      @@damirbuljat Tbf half the team are barely capable of jogging. Walking will be a tall order for some though e.g Wilshere, Reid, Yarmo. Why do people think that bringing in a top manager is the answer? These managers work well as they have conditions to aid them. Here we have a toxic environment. What is the point of Moyes or any other survival football simply to stay up when it is boring af and short term meaning sooner or later we will be in a similar situation again.

    I personally think Rafa will be 1st choice. Has been 1st choice past 2 permanent manager appointments and we’ve failed. We can offer him as much money as China give him. People will say he’ll be the same as Pellegrini cos he went to China chasing money, but he would be far better. Rafa is a results based manager, whereas MP is a philosopher who (apparently) bases his style on attacking. Rafa would get the best out of our team as he did with a championship standard Newcastle squad. Our squad has serious potential to succeed and I believe Rafa, although he may play some boring football in some games, will get us into Europe and give us some consistency. The only question mark would be recruitment and who would be in charge of it. I believe Rafa has the name to attract good players to the club too. Let’s hope if Rafa is our man, he can bring Rondon with him.

    alright boys'i am a Everton sth and have worked with a few West Ham fans down the years and I feel really sorry for you at the moment with the massive bullshit the dildo bros spun you about moving from upton park as a Everton fan we did not relish a game there especially a night game but you just don't get the same trepidation going to the London stadium ,anyway I think Sean Dyche would be a massive mistake for you to take, we have just beat them in our last game and what a terrible way to play football the way burnley play they play like a rugby team who kick for out of touch and rely on set pieces they are without doubt the worst style of football team we have seen at Goodison for years and we have had fat sam just like you,but I think if it is Moyes I think if you back him for a couple of years he will really turn your club around, he bought some great players at Everton for buttons and then sold them for massive profits like stones,fellaini,to name just two,i am really glad we have sorted our manager situation out and it just goes to show a few wins and were 10th and just a couple of weeks ago we were right were you are,so make the right decision and I hope its the right one for you boys.good luck . If Moyes turns down a short term deal, there's every chance he wont get another offer in the Premier League. Everton and Watford didn't want him, Newcastle didn't want him. He's in no position to call the shots. That said, I understand why he would feel justified in asking for a long term deal. I just think it would be the wrong move. I'd like us to roll the dice and take a risk with somebody fresh. There's no guarantee Moyes would keep us up just because it happened last time. I don't really know anything about Kovac other than the obvious stuff, but would he be a better transition from a Pellegrini team than Moyes? Who else is out there, anybody know? Does the board know?
    If we want somebody risk free. I'd still go for Benitez, but it's expensive and unlikely.

    • @engespress
      @engespress 4 года назад +1

      The problem is that with a club like West Ham, eighth is your limit when Moyes is your manager. People don't want to get managers whose limit they know well. They want to think a new manager can take them to new heights.

    • @williamfinnie5005
      @williamfinnie5005 4 года назад

      @@engespress hi thanks for your comment.i listen to west ham fans each week.most are realists.they would be happy with top 8 and a cup run.remember moyes made everton a top6 team and qualified for champions league 1 season.

    • @engespress
      @engespress 4 года назад

      @@williamfinnie5005 But you will never win the title with him. At best, he will be like Poch, and keep you in Champions League if enough money is spent. But that's the maximum. Like Poch, you won't win the title or a major cup, even if you keep him for 10 years.
      Moyes was at Everton for 11 years and won zilch. I know he wasn't given that much to spend, but he had the advantage of having a squad he built himself and knowing the players well, being with the same squad for 11 years. You can build a great squad with very little money like Leicester did.
      I would rather have Pearson. He built the squad that Ranieri won the title with. And Pearson has improved Watford massively. You don't know - with Pearson, you may achieve a lot of things.
      But with Moyes, you know you never will.
      And if after 20 years of being in the top flight, you get a bad owner who is just interested in making money and doesn't build the club, and you've never won anything during the 20 years, and you get relegated, you can only blame yourselves as a fandom for lack of ambition.
      You never dreamed so you never achieved anything, and you end up getting more mediocre every year until you get relegated. Then you have to start again.
      And realists? Your squad is as good as Chelsea's, Everton's, Leicester's, and Arsenal's. The difference is AMBITION.
      Your fandom are boring fans who are pessimists and bottom feeders. You are content with crumbs and tell yourselves, "If you don't aim high, you won't ever get disappointed."
      Ever wonder why in 100 years, you have never won the title, never won a European cup? Because your club and fans lack ambition. The only thing realistic is admitting that your fans don't care about winning. Your club is not a winning club.

    • @engespress
      @engespress 4 года назад

      @@williamfinnie5005 And it's not realism. With the right manager, you can come second in the league right now. But your owners made a mistake: 1/ They appointed Moyes and then hired Pellegrini - two managerial mistakes 2/ They kept Pellegrini too long. Now they are panicking and hiring boring managers like Moyes. One step sideways and another step sideways.
      So in the past 2 years, you didn't achieve anything, and your club wasted hundreds of millions for nothing.
      You've failed. If that's your realism, that means your club is a failure.

    • @engespress
      @engespress 4 года назад

      @@williamfinnie5005 OK, I understand your POV and might have misunderstood you. Yes, this season a cup run and top 8 is fine and realistic, and maybe next year too. And Moyes can do that.
      I was talking long term. I would not keep Moyes longer than 1.5 years to be fair. I would be looking at other managers as soon as the club got settled and got out of the danger zone.
      It will be expensive to sack him while he's on a permanent contract, but unless he does a worldie and breaks into the top four next season, I would be looking for a better manager.
      Pellegrini was a mistake, but even so, I can understand the owners hiring him. They want attacking football and Pellegrini promised them that.
      But they should have sacked him at the end of the season or before the end of the season, and gotten someone else. You could tell by then that Pellegrini was a has-been, and a checkbook manager, and a poor one even with checks written for him.
      Then you could have your pick of good managers, such as Rodgers, Pearson, etc. Now it's panic time, and the club appoint someone who will get them out of relegation. And then you're stuck with him for a while.
