For real, Bakugo is a teenager and many are shocked that he is an emotionally immature person, when those who criticize that are probably over 30 and still have the mentality of children.
There is something great that All Might says in this episode to Bakugo and Midoriya that mostly gets overlooked. Essentially, he says that Bakugo's focus on winning the battle and Midoriya's focus on saving people, are both equally necessary to truly represent justice. One without the other is impotent. Winning without caring, and simply caring a lot without the drive to win the battle... both will turn out hollow. In that way, Bakugo and Midoriya represent two fundamental aspects of true heroism. I love that little nugget of understated wisdom.
Which is also insane in the fact that, its also kind of shown with the nine fight, but izuku or bakugou on their own is strong sure, put them together their unstoppable as a team.
To clarify: All Might was going to lose his power eventually after passing it on even if he hadn't been injured. What he had left was just kind of the remnants after passing it on that got weaker every time he used it until they snuffed out.
I don't really think there's any evidence of that. At least, in the Anime, it's never addressed. Izuku gets his power in Episode 4, but during Episodes 1 to 3, All Might never once says he's losing his powers, just he is very limited to using them (around 3 hours a day, if I remember correctly) and that it pains him to go beyond that limitation. It's likely that eventually his power would deteriorate to only being used maybe 5 minutes a day, but that probably wouldn't happen until months later. It was passing on his power to Izuku that quickly began to shorten his time limit. This is further backed up in the fight against All For One, where he roughly says that All Might is "holding onto the shards of his old self... Izuku Midoriya, the one you passed your powers onto". At least, that's my interpretation of it all. Only the writer of the manga can really clarify things further.

This was the moment when Bakugo became my favorite character in the series. I started out finding him annoying and wanting him to be put in his place, then slowly I stopped hating him and started to enjoy the character, but I really liked All Might and Todoroki more. Then this happened, when Bakugo revealed how he felt, how he thought he was the reason All Might had to retire, dropping all pretense of ego and attitude and just letting out why he was really so upset and what he was thinking and feeling. At that moment he suddenly became so much more relatable and I saw him as more than just some powerful kid with a bad attitude who wanted to win. It was kind of interesting how almost exactly one season ago we learned how Bakugo and Deku are basically two sides of the same coin, that they both looked up to All Might and took different lessons from him, Deku seeing All Might as someone who always saves people, and Bakugo seeing him as someone who always wins. Fastforwarding that to now, and Bakugo having to admit that the man he admired most chose Deku over him, and compounded by the idea that because he was too weak to protect himself Bakugo ended that same person. There was a shift in Bakugo here, like in breaking down like this and realizing his own weakness and how his thinking an prejudice have such effects, he went from this humorous character with lots of power that was fun to watch and roll your eyes at to this soulful badass who was a lot deeper and stronger internally than I had realized.

Because each time it passes it burns brighter and hotter than before. But it starts at a set amount. But the torch never lasts forever. So you have to pass it on before it snuffs out. Deku will eventually surpass All-Might but it won’t be for a while. One for All is a very complex power. And it only gets more complex as time goes on. During the final exam All-Might had the training weights on and was about 1/60th of his prime while intentionally holding back. Yet he ragdolled both Deku (who was at 5%. And 1/60 of 100% is less than that) and Kacchan. Because All-Might is so acclimated to one for all his flame was still RIDICULOUS. Bakugo and Midoriya are yes rivals but they have a really unhealthy sibling relationship basically. Speaking as someone with a similar dynamic with my little brother for a decade. I blame Kacchan’s mom. Her handling of him is how shall we say...crap. She apologized to All-Might for Kacchan giving him so much trouble. And considering the way she acts and talks, it’s probably where all the aspects of this fight occurred. One of my favorites and best looking fights for sure.
I feel Bakugo has always been the best character, I remember being amazed that people misunderstood him enough to think that he might join the Villains. He's always been a Vegeta, rather than a Sasuke.
Glad you enjoyed this episode! When Kacchan starts respecting Deku now that he knows about Deku’s quirk and that he’s All Might’s Successor. Which made Kacchan said to Deku to never lose again(against him or anyone else he fights). That shows us he has more respect to Deku than he does with Kirishima and anyone else, cause he never them to not lose
Love this episode even more because in my brain deku and bakugo were kinda like vegeta and goku to me, and all mights English VA is vegeta so it felt like he was passing on the torch! Made this moment so much better!
I was new to anime when i started this show. I had watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Samurai Champloo(Both anime you must watch. FAB is one of the best shows ever made). At first I enjoyed it but I didn't consider it special. But once season 1 ended I was hooked. Now this show ranks in my top 10 shows of all time. Seeing you both fall in love with it like I have warms my heart and makes me smile. Thanks for giving me that feeling again.
Haha. just the dynamic of that scene where Aizawa puts Deku and Bakugou on house arrest. All Might being the dad trying to lessen the situation, Aizawa being Dadzawa, basically grounding his kids, Deku and Bakugou being like brothers.
All Might's injuries only inhibited his ability to use his powers, but didn't diminish them. Using his strength aggravated his wound, which is why he could only use it for a few hours a day. As soon as he gave it to Deku he was always going to lose it. After that point he was only running on embers until even those faded, his fight with All For One burned through even that. Also just a reminder that the One For All user has to will it's power to the next user. All Might went over that with Deku after the Stain fight, since Stain ingested some of his blood during the battle. Toga more then likely doesn't know about One For All, and is only after the blood so she can take on his form. That and her blood fetish.
All might was losing streght because of his injury and that made him become so skinny, but after he passed down one for all to deku all might only had a little fire because he gave it to him, and the fire became weaker and weaker every time he used it

You can notice how bakugo gradually progresses throughout the season. Bakugo and deku were close friends when they were tiny, then bakugo got his quirk and became an asshole. Deku is a masochist, idk why he still likes or admires bakugo. Also, you noticed how bakugo only lets deku see him cry...so much to discuss their relationship

I feel Bakugo has always been the best character, I remember being amazed that people misunderstood him enough to think that he might join the Villains. He's always been a Vegeta, rather than a Sasuke.
I love the comparison made, actually makes a lot of sense
Bakugo had been one of my favorite characters throughout the entire series, but *this* was the episode that cemented him at the top of the list
This was one of the episodes that made me think that the fan theory that bakugo is the only telling this story at deku grave.
It's a quarter to 2 AM and our first quarterly exams are hitting at 7 AM... why am I here...?
ur living at the moment
Because you've been waiting for reaction to this episode xD
Didn’t expect this to come so early in the morning but I’m not complaining 😁

It's night here right now. watching at night is so relaxing 😊
@@Nahom4016-e7d it’s 11am for me lol

14:23 (breaks down sobbing in manga reader)
BRUH YOU THINK THIS HURTS?! TRY WATCHING HEROES RISING AFTER READING THE MANGA.
Spain without the S
Im pretty sure i almost broke my screen with how fast i pushed the notification for this episode😂😂
I'm pretty sure Bakugou will be the next generation Gran Torino (in the eyes of the next user, if there's one).
I’m absolutely excited for you guys about to enter season 4!! 💪🏽🔥🔥
Ya know, if you read out bakugous lines with more aggression and evil he sounds like an asshole.
Anyone notice how when Deku was about to finish Bakugou they used All Might's theme?
Yeeesss finally we’re here 😩💗 this is still to this day my favorite episode
Haha. just the dynamic of that scene where Aizawa puts Deku and Bakugou on house arrest. All Might being the dad trying to lessen the situation, Aizawa being Dadzawa, basically grounding his kids, Deku and Bakugou being like brothers.
Yeah... bakugo knows
I really wanna see all of the things animated...
That and her blood fetish.
bakugou isn't mean, he just needs a hug~
This is my fav episode!!! Ive been waiting for u guys to get here :)
5:34
Here for his moves...
i hope you guys do the movies soon as the 2nd movie was finally released in the us last month. love the vids. CONGRATS ON 50K SUBS !!!
Dos Cavazos before : 🗿
Dos Cavazos now : 👁️👄👁️
All might was losing streght because of his injury and that made him become so skinny, but after he passed down one for all to deku all might only had a little fire because he gave it to him, and the fire became weaker and weaker every time he used it
Aaaaa I cant wait to watch this
Edit: the wait was totally worth it! Love your reactions!!!
Bakugo: Even with All Might's power, I still beat you
Deku: Bitch that was 8 percent
Yessss! Also, I know you react to shows, but would you consider reacting to the Mystery Skulls Animated music videos? They're very good and all four are on RUclips!
This episode was crazy in Vo. Bakugo voice actor did a perfect job in Japanese, u can feel the pain in kacchan voice etc. U should really tchek it.
Damn this reactions really made my day better!!!!!
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long
this is by far one of my favorite my hero episodes
YESS!!
*100%* Worth multiple rewatches
That was a delightful reaction.
My Kaachan Best Boy Agenda is spreading ughh love it here 😩🥳
These last episodes of season 3 are the best tbh
It's going to be another couple months probably, but I can't wait to see them react to the new movie, Heroes Rising. They are going to freak out with how great it is.
YOUR REACTIONS ARE AWESOME 😎
Izuku and Bakugo resolving within 1 school year what took Naruto and Sasuke, and Goku and Vegeta literal years to resolve
Nobody :
The girl : awww
😂😂
I’ve been waiting since the first reaction to this show for this episode and my gawd I’m glad o did
This was your best reaction guys .
Woot season 4 hype!!!
Midoriya still remembers how Bakugo was, instead of the person his Quirk made him become.
_I want to beat you, the incarnation of victory_
save to win, win to save.
11:50 closed my eyes and started tearing up so I'm just gonna watch and not think
VOTE DEKU 2020
No, Vote Wall Might 2020 XD
When do votes happen
This is my favorite fight in the series
will you two do the 1st movie after S3?
The second movie was this fight scene on drugs lol. Great reaction
I love this episode. To me, this is the most emotional fight in the series so far.
Yea this is my favorite fight and season 4 has my next favorite
Major turning point
Oh. Man... Cant wait for you to watch the movies..
Duuuudddeee, you gotta watch my hero academia "heroes rising" then, it's a movie, it's fking 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Emotionally open bakugo is scary ngl
YOU GUYS have to REACT to Heroes Rising!!! It ties in well with this Episode!
Y'all remember when everyone thought Bakugo was being set up to be a rival Villan for Izuku?? XD
Broooo i've got that same my hero shirt
Yas my fav episode of the whole show
Will you guys watch Heroes Rising anytime soon?
I can't wait to see your reaction. I enjoyed this episode so much
One for all can only be passed on if the user is willingly giving it to another
The power is only passed on if the current wielder wills it to be
this is in my top 3 Fights of the anime and the other too are in season 4 😰
I"m currently on episode 2 of season 4. I've been watching it with japanese audio with english subtitles. After watching a few of these reaction videos it's hard to listen to the english dub, IMO the japanese audio is way superior even though I can't understand it without subtitles, same with the OPM series.
I can’t wait for you both to watch the heroes rising movie.
Please react to ova no regrets it’s Levi’s backstory
Give reactions on the Mha movies too. They are canon too.😁
Friend fight make them close 🤙
I'm extremely sad if there's anyone who thinks that Bakugou is the one who ended All Might and that one should go see a doctor to see if his brain works well😂
Oooooh! So that's what they meant!
It's so obvious that bakugou definitely isn't the one who ended All Might. I mean, All might will be ended or his true form will be revealed no matter what as the truth can't be hidden forever.
