Mike, you're so personable and pleasant. I can't watch other RV tours without thinking, "I wish Mike Drudge was doing this tour." Nobody is as fun and knowledgeable as you. I'm a fan!
We have a ‘22 264 and wow do I like the updated bedroom in this. Ours has the farmhouse but the black they used in the bedroom, above the dinette and at the bathroom sink vanity sucks up the light. I can’t get I er how much brighter that bedroom is. Medicine cabinet is huge and I wish we had the heated underbelly they added. Solid upgrades to a great camper. These things tow like a dream.
Mike, I really appreciate the details that you put into your reviews. That being said, I would like to mention that in a few of your videos you have talked about moving the spare tire to make room for a bike rack. But in their most recent user manual for travel trailers, Jayco still says that adding bikes to the rear bumper will void the warranty. They say that over time it will cause damage.
Excellent presentation especially focusing on the safety features, what would be the Jayco units without the bunks (and/or Murphy bed)? I have made my decision to purchase a Jayco from watching your videos and doing some research, I'm a solo camper looking at the Jayco 173 MRB unit. Thank-you!
Hello Mike does this camper has Azdel construction, I see you mentioned plywood only? I thought pretty much all Jaycos came with Azdel, I would only be interested in campers with Azdel construction thanks.
Lots of variables impact that. First you'd need a 12v AC, or at least one w/ soft start. Then upgrade the battery bank to lithium, adding at least three more 200w solar panels. Fridge and furnace no problem as the coach sits right now. AC is the electricity-hog. -Mike
Wish jayco brought back the 298BH, I want something a bit bigger without slides and there is nothing in the market. We’d like to fit a playpen and the jayco 298bh had the perfect open spot
Hi Mike! The little blue sign on the bunks say 300 lb on top and 600 lb on the bottom. You say 600 lb on top and bottom on the two videos that I’ve watched!
With regards to window valances, why not incorporate Euro style slide up for mosquito day shades and down for night on all windows. You don't need valances for windows then. I think valances stick out too much. Not sure what the cost difference would be, custom valances vs window inserts. Opps corrected type for valances lol. Dam autocorrect

Hey, I ditto your sentiments. He's the only one I want to sell me my first RV.
Tbh this is the only Jayco unit I actually like, awesome floor plan and number of beds too! 😎👍✨
I like the no-slide bunk model. Nice job Mike. As always, thanks for the walk through.
Thanks for the video. You do a great job. Thanks
Thanks for the kind words. -Mike
Could you do a comparison video of the 199mbs vs the 264bh? Torn between the 2 when the time comes for our family to get a camper.

I like the enhancements as well! -Mike
Thanks Mike 👍👍

Can you do a video on the the Jay flight slx 260bh please?

The 173MRB is a very nice unit - Azdel walls, practical floorplan, perfect for a single person or couple. -Mike
@@VogtRVWorld If I can make it to Texas I will surely stop by and make the purchase at VogtRVCenter, thanks for all you do!!!

You'll probably want to focus on Jay Feathers or White Hawks then. This unit is aluminum. -Mike
@@VogtRVWorld Gotcha, this is why we need your expertise !!!!
Nice lil RV, why don't they put backsplash on the left wall of the stove? Makes splatter spray cleanup simpler.
I can't answer why, but it's a good idea. -Mike
How many solar panels and batteries to run the trailer with everything on, for a full day and only Ac and fridge and heat at night?

Jayco double bunks are 600 lbs top and bottom. Their smaller units with single bunks are 300 lbs each.
Where are the TV mounts for the bunk beds ?😢

I'd be good with that. I'm guessing it's a cost consideration. -Mike
Can I get this in a couples camper? I don't need bunk beds it is just me an the wife. would prefer a couples camper
