- We recorded so much footage at Tom Hartley Junior's incredible showroom that we couldn't get it all into the first video - • Inside Tom Hartley Jun... - so here is the full showroom walk around tour.
Tom chats to Car Dealer's James Baggott about some of the incredible cars he has in his dealership which include three F40s - one of which was owned by legendary racing driver Sir Stirling Moss.
That car includes the paperwork detailing negotiations between Enzo Ferrari and Moss prior to agreeing a sale and has been signed by the F1 driver.
Modern supercars up for sale include the fabled ‘Holy Trinity’ of hypercars - a McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.
Hartley Junior also tells the story of an incredible 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman ordered and delivered new to The Beatles’ John Lennon and also owned by George Harrison and latterly The Supremes’ Mary Wilson.
We also hear about Lewis Hamilton’s Grand Prix winning McLaren F1 car and Hartley Junior tells the incredible story of a six Grands Prix winning Niki Lauda Ferrari F1 car he sold during Covid that has never been picked up.

Lately, I have seen Hartley's videos, from Tom to Carl. They are very inspiring but I have to say that Tom seems to me being more humble than the rest of the family
Totally agree - seems like a decent bloke.
Oh he is, miles more.
Carl and Tom Sr only care about ££ and making a profit. Tom on the other hand loves the cars, will sit on them for years in restoration projects because he is super passionate about them.
It's easy to see why he broke off and started his own business.
Tom is more into the classics, race cars, their heritage and the story behind them. It's like an unparalleled passion
@@richboy900 well, I was meaning about his personality but yes, you can tell that he really loves car history and the cars themselves. His brother and dad do not seem to be a car guy as he is. Although my comment was based on his way of expressing himself, he looks very humble and down to earth and not by having all that amazing collection on his dealership does not look like to overlook over people's shoulders

Any video with Tom Hartley Jr is an instand click like and watch his knowledge and passion is just second to none. He comes across as such a great guy. Its not just about buying and selling everything is in absolutely pristine condition with history and substance above all. His restoration process is also second to none everything done by only the very very best in their respective fields. Hes building a new home and i cannot wait to see its final stages its going to be a mammoth build. Great video thanks for uploading
I would trust this guy and buy a car from him👍
Yes me too. Unfortunately my bank balance won’t let me though. Tom came across as a true gent.
This is the ‘class’ side of the Hartley ‘empire’!
Sounds like a genuine professional salesman
Very respectable guy. Considering he parted ways. Pleasure to see and great it’s still about!
I can see that his guy is clearly a true pro. On the other hand, some might say that his dad comes across as the archetypal second hand car dealer.
I'd say they're both good guys, his father is entirely self made, and Tom has gone it alone. Karl's a good lad too
All good guys , Tom and Carl want to move cars on quickly. THJ a complete car nut
Jnr’s a real G. Well mannered. Proper man
loved the stories, thank you
A safe pair of hands right there! the fact that so many of his cars come back to him says it all
I feel driving a classic car is a public service. And should be encouraged. Great video
I would work waxing floors for free once a week just to be by the 288 GTO… I would never sell it either. Awesome vid for us dreamers that may visit your show room to purchase someday.
Very special guy
Minute 30:34 "Because Niki had a bad accident in that year" This has to be crowned Understatement of the Year 2024😂
Dream way of life. Nice bloke too
I was at the particular race in Indinapolis so its also history to me
Great video I thought peaugot was oldest car company in the world not Mercedes?
Could listen to Tom all day so much more interesting than he’s brother
I live in the same town as this show room
This is where Bernie Ecclestone keeps his money too........
I cannot believe those f40s; that Sterlng Moss f40 will be worth a hundred million !!
That 208 GTO is my favourite it just screams Ferrari plus i personally think a Ferrari must be red i know people like other colours and i get that but for me it must be red
"Sell the best refurbished classic cars" PERHAPS you can fix the oil leaks, numerous oil drip trays under your "perfect" cars u are selling..........
Different GRAVY
Is that a Patek Philippe he has on?
To the cameraman, don´t film the cars while they are talking ;-)
Trump. Ugh : (
thank yoy for helping politicians and narcos lounder their money!
I'll have to call in when I next go the Screwfix.........
Really enjoyable video. I always think Tom Hartley Junior comes across really well.
Tom Jr seems the most humble and down to earth of the Hartleys. From the way he comes across, would far rather buy a car off him vs his brother (who just seems so so arrogant and up his own backside). Tom Jr actually looks like and sounds like a businessman vs just riding on the coattails of his dad/family name and trying to be some social media wanna be.
THJ is really quite something. And whatever his heritage-he's self-made.
100% what Tom has achieved in the classic car business and continues to achieve is amazing
Thank you for making this video Car Dealer Magazine. Love listening to Tom Hartley Jr. A true gentleman, so grounded, and so passionate about the finest cars in the world. It’s fantastic to hear the back stories on the fabulous cars he owns and sells.
What a fantastic humble man Tom Hartley Jnr is. When I win the lottery I’m coming to see you. Well bloody done and continued well deserved success
Tom, I hear and see your pain when discussing family, you are very polished at covering it up, and well done to you for that. Move forward with pride at what you and your team are achieving . Regards Andrew.
Tom Hartley Jnr comes across as more professional and likeable compared to his Dad and younger brother. He's not as cheesy as Carl and more professional/likeable than Tom. This is where I would put my money.
Tom could you please do a video on that gorgeous blue V8 Vantage! Would love to drive it!
Agreed. I got my eye on that.
The knowledge Tom has on the cars he sells is second to none.
Brilliant James. Really enjoying the series it's gold ❤
Great series, agreed. I’ve found all the car dealers he’s interviewed to be fascinating and very genuine.
He’s an interesting and successful guy.
THJ has to be the most passionate dealer on the planet! The man has class ❤
Hes the only hartley id buy a car from FACTS
What a great chap Tom Hartley is. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Tom came across as so down to earth and humble… If I could afford one of his amazing cars then he’d be the person I’d go to.
I don’t know if I ever get a chance to buy a car from Tom but he is simply the definitive dealer for the highest quality cars full stop.
This must be the highest concentration of F40s on the planet, outside Ferrari.
Question: are they open to public or do I need to book? Plz reply as fast as possible thanks
Its a shame he has all those cars he wont sell so he can drive them maybe once or twice a year. Somebody could really enjoy them
The man has pride through and through.
Now I know to go to Ashby de la zouche to buy an Aston.
Awesome collection 💯
Is that an AP Royal Oak watch Tom has on?
I just love the stories Tom can tell, absolutely brilliant 👍👍
Agreed. He’d be great company at a dinner party… assuming you’re a car enthusiast!
I've had a respect for Tom Jnr. ever since I first heard him speak about the cars I admire in one of his early videos. However, I think the way he does business is quite admirable, and I'm hoping if he's asking trump how he does business, it's to learn how NOT to do business. Tom seems more intelligent, courteous, and invested in customer service than the disgraced former president. Great video, gorgeous important cars, and fascinating histories. We'll done.
What I'd really like to know is what his average profit margin is on a typical Ferrari supercar? And thus know how much you overpaid !
I could watch and listen to THJ all day, he is a top guy, looking forward to seeing his new Cotswold facility, it will be very special I am sure.
Respect for Tom, think i've seen all his videos, so happy to hear him about my passion ! Thanks Tom, Jo from Belgium
have money yo buy expensive things to sell for more. so talented. he would be selling doubleglazing without his dad
A fantastic interview, Tom is very easy and interesting to listen to. Great idea for a series btw.
Always enjoy these discussions
I will buy a car from you one day
wow
It was impressive until we saw the photo of him and Trump 😂
Trump who by definition is a convicted sex offender, and this boy thinks it’s good to be associated with him 😂
Trump 2024
why is his accent so different compared to his brother and father.... is he acting?
