Very informative as I have been wondering how the auction costs stacked up once everything taken into consideration
Seems like a reasonable price for a quality coin for me
Although I do tend to get wound up by paying postage
    Thanks for sharing

Thanks. Hopefully help if you decide to buy from an auction, but was a little shocked at the postage price. Think some of the auctions you just pay 18 percent premium and there are no other charges.

I think there's a possibility that you could do well ... but really ...to compare the Australian graded with auction purchase you'd have to get it graded ... it would be interesting to see how it comes out! that's if you don't mind waiting 4 to 5 months for NGC grading that is...!

I think it would be interesting to see how they stack up against each other. I might wait till I have a few coins to send off as you say the wait is crazy. I have 2 coins with them since June and not heard a thing yet 😕

@@the_islandstacker Same , 3 in May 3 in June.. I think going forward .. it may be better to wait until they've got through their backlog.. not sure what's going on...

@@chrisb.h4605 very much so, think they have released more coins in the last 12-18 months than the past 5 years 🤣

No it wasn't a good deal. The extra costs on top of the auction price were a total rip off. You could have got a better price from a bullion dealer.

If you can find them for cheaper than that then I'd buy them as well
