The amount of trauma Bruce went through in this comic is insane. Having to see your parents get killed because it's the "right" thing only for Bruce to save them and live the life he wanted with his parents only to have that all ripped away for the greater good.
Bruce is destined to never be truly happy, his obsession with the war against crime is all consuming. If you want to see what Bruce without that obsession would be like, you actually don't have to look very far. He did everything he could to protect the hope inside of Dick. Nightwing is basically how Bruce would have been had his parents not been killed and his heart didn't harden.

If Batman killed Joe Chill and it caused him to fade out of existence to where he never became Batman then he couldn't have gone back in time to have killed Joe Chill because he would have never existed. Time travel causes all types of paradoxes.
SupermanVBatman will always be my favourite comic book series. Every story was so well written. Fav would be Batman being bestowed with Supermans powers. The contrast between the two is phenomenal

I am 67 years old now and feel that DC and Marvel both have had their day.. The new bat woman in the comics was done very well. But the CW woke her and killed the character.. Comics have become something else and folks are bailing.. I had forgotten this story line but I have DC universe and I will revisit it...

All these quick deaths make a horrible plot device in a story and does no justice to these two characters, no pun intended. They've been killing these two and others just to sell more stories and I think it's gotten very old and repetitive.

I used to collect Superman Batman back in the day. It was a great book, but it came out intermittently for some reason and was often not ready on time. It sold out quickly, too. I still have them but haven't looked at them in over a decade. I should dig them up.

I used to collect Superman Batman back in the day. It was a great book, but it came out intermittently for some reason and was often not ready on time. It sold out quickly, too. I still have them but haven't looked at them in over a decade. I should dig them up.
