    Wish there are videos about Ford’s tonneau cover. I ordered it when I ordered my Bronco thinking I needed it. I didn’t realize how hard it was to install/didn’t know there were going to be back straps over the swing gate… kinda regretting it. It just sits in the garage because I can’t get it on.

    Would you be able to just have the front top only? Or does it need the second row top to clamp down?

    Ive had my Badlands for about two weeks. Haven't taken the top off yet. That Looks like a sweet set up, are those speakers in back, rain proof?

    • @theaxeman8492
      @theaxeman8492  Год назад

      I don’t know if I’d go so far as to call them rain proof - but I’ve have my truck get hit with rain without the top on a few times and I’ve never had any issues with them. I’m sure they’re « resistant »

    Have you done anything to enhance your setup, maybe put a plexiglass or something

    Btw, it’s the tonneau water proof? Or does it get wet in the truck area?

    Who makes the tonneau cover?

    How water resistant is the tonneau cover?

    • @theaxeman8492
      @theaxeman8492  6 месяцев назад

      It's quite decent. Water tends to pool up in the center - and I've had a good 3" deep pool - and never really had water in the trunk area. I've switched it out for a whole metal trunk enclosure for safety though.

      2.3 L manual. It’s awesome. Not at all underpowered. Best manual tranny I’ve ever had 👌🏻

    Seems like a bad idea. 2 points of connection when it's supposed to be 5? Seems like it would be over stressing the front clamps. No thanks.

    • @theaxeman8492
      @theaxeman8492  Год назад

      Well- luckily it’s my Bronco and not yours - and you know what they say about opinions….
      The back 3 connections are much more about creating a watertight seal than holding the roof on - but again - don’t do it. Nobody cares. You do you big guy. I’ve owned my Bronco for over a year and a half and have run this setup numerous times without even an inkling of an issue. ✌🏻

    Attempts show movement in rear section and only pushes down. It would be important to check if it lifts and I assure you it will. The questions are how much and how much can the top withstand before it breaks.
