@legendthe1st One thing to remember is NZ only has 4 million people and there is A LOT of Rugby played here. Its true people get a bit blase about it, as it dominates all our sports news, sports funding etc. If we had 40 million we would probably have a core passionate amount of people that would rival the current total pop. With the pop of England we would fill super 15 stadiums....mid season dead rubber games, easily just like the EPL games you see. Give us 400 years to catch up pop wise.
@Poopypoopyshit I see your point, HOWEVER, both england and France, despite having much bigger populations than NZ, has to compete against football, which is bigger than rugby is in NZ. the top 3 leagues of the EPL all average over 12,000, with the PL averaging over 30,000! So considering the competition rugby has done very very well, especially considering most rugby teams come from cities with very big footie clubs- Newcastle, Sale, sarries, London Irish, Wasps, Quins.
@legendthe1st This is true. It is clear we are all passionate about it....some in a more reserved way. Its not like us to be outwardly passionate anyway....we tend to brood and take a" hard man" approach to things. It is rare for kiwis to wear their emotions outwardly, especially males...... its the tall poppy syndrome in all of us. Despite this I just got tickets for QF 4. I hope NZ can win their pool, otherwise I will be watching France play the Argys or Scotland. Will still be good either way.
@legendthe1st Quite possibly. It is always difficult to win. To Italians out there. The English have always hated New Zealanders. We know what they are like also - they are treacherous craft people. New Zealanders respect and like the Italians, and I hope you like us also.
@legendthe1st Yeah you might have me on the passion thing. Got a bit carried away there. Ok SKILL, I will go for SKILL mwahahahah! You cant beat us on skill!!! (Except for when passion manages to undo skill)
NEW ZEALAND & DICKINSON = CHEATS. WRECKING THE FUCKING EXPANSION OF THE GAME. Respect to the 80000 italians, deserved better than to be cheated out of teh game. Castrogiovanni is immmmense!!
@Poopypoopyshit PASSION? What passion? English, Welsh, Irish, French, Italian and Georgians are more pasionate about the game than anyone in the Southern Hemisphere except for Argentina. Fair enough, the S.H. seem to develop very skilful and powerful players but I'd much rather play rugby in europe where the money and passion is. You simply cannot compete with the north Financially. We have never bowed down to you. All of your players are coming to Europe, and it looks set to continue.
Italian scrum is much more better than the AllBlacks one...maybe only the Argentinian is more powerful than the Azzurri's.Will see Saturday against Springboks' scrum.
@jackalan88 Ok so i went OTT with the football comment, I also have no NH ''pride'', I support NZ and as the skill levels of the Super 15 are probably superior to most of NH club rugby. Perhaps, just perhaps you could see from your one eyed NZ eye, that despite being probably the best the the world, NZ don't have the most passionate fans, or players. Atmosphere at a NZ match, comes no where near close to that of European or some Argentinian club rugby, research it and you'll see.
@legendthe1st Bahahahah! European teams BOW DOWN to southern hemisphere rugby. Italy will NEVER beat New Zealand in rugby. They cannot match our strength , power, pace, and passion. They are ballerina's, and football players.
Spettacolo supendo!!!

All Blacks the best in the World. Repsect to Italy for respecting the Haka.

@Davisayan ANyway. Italy seemed to do well. 20-6 is not bad against the All Blacks.
