I could be wrong but you’re probably not around the 300hp mark. AHC Garage did a full ‘21 A-Spec build with dyno testing. With rv6 downpipe, k&n filter, and ktune their best number was 257hp. They also tried it with the same mods but an open air box (more similar to your k&n open air intake) and made only 248hp. Fully stock they made 240hp on dyno. Surprised by the phearable tune though… quicker pickup at 29:30 is definitely noticeable and clearly spins more as well. if you’re ever interested in some custom tuning, reach out to DRob from Innovative Motorworks. He tuned an A-spec that made 360hp but type r turbo upgrade/e30, the whole 9 yards. good luck with the build bro. just wanted to pass that info along.
Edit: After reviewing the Phearable Stage 3 tune on their site, their dyno sheet said it made 300hp 357tq on a stock TLX. So I may be wrong in my statement that you’re not at the 300hp mark. Are you running the stage 3 phearable tune? I wonder what AHC did wrong that they were only able to make 257hp with added mods and ktuner. I assume better tunes have been developed over time, hence the stage 3.
@@TastyRides Yeah, the graphs can be a bit confusing in addition to the written info they provide. I’d look into supporting mods for Stage 3 tune if you plan on doing it next year. Not sure if the stock turbo can handle all that boost. Glad you are happy with your tune on there now though, seems like a lot of fun compared to driving stock. Good luck and hopefully everything holds up good for you, I will definitely be following along with your channel🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
At 29:37 you're hitting 24.4 psi? what settings are you at for that? Stage 2 with everything ramped to lvl 2? Mine only hits 21.5. Granted mine is SHAWD but I have never had tire spin. Interesting to see it performing on a FWD
Hey, I’m considering buying a k tunner I just don’t really know a lot about them I have a 2022 Acura TLX Aspec shawd I heard stage two is safe, but if you go stage three, your turbo will die out quick. With your your experiences would a stage two be fine /safe for a stock TLX pretty much the only thing I really have done is the k&n intake and and EOS exhaust
When I first did the tune it was just factory settings stage 3 but since then I did aggressive ramp, heighted throttle response, etc. For a few weeks my mileage was pretty bad but I don't know if that's from the ECU or from bad driving habits, worst I've had was 19mpg and as low as 250 estimated range but it's been months now and I average 23mpg-27mpg and get 320 miles of range to 370 miles of range
I had it run along the left side between the dash and door, and then just tied up the cables under the dash, it's visible when the door is open but otherwise never bothered me

@tlx. I could be incorrect but according to ktuner.com/2021tlx/ the Stage 2 tune hits 300 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque to the wheel
Oh maybe I’m reading the graph wrong. You could be right as this could only be pushing 250hp and 300lb-ft of torque, my bad
I’m planning on doing the Stage 3 tune but most likely next year

Cool vid man. Can you go back to factory settings?
Very easily! Just connect the K-Tuner screen and select factory tune with the battery charger connected
Wow you were driving around my area lol.
You in NMB?
How’s the fuel economy after the tune?

How did you route the cable for the KTuner V2 display?
I had it run along the left side between the dash and door, and then just tied up the cables under the dash, it's visible when the door is open but otherwise never bothered me
You think the increased throttle response, turbo, and boost is worth it? I kept mine to base stage 2
So worth it! And if you don't want the response during some drives, just throw it down to normal drive mode
we dont need 30 minutes video learn how to edit
You don’t have to be an dickhead about it
