I can't believe how easy it's to remove it! Thanks for sharing. I have to check the variable resistor for the volume. It jumps back n forth when I raise the volume. It probably needs cleaning. Your video helps tremendously.😊
orange = illumination, dimms radio at night, also wire nits should be used only at home, they might become loose over time with car vibration... heatshrink would be better even if you dont soldier the wires
Thank you! I followed this video and got it all working, but there is no audio from the front speakers! My 2004 Sienna LE had four different connectors in the back, and it looks like one of the other two were for the connection to the front speakers. Any suggestions how I can get the front speakers connected?
Thank you very much! This is the best video explaining the process very clearly. I've a question: Are the plastic front and sides covers shipped with the unit? They are not listed in the box contents!
Can someone tell me the colors of the wires of this third connector for the three wires needed for steering wheel control? In my car previous owner has cut the connector off and I can not find any description with the colors I have. Would be much appreciated.
If you don't care about the hole around the unit then that's no problem because it will work fine whether or not you have the casing. You still need to find a way to secure it though or it will fall out every time you accelerate!
Where did you get the harness that doesn't fit this application? Crutchfield's? Wherever you did get the bad harness, I hope you corresponded with them. Nobody wants this to happen again. I see you have over 130,00 views. Maybe one of them had the same concern and contacted the manufacturer.
You can get a plastic dash removal tool where it is impossible to scratch the panel at Harbor freight for about $2. It's way safer.

Thank you very much! Great video. I was ready to give up on my install until i watched your video. Thanks again
Super helpful video! Was able to drop in a new Kenwood stereo in a matter of minutes after watching this. Thanks so much.
Pleasure.
Did you just buy a new wiring harness kit?
@@chocolatechipslime I Bought the stereo and wiring kit / instructions together from Crutchfield

I usually do waterproof butt connectors and heatshrink. Waterproof isn't necessary just an extra precaution I take for myself and my customers.
Very educational video! Thanks mate!
So you lost the functionality of the steering wheel controls and the Aux input? There are adapters to retain those you know...
Christopher Teerlink and they’re cheap for the siennas
@@Madmike772 can you tell me what adapters to buy and how to hook them up?
I lost the connection to my front speakers. Any help?
What brand in dash navigation system did you get? and is it all inclusive of GPS, DVD, CD, touchscreen & Bluetooth hookup? and where did you get it?
Awesome! 39 dislikes from Toyota dealers that want to charge us $1,000 for the install.
We don"t install aftermarket stereos.
Great video! Thank you so much! Quick question. Does this stereo display the title of song in non-English language on the front LCD correctly ?
Thanks for the video. It's really helpful. Did your steering control work for radio and volume? Thanks
Steering control does not work any more on the new radio. Other than that, this radio has been great for almost a year now.

Really got excited about the kit until you got to the ending. The stereo is great, but what happened to the heater controls?

Hello
I have the same factory radio,
Could you make a video on how to install the other connector steering wheel control connector? Thank you.
Thank you very much! This is the best video explaining the process very clearly. I've a question:
Are the plastic front and sides covers shipped with the unit? They are not listed in the box contents!
They are not part of the unit. I had to purchase them separately. I put the link in the description
Can you list part numbers for wiring harnesses? I purchased one and it doesn't work

Hi, what if I put it without casing?

Is it possible for the names of the deliveries or which site you bought it from and the registered infidelity
Rule number one, you do not use metal tools to remove plastic parts! They're lots of affordable plastic tools that you can buy use.

You left 5 CDs in the old stereo 😂
