@@user_1abc Well, i don't think there is a written rule about the 2-3-seconds rule, it is just a reasonable time to avoid accidents. And the 3 seconds is not only for stopping the vehicle, but rather for the time you realize that there is an obstacle then react by pressing the breaks (which could take up to one second with normal ppl, ppl with health problems would take even more) and decelerating to 0 km/h which could take even more than 2 seconds, depending on the speed and weight of the vehicle in addition to road, weather, car and driver conditions. (I think 2 seconds is more than enough to stop on Dubai roads, because there is almost no winter lol) The 3-second rule is also known to be followed in most of Europe especially in the winter due to icy roads, rain, snow and fog, and i know that because i live in Europe. A rule that's followed in most parts of Europe as well.
@@user_1abc
Well, i don't think there is a written rule about the 2-3-seconds rule, it is just a reasonable time to avoid accidents. (I think 2 seconds is more than enough to stop on Dubai roads, because there is almost no winter lol)
The 3-second rule is also known to be followed in most of Europe especially in the winter due to icy roads, rain, snow and fog, and i know that because i live in Europe.
So ONE more second as a buffer could save ones life. Good deal!
