Darius Rucker's voice. You should check out the version of Wagon Wheel he does with Darryl Hall.
Saw them multiple times
live.
Fun concert.
Please, please do “I Can’t Go for That “ - my favorite H&O song of all time. So sexy and soulful. And have you done “Sara Smile”? Power on that blue-eyed soul thing, you really should listen to Simply Red’s “Holding Back the Years”. You will love it!
Hall and Oats are out on tour...Glad you got to react to this! This was back in the 80's!!
