It's possible the dudes running the GOOFY builds are using the mod that maxes out your armor skills with just one point in them so they dip a point into everything and get the max armor skill effect.
@migutek1426 I mean i have seen people who had Fatalis gear at MR 40. So I would have to agree Edit: I also have seen some wild stuff as well. My personal belief is 70% of the people who play monster hunter can't build to save their life
I am one of those who isn't able to make a build... but the problem is I can't even beat the kirin with the broken horn... how am I supposed to play this game? I have something like 450 hours on it 😭😭
@@Riki_117For maximum safety and comfort: Normal 3 HBG (any) with 3 Close Range Mods, Special Scope and Shield with Thunderproof Mantle and Temporal. Tenderize Head with Temporal, switch to Thunderproof, shoot head until Kirin dies, retenderize on any opportunity. You can avoid Kirin's regular Thunder attacks and beams by walking away, any other attack by dodging away. You can replace the shield with another Close Range Mod since its practically useless. Also do it solo so Kirin dies in 5 minutes.
@Riki_117 For Glaive spam Tornado Slash, Dual Blades don't have enough range to safely attack the head, so tenderize body instead and only use Demon Dance when you have a long enough opening
Yeeeaaah. SoS Fatalis is uh, something. I just join other people's special Assignment Fatalis to try and help people beat it for the first time. Helped a lot of people beat it. But there's not a whole lot you can do when everyone else can't stay alive. It's just one of those fights where sometimes you join in and you make it to the last phase, and other times all 5 lives get lost before 1st phase even ends. It's always kinda funny seeing people complain about how hard Alatreon or Fatalis are. Then you look at their builds.....and realize. Oh, that's why they are having so much trouble. The Sheer amount of people I see in Alatreon SoS quests using raw, or just very poor builds for doing it is staggering. While in truth you can get away with some pretty barebones builds and still do well in these fights, you have to be good at the game to make that happen. The worse you are at the game, the more having better builds matters. Most vast majority of the complaints people have with fights like Alatreon and Fatalis kinda just go away as player skill increases.
Yeah...😅 it's definitely interesting stuff lol. The Alatreon vid I just did really no one actually ran high element. I had 1 dude who ran ice attack 6 and he was one of the lowest ranks of anyone who answered my sos which is funny to me. I'm definitely not an insane speedrunner at the game and I don't wanna sound like that lol but if more people just payed a little more attention to monster weaknesses, (like element, weapon type, etc.) then fights like Alatreon, Fatalis, Furious Rajang, Silver Rath and such would be way easier. But that's why I try to help sos where I can😁
I hear ya. Not sure what weapon you use but I would definitely try switch axe! Something I actually didn't know about switch axe when I made this vid was that you can clutch claw straight on to his head and do the multi-hit explosion move like that which makes it WAY easier to do it more often. Still gotta wait for the right punishable moves he does though and definitely bring temporal and rocksteady! Also if you're trying solo obviously make use of the roaming ballista and especially dragonator. Thing hits HARD! You'll get it for sure😁👍
When doing fatalis with randoms ether im playing bad and carting once or twice,or im playing great and everyone else is playing even worse then my worst.

I've never even heard of that lol could be🤔
I would rather think that they are cheating than to believe that guys who came up to fight fatalis have such stupid builds

3:53 that is a sick shot though
Indeed🔥
Sick video! God damn I love BG3 music...
Thanks! And SAME!! Fantastic game😎
Nice video! Solid editing!
Thanks so much bro😎👍
@2:25 actually Fatalis cannot do the cone while he is on fours only when he is standing up.
Hmm to be honest I never noticed that😅
Amazing
Funny stuff dude, keep it up
Thanks! I will😁
now this is epic
Lol thanks man😁
This is why I specifically only help players in lobbies
I seriously dont understand how people make it so far into the game, and never think about making a build
Beats me🤷♂️

@sigmoton2096 is there a way to use close range weapons? Such as insect glavie or dual blades?

Personally, still doing the special assignment and it feels doable its just that I dont have enough time.

Does the axes flinch and part break buff from heavy slam affect sword mode?
I honestly am not sure🤷♂️

Yeah... sos is like monster hunter's slot machine😆
Why do you need full Handicraft? Doesn't full four piece Fatalis help with sharpness?
It does but I just wanted overkill lol😆 a better replacement would be tool specialist honestly.
@blackbeltarcade lol, I personally go full attack boost with Free Meal Secret
I just use handcraft one and sharp during the novas, more than enough time if you’re using fish scales.
activate windows . bruh
I know...🤣
