Interesting to see this approach. I find it more rewarding to brainstorm with the AI. I generally have an overall idea of the loose story and prefer to chat it through almost like the snowflake method: starting small and broad and expanding from there.
I've tried throwing outline templates at AI and I'm never satisfied, and I'd rather be part of the discovery process than editing a full outline.
Having AI as a "writing buddy" has helped me get through a lot, so thank you for your videos.

It is so cool watching you going through your creative process. For me it is the best part!

I usually write or generate a synopsis with an ending, and then I asked chatgpt to turn it into an outline with chapter synopsis in each chapter.

its usually shaded out on your selection of Claude because either you already have it or you didn't meet some specific requirement.. ex. not enough users or something. From your screenshot you need 5 paid accounts for team.

Hello Jason, thank you for your very inspiring contributions. Can you tell me which author writing program you use besides the many AI tools. Is it Scivener or something similar. I am currently looking for a program where I can store all the texts generated by the AI. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work.
    Best regards Stefan (Germany)

I use Atticus primarily. Instead of Scrivener. It lets me write and format the book.

I personally find AI to be better at brainstorming than trying to actually do any of the heavy lifting when it comes to planning or writing. I have yet to get any good plots out of it and it's not a plot that makes a book interesting, but rather the internal conflict, which needs to drive the plot. AI is worse than terrible at doing that. Don't get me wrong. I love using AI with writing. I just think people are doing themselves and their readers a disservice if they try to lean too heavily on AI.

Jason what about dialogue writing? For me English is not my first language so when I try to write dialogues / conversation between characters it felt like out there characters so how should I deal with it?

Only write about main characters whose English isn't there first language? Would be a unique niche.

I find this very hard to follow. Maybe doing it in real time is not the best.
