- On this week’s Horribly Edited Video™️ I answer a question I get quite often: How do I not get bit when working with the animals inside their enclosures?
DISCLAIMER This is NOT a method for every animal or every keeper. I acknowledge and accept the risks I take in working with these animals in this way and mitigate those risks as much as possible (working with any animal is never zero risk!). Know your animals and respond accordingly

I love how you work with your animals! Seeing it in person is something awesome!
@@heartlandreptiles thanks so much Jordan! We’re having so much fun with these little guys 🥰
You and hubby are just AWE-SOME retic ambassadors. I remember my first interaction with a retic in 79. My friend had it in his collection, and it was a nightmare. What a lot of people think a retic is now. Your edutainment is fried gold. You guys are a HUGE asset to our retic life. Thank you. 👊🏾🪖🇺🇸✝️
@@kevinthegrizzly5074 Thank you so much for the kind words, that means so much ♥️🥹
bunch of good tips in this video!
@@BAcHIGU_ thanks so much!
They’re so cute. I love how you’ve made snakes a part of your family and how you can showcase them as such.
Thanks so much - I’m so happy that translates over video! Every single one is a cherished member of our little crew 🥰😂
Never seen a snake try to open an enclosure lol, that's pretty funny
@@robo30000 welcome to my world 😂 They’re such silly goobs!
Omg. I thought you were a tarantula keeper, because your channel name, the Curly Haired Keeper. I thought you had a T albopilosus, or a "Curly Haired Tarantula". Lol. 🤦🏼♀️
Edit: but I stayed for the entire video!
Haha that’s not the first time that’s happened! We do have one T. albopilosus that was gifted to us, but the channel name is due to my curly hair 🥰 I did admittedly choose the handle before I knew curly haired Ts were a thing 😂
