I loved watching re-runs on YTV when I was a kid back in the 90's. This was my dad's favourite show way back in the mid to late 60's when he was little. I'm watching my complete Batman: the complete television series on DVD right now on my PS4. Thank you Adam, Burt & Julie your all awesome, even the other actors that were on the show ( Ceser Ramero, Frank Gorshin, Bergis Meredith, Vincent Price & many more).

I purchased the Limited Edition Blu-Ray box set, and it beautifully done with bright colors, a button which, when pressed, plays the Batman TV theme, a great series episode guide complete with boots, pristine video on these 1960s episodes, and the replica batmobile and trading cards! It really is a treasure and I was happy to showcase it on my Dean of DVD channel. If you are thinking about purchasing this set, you owe it to yourself to get the Limited Edition on Blu-Ray if you have the means.

The question why didnt Adam West appear as a cameo in any Batman movies...Well technically he did. But not the films. He made a voice cameo as The Grey Ghost character in the Batman the Animated Series. Who influenced Bruce Wayne as a child on how to be a Batman type hero.
I wonder if he ever thought that would actually happen. Having a standing ovation when his name is being announced. After being typecasted and having a hard time finding work apparently guest starring in Batman TAS revived his career.

I bought a terrrrrrrible copy of the 66 Batman set at a comic con around 2004 or so, so ya gotta realize this was close to 10 years berfore the actual dvd release, and I gotta tell ya, that bluray set...its extroidinary. The quality of that picture is fabulous and so vibrant. I waited so long for this set to be released for a long long time, and I never thought it was gonna happen until it finally did, and its been one of the best sets I've ever purchased. In closing, rest in peace to the classic Batman that I've always considered the "Super friends" Batman-Adam West

Julie was probably exactly the same spacey way in the '60s, in fact that's how I remember her, and that's fine with me. She looks amazing for a woman in her '80s. Oh, and Lee Merriwether should have been up there, too, I'm kind of amazed that she attended anyway - she's as big a star as any of them. I can't believe she made it through all those Barnaby Jones episodes basically doing nothing. That was a fabulous video, thanks for posting it.
