Funniest episode included Catwoman's imminent capture, and that dialogue has to have been totally ad libbed! A classic movie (HEAVEN CAN TAKE HER) starred Jean Tierney, in a role that must have inspired Julie. When Catwoman works Batman up to a point, but asks "what will we do about Robin"? Find it, and laff yourself silly!

As an adult, i can now truly appreciate their great talents as actors. Adam was top notch. Love these guys. I can't read Burt very well.. he sometimes looks a bit uncomfortable with his peers....not sure.
Why not comment on what a pivotal role these actors played in establishing an iconic television show, and cut out the snide comments? This panel, like the many others they have participated in to show gratitude to their fans, was about celebrating their work and what a lasting impact it has had on popular culture, not how they have physically changed over the years (which frankly, is nobody's business). It's a relief to know that Adam West has lived to see that his series will finally be on DVD. It's possible to wonder if the recent Scooby Doo movie "Mask of the Blue Falcon" (which was an obvious take on Adam West's situation) pushed the final release of the Adam West "Batman" on DVD, or if it was made with the knowledge that the conflicts were getting closer to being resolved.
It is complete class that the two gentlemen on either side of her are giving her an anchor to hold onto, so that it would be hard to tell that she was having trouble walking.

Catwoman really moved still most mysterious parts in me that the rest of the show couldn’t. Watched this show in the 1970’s - as a nipper (young lad) - in the UK. Catwoman hasn’t lost it. I woman of beauty, intellect, artistic talent and great character / love (so I understand). The show itself, I think, represented the time of peak freedom, general prosperity, new materialism, the fight of good against evil, democratic process versus totalitarianism, almost irresistible temptation (Catwoman), the sexual revolution (not all good), the plus and minuses of strong women (Catwoman again), application of a new type of zany art, a corny sense of humour, our strange love of violence (if we aren’t its victims), new fashion statements and also some pretty risqué humour (adults only). The inspiration is an old one, I believe. The original writers of Batman / Superman etc. simply modernised, cartoonised, Americanized and made more commonly appealing the old Greek classics. Of course, they also threw some more humour and sex-appeal in - as well. I think 3 series was about right. Doing more would have ruined it.

I read on the internet some time ago that she supposedly has developed a rare neurological problem in which she has lost sensitivity in her feet which makes walking difficult , but in this videoclip she appeared to be walking without any difficulty.

Back in the 90's I saw Frank Gorshin, Adam West and Yvonne Craig do a panel at a Mid-Ohio Con. After the panel I found myself sharing an elevator with Frank Gorshin and about 6 other people. He entertained us all with jokes and voices while waiting for and riding on the elevator. He seemed to be a very humble man.
why was Burt Ward so cold toward Julie Newmar? It's like he couldn't stand being near her. He didn't even bother to greet her on stage. It was a bit douchy of him.
I noticed the same thing! It almost seemed that he was uncomfortable on stage. I have watched other interviews with Burt Ward and when he is by himself or with just him and Adam West, he is funny and so outgoing and appears excited to be there. Not with this interview. I wonder if he was feeling self-conscious as he does not look as good as Julie and Adam, and yet he was younger than them!
It was interesting how Adam West warmly greeted Julie Newmar. On the other hand, Burt Ward didn't seem at all interested in greeting Julie. I thought that was tacky.
They kind of gave Robin a ribbing in the first portion of panel, because Newmar and West had such chemistry and are playing off him for laughs.. in the comic "A Death in tre Family" , Robin was killed with a damn crowbar by the Joker, and in the current Titans, Robin was like "F%^K Batman - and you see the genesis of the turn of Robin's portrayal ...in future iterations of the storyline.
Joker killed Jason Todd not Dick Grayson. Dick moved on to become Nightwing and Jason took over being Robin. Even the show Titans covered him no longer Robin. His moving on from Robin in the comics wasn't because of a falling out. Dick felt he outgrown Robin and Robin belonged with Batman so he was going to become his own hero. It took him a while to decide on Nightwing but during Judas Contract he was the last Titan not caught by Deathstroke so he dawned the Nightwing outfit to go after him.
u know what would have been great.......if back in 1966 they did it so Adam West crossed over with Christopher Reeves to do batman & superman but obviously it wouldn't be like the one of now but more of a team up from the beginning but it would have been interesting.

why was Burt Ward so cold toward Julie Newmar? It's like he couldn't stand being near her. He didn't even bother to greet her on stage. It was a bit douchy of him.
I noticed the same thing! It almost seemed that he was uncomfortable on stage. I have watched other interviews with Burt Ward and when he is by himself or with just him and Adam West, he is funny and so outgoing and appears excited to be there. Not with this interview. I wonder if he was feeling self-conscious as he does not look as good as Julie and Adam, and yet he was younger than them!
As bold and in-your-face as Julie is, she might have told Burt that he needs to lose weight!
It was interesting how Adam West warmly greeted Julie Newmar. On the other hand, Burt Ward didn't seem at all interested in greeting Julie. I thought that was tacky.
They kind of gave Robin a ribbing in the first portion of panel, because Newmar and West had such chemistry and are playing off him for laughs.. in the comic "A Death in tre Family" , Robin was killed with a damn crowbar by the Joker, and in the current Titans, Robin was like "F%^K Batman - and you see the genesis of the turn of Robin's portrayal ...in future iterations of the storyline.
Joker killed Jason Todd not Dick Grayson. Dick moved on to become Nightwing and Jason took over being Robin. Even the show Titans covered him no longer Robin. His moving on from Robin in the comics wasn't because of a falling out. Dick felt he outgrown Robin and Robin belonged with Batman so he was going to become his own hero. It took him a while to decide on Nightwing but during Judas Contract he was the last Titan not caught by Deathstroke so he dawned the Nightwing outfit to go after him.
u know what would have been great.......if back in 1966 they did it so Adam West crossed over with Christopher Reeves to do batman & superman but obviously it wouldn't be like the one of now but more of a team up from the beginning but it would have been interesting.
