Caleb Williams IS NOT READY!!! (Caleb Williams EMBARRASSING Week 2 Performance!!!)

  • Caleb Williams had an embarrassing Week 2 performance on SNF against the Texans. While he had a pretty solid first half, he completely melted down in the 2nd half and was either completely oblivious to pressure, throwing horribly inaccurate passes, or turning the ball over. The Texans seem to have set the blueprint for beating Caleb Williams, with their constant blitzes getting in quickly to fluster Caleb, who looked like a glorified high school QB under any sort of duress. It's become clear that Caleb Williams is simply not ready to play in the NFL, and the Bears need to sit him behind a veteran starter ASAP. Enjoy the video!

    Chicago sports media was so enamored with CW before the draft that they ridiculed any caller that dared to question CW’s mental state, intangibles, and poor leadership. Poles would’ve been run out of Chicago had he picked anyone else. The Chicago sports media will continue to make excuses for him the rest of the year. If he’s benched now, his confidence will take an irreparable hit and CW will end up as another mediocre footnote in Bears’ QB saga.

      I don't know where I fall on that, especially in this instance where outside of o-line, the bears have a decent offensive roster. You'd think Williams could produce something better but it is only his 2nd game.

    • @matthewlewis5198
      @matthewlewis5198 3 дня назад +2

      @@tylerd1297 yeah my thing is though Peyton is obviously an anomaly you know. It takes a special kinda person to have a bad year like he did and comeback to be one of the greatest. There’s a reason why he’s one of the greatest. Most really great QBs got to sit for at least some amount of time to learn from a vet on how to prepare and read coverages before getting thrown out there. I think Williams has a ton of potential but like he said it’s his confidence that can get hurt and that’s even harder to fix ya know.

    • @tylerd1297
      @tylerd1297 3 дня назад +2

      @@matthewlewis5198 I'd disagree he's an anomaly in fact, going down the list of best 2000s QBs there's almost none that sat outside of Rodgers. Mahomes and Love perhaps show there is merit to what you're saying. I just don't know that I believe in the idea of gaining real game experience permanently ruining a good player.
      I would run Bryce another 2-4 weeks and then sit him. I personally don't think he's gonna amount to anything but last season muddied the waters as far as evaluating him.

      @@tylerd1297 I respect that for sure you’re totally entitled to your opinion. But even if you look at Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy, Jalen Hurts and I’m sure there are more guys I just can’t think of them right now lol But they sat sometime before being thrown out there or forced to start due to injuries. I’m not saying you gain real in game experience, but you get a chance to see them game from a different place, how to prepare, reading coverages and you get to see mistakes that aren’t your own. There’s valuable experience to gain in that. It’s just like a job most times they usually have you shadow someone before you actually start working on things for yourself that could actually affect the company. At least that’s my experience in the jobs I’ve had in Sales and Engineering. Is it full proof? No but does it help a lot times I personally would say yes.

I say to give these guys time but if he can't read defenses by now, the Bears and Caleb are in trouble. He is also too arrogant to put his ego aside and be willing to learn a lot. I won't say that he will be a bust, but that's not good that he can't read defenses. Also, Jayden Daniels didn't look good either against a bad NY Giants team himself. Bo Nix isn't looking good at all either, goes down very easily, weak arm, the game is too fast for him, but for now, I'll hold back on any predictions, it's still early, it's only been two games, you never know when the light bulb comes on and everything comes together, but it's a bad start for all three so far.
    Let's see how JJ does when he comes back next season, that's if he gets to play much because the starting QB, forgot his name, is looking good so far. Someone has to show some potential in this class.

    Not easy to QB when it dawns on you that there's zero offensive cover to work behind. Williams looked terrified every time he had the ball and rightly so because the Bears offensive line was so poor and they couldn't keep the Houston defense off him. Hard to play to the best of your ability and focus when you know you're gonna get slammed into at any moment. All the OL has to do their job, not just Williams. He can't do his job unless they do theirs... and they didn't. At all.

      The penalties were killing so many drives so many times instead of needing ten yards they needed fifteen yards for a first down. It’s hard to have offense when you doing that. They had hardly any running game either. I thought mostly Caleb played well despite all of those issues. This guy putting every issue on Caleb instead of being objective and seeing the team as a whole isn’t good.

    @yokaidigital3033 3 дня назад +1

    I actual disagree Caleb played okay yes he didn’t look like a elite quarterback out there but he’s not the reason they lost. Penalties every time they were actual putting a drive together here comes the false start penalty by the O-Line. I don’t fault him on his second int cause he was trying to make a play escaping a sack and I think more times than not that would been a good play. The first one though he under threw his man who was covered that was a bad pass. Bottom line though Caleb wasn’t the main reason they lost. They have hardly a running game and those damn penalties.

      Bryce isn't looking any better this year then he did last year, he is looking like he will be a bust. No improvement, not made for the NFL game, I think that he can't handle the speed of the NFL game, but it's his second season and he has not shown any improvement at all. So, I will predict that he will be a bust. This new class is still in their first year so I won't predict anything now, but things aren't looking good. I think that the game is too fast for all of them. Dak is a solid QB though, why do people criticize him?
