I was fully prepared for Uzui to die : he was already badly hurt, he had poison in his veins, we had an explosion and he was going to protect Tanjiro with his body… Like, that's it, I thought it was done, I even prepared the tissues. I didn't think at all Nezuko could intervene because she already fought before, she went to sleep and last time it happened, she slept for entire months ! So when she protected them from the explosion, I was already surprised but when we discovered she could do something against the poison, I was like "wait, they're all gonna survive ?".
I knew we would have more about the demons' background during this episode but not that much, and yes, the tissues served me well. Their story was awful : the fact his mother tried to kill him so many times, his sister being such a pride but being used quickly in this "entertainment" district, what they did to her, what they tried to do to him, the fact they would have died like that if that Upper Six didn't intervene… And what really got me, it was him regretting his sister's life, trying to make her have a better "life in death"...

I should tell you why Daki stabbed the samurai. You see the samurai was client and since this is the red light district it's implied that Daki was about to be prostituted at 13 years old to him. But the man talked about her brother and disrespected him and weeeeeeell....she didn't take too kindly to that and stabbed him in the eye. And if you remember her fight with Nezuko when she screamed in the flame, Daki has a big fear of fire because she was set on fire.
You see when the previous upper six turn Gyutaro and Ume into demons, Gyutaro made his sister into a demon because of his decision. She didn't have any say because she was too burn and didn't consent. He wanted his little sister to survive like any big brother would. And here's another... You see both are standing apart in different light when they are in limbo, well because Daki was 13 years old and because didn't consent she was still pure meaning despite her crimes as a demon, she was offered to go to heaven but didn't. She choose to be with her brother in Hell, because she love him that much.

I’m so thankful that this was a series that you picked up. I love how much love you saw in the world of avatar the last air bender and I love how much you see in Tanjiro’s kind spirit. When he quiets down Gyutaro and tells him to stop speaking poorly about Daki, it’s one of my favorite moments in the series. He’s a fictional character but someone I admire greatly.

So remember a few episodes ago when Daki/Ume said that Nezuko's fire only works on demons? I forgot about this but remembered it like 10 minutes after i finished this episode
Cuz i was fine with Inosuke and Uzui dying I'd come to terms with it but then nezuko was like everyone's plot armor and it pissed me off till i remembered what Daki had said
