I wouldn't say golf is pay to win at all at the hobbyist level. If you're playing with freaking hickory shafts yeah, you aren't gonna have a great time. But if you have an iron set within the last 20 years you will have no difficulty keeping up if your skills are there. You can put a quality set together of used clubs for less than 200 dollars, and there are plenty of municipal courses that are affordable and where memberships are not required. Now if you're trying to go pro, yeah you're gonna need a quality set, and some coaching, and a membership... so definitely cost prohibitive at that level. But then again so is hockey.
The only other player in LoL i can remeber who truly 1v9ed is spirit in 2015 spring lpl. He was fucking impossible, and that team was dreadful. Eventually some of the other players got decent, but that team was dreadful. And they beat fucking rox at iem world championship.

I thought of An improvement to the format of the lec, split the league into 2 geoups play a best of 3 round robin and then a tie breacker 4vs5 of the other group. This would result 4×10/2=20+2 bo3 instead of the 9×10/2=45+(1) bo1 to make this work you would need 2 extra broadcasting days however you ever only have to accomadate 4 teams in the studio per day instead of 10 which is a lot of logistics for the lec and the teams alike. Would also mean that 2 out of 3 weeks the team has 6 free days and 1 week where they have to play 2 times. Should be easier to improve like that.
I agree, but could there be a culture argument to have some teams being comprised of players of the same nationality (like csgo). But that said I’m danish and I don’t want astralis back so I couldn’t care more for national teams

They already startet drafting a bit different for the last two games so they propably had some internal discussions around that already. Also he might have meant that the drafts in a vacuum were good, just not for them specifically which would be more on the players. They shouldn't have draftet Ashe support fo example because Targamas can't play the laning phase for example. Also that one Lilia game was a bit sus but in general they had some of the better drafts in LEC I think. Gotta watch the interview tho so maybe I'm wrong here.
KC fans literally watched Targamas have no hands and preferred to blame Yamato because he didn’t draft 10/10 drafts every game
I don't like them replacing pieces that soon, but saying the KC draft are good... is just a lie. They lost 7 out of 9 games....
