The Indian food at Tj's is made in Toronto Canada where there is a very large Indian population. I think it's one of the best collections of frozen Indian foods. The Korean scallion pancakes are excellent BTW but they've been out of them a few weeks now.The garlic naan (frozen) is so good too.
I was so excited when I first found out that they had Tteok-bokki, since that was the only place I found near me where I could get it that wasn't at a restaurant. But I just found some other at a different asian market that I'm excited to try! Also, your closing card is so adorable! ❤ I love the illustrations of you all!
I also love Trader Joe’s gnocchi as it’s such a simple dish but just fills up so good as well as their pizza macaroni and cheese. I just really love their dishes.
Everything you guys buy I usually get except the pad Thai and tteoboki. Sorry if I spelled it wrong. I do the spring rolls in the air fryer and it’s soooo good. The Indian food is a go to for me.
I usually get their chicken fried rice, as I can microwave it or if I have the time if I stove top it, it can be crispy and I love the taste of the crispy rice.
The trader joes dumplings is sooo good, the tteokbokki is sooo gooodd, the shumai is soooo goooddd, the shiitake mushroom and chicken is sooo gooooddd. Everything at trader joes is sooo gooodd
I agree about the tiny portions. I got the butter chicken and tikka masala because it's pretty popular and people say it's good, and I was like, "Bro this is not a meal..." Ahaha I would also need 2-3.
I've tried most of the dishes. I need to figure out how to make my own Tteokbokki! I tried the TJ one and the one from Bonchon both are way too spicy for me, and I can normally handle heat!
I also thought TJ's tteokbokki is really spicy and honestly not very flavorful beyond the spice. I like Maangchi for most Korean dishes but I don't bother making my own fish broth (and she can handle way more spice than I can!) I make a variation of Basics with Babish's recipe using instant dashi, and you can adjust the amount of gochujang/gochugaru to taste. Have fun cooking!
I eat that Tikka Masala a couple of times a month for lunch at work. I wondered if the tteok bokki were supposed to taste like that. It's very hard to eat. My family eats that orange chicken all the time. And the xiao long bao and the spring rolls. I want to try the gimbap. Yummm....trader joes for the win
I have an idea for a food video, but it might upset some people, at the same time I am sure a comparison like this has always been made by us foodies. How about you make a showdown comparison of greek gyro vs middle east shawarma vs turkish donair (doner) vs some generic american brand pita wrap?
Hawai’i in the house! NO TRADER JOE’S HERE!!, 😢 Oh well, I travel enough to Cali or NYC and bring my exclusive Trader Joe’s suitcase (and threaten…ummm I mean ask nicely to keep it safe on the plane as they could lose my clothes, BUT NOT MY TradER Joe’s!!! 😂)
Indian person here! The Chicken Tikka Masala is pretty good for a grocery store item. It's less spicy than restaurant quality, so perhaps it's "Americanized" as you mentioned. But overall, the Trader Joe's Indian food section is legit. I love their garlic naan.
If only we had a Trader Joe's here where I live. My area of Ohio is so far behind bigger cities... We don't have Traded Joe's or even an H-Mart...we don't have places like that here.

Look at Louis!! He looks mad that he didn't get any 😂

Hello YB, I always feel intrigued by your amazing videos, the food looks so flavourful. 😊 Hope you guys ate doing fine. 💜
I love me some Trader Joe’s! Glad you guys enjoyed most of that. 😊
the price was amazing!!
Everything you guys buy I usually get except the pad Thai and tteoboki. Sorry if I spelled it wrong. I do the spring rolls in the air fryer and it’s soooo good. The Indian food is a go to for me.
the pad thai I wouldn't recommend! 😂 but the rest was sooo good
The prices are SO MUCH better than the Erewhon video!! Wow!
RIGHT!
I usually get their chicken fried rice, as I can microwave it or if I have the time if I stove top it, it can be crispy and I love the taste of the crispy rice.
that sounds good!! I'll try that next :)
Herbert is just chowing down
First thing i noticed🤣i love it !
He’s hungry 🤣
Love your intro!! We do not have a Trader Joe’s in our area sadly, so I am enjoying you guys enjoying! ❤
thank you! and aww I hope they bring it, I feel like it's all over the US!
My favourite thing about these YB vs Food vids is Louis’ cute face behind you. All his expressions. He is such a good boy!! I want a dog 😫😫!!
he is a good boiiii 🥰
It’s nice to see an affordable option for quick easy meals when you don’t feel like cooking.
yess!
i am here for the dog ❤❤❤❤ 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🥰🥰
Your dog is soooo well behaved.🐕👍👍Was he always like that since he was a puppy?
he was!! we got so lucky with him😊
Love your waves YB! 😍If you ever consider getting a digital perm, it would suit you so well!
thank you!! 😊 omg I want to, but with my bleached hair I can't! I gotta wait for my hair to get dark again 😂
Love the outro!!! CUTE
thank you 🥰
The trader joes dumplings is sooo good, the tteokbokki is sooo gooodd, the shumai is soooo goooddd, the shiitake mushroom and chicken is sooo gooooddd. Everything at trader joes is sooo gooodd
haha yess I love their elote chips too!!
Thank you YB and Herbert!!
Have you done an HMarket food video yet? If not, I would love to see that video!!
I've never had hmart but I've had trader joes and trader joes food is pretty fricken gooodd
is there any German food you can try at Trader Joe's? That would be fun to watch. I don't have a Trader Joe's near me.
we didn't find any, other than sausages 😂 but some German beer!!
I agree about the tiny portions. I got the butter chicken and tikka masala because it's pretty popular and people say it's good, and I was like, "Bro this is not a meal..." Ahaha I would also need 2-3.
right 😂
Do more of the Trader Joe’s dumplings and other Asian dishes! Part 2!
okiedokie 😊
Had BP Jisoo’s meme come to mind for the pad Thai “not bad but not good” 😂
😂😂 exactly how it is!
Try the Chicken Tikka Masala in the Refrigerated section. It’s slightly more expensive but you also get more. Instead of buying 2 or 3 of the frozen.
yumm will do!!
Try the new Thai pancakes as well; they’re pretty good
Yum!! Will do :)
I can't believe you were able to get the TJ kimbop! That item is ALWAYS sold out in my area because it went viral :(
I thought it would be too! but the one near me had it 😂
I've tried most of the dishes. I need to figure out how to make my own Tteokbokki! I tried the TJ one and the one from Bonchon both are way too spicy for me, and I can normally handle heat!

@@gateauxgato oooo thank you I'll have to try this 😁
I've never made it from scratch but I think it's supposed to be not too hard!! you just need rice cakes and gochujang 😊
@@YBChangOfficial thanks YB! I love your videos ❤️✌🏼

love that!! tteokbokki is supposed to be way softer, I think the Trader Joes one is okay but not the best!
Hope you and Herbert had a great Valentine's Day ❤️ 💕 😊!
thank you, hope you did too ❤
@YBChangOfficial thanks I did, your welcome
@@YBChangOfficial my husband gave me roses 🌹 and emerald green diamond 💎 jewelry set to match my wedding ring 💍 ☺️ 😍!
Just soak the rice cakes if you want them softer.

Herbert loooves Döner so I see a good idea there 😊 if we can find some around us!!
I wish there was Trader Joe's in Canada, I miss the store that sold their goods.
😭😭 but you guys have FOODLAND which i LOVE haha
I don’t think YB knows that the Kimbap is vegan 😂
I didn't know this one was! 😂
georgous husky !

restaurant tikka masala is the best!! I gotta try the naan 😍
99 Ranch plz!!!
I've never been!! ON MY LIST!
Awwww I wish my supermarket had Tteokbokki. I order mine online
oo where online?? I'm glad you can still get it 😊
thanks for taking the Trader Joe's suggestion.
Thanks for the suggestion!!❤
Does anyone think their dog makes the same expressions as Hebert sometimes? LOL
LOL I can see that 😂
You should try Danish food 😊
I'm interested 😆
The only time YB eats vegetables is 김밥😂
yep 😂😂
Herbert really loves bulgogi.
His favorite 😂
omg your intro is adorable!!
thank you! 😊
there’s no traders joes near me so i rarely go
dang I thought it was more spread out than other supermarkets!
The bulgogi seems either too small or way overpriced when comparing how much food you get /lower prices on other items
that's true! it needs rice too 😂
They won't put a Trader Joe's near me...we tried, and got a Whole Paycheck instead.
Whattt 😭 I thought it’s everywhere!
Did you know that Trader Joe‘s is since 1979 owned by the German Albrecht Family/ALDI Nord?
Really?? Didn’t know that!!
@@YBChangOfficial
Yes! Just Google Trader Joe‘s Albrecht Family/ALDI. Can’t post any links due to RUclips’s spam filter.
@@YBChangOfficial

The cheese kimbap starts at 1:10.
If only we had a Trader Joe's here where I live. My area of Ohio is so far behind bigger cities...

dangit :( do they have a Costco??
@YBChangOfficial
We do have a Costco, but I've never actually been there as of yet.
The kimbap at Trader Joe’s is made with tofu :) so no meat! It’s vegan.
ohh!! I thought I tasted beef 😂
Chicken tikka masala originates in the UK, not India. Weird I know. So it’s a very westernised dish anyhow
interesting!! it was still good 😂
Aldi’s
the pad thai has no flavor sadly . ive had that
right 🥲
Most Asian food at Trader Joe's is good except the pho, which is a crime against Vietnamese food.
how did they mess up pho!!
'promosm'
Intro too long, forgot what video was about.
LOL but it's cuteee
