    You could technically use guardian at long range since it’s the most accurate gun

      @MShaneM День назад

      @qBridges i use sheriff and guardian in the range - and i focus DM on sheriff and guardian only. the purpose of using guardian and sheriff is to focus my accuracy on shooting heads. this translates to the vandal if you tap/2 bullet burst with it (vandal may not be AS accurate but it definitely helps with where to put your crosshair and the timing of your shot)
      Im in plat and for episode 8 act 2 up until now, ive only had one act below a 28% headshot percentage and that was a 27.9%
      my highest was 32.1% (top 3.8% for the act which i assume thats rank based)
      My headshot % for ep 9 act 3 was 29.9% in the top 9.0%
      The main point of this (im not bragging i know im not insanely good at the game) is that me training with guardian and sheriff only in the range and DM has greatly improved and focus my ability to hit headshots. Which translates to more kills. My main gun in an actual match is the vandal as it has more kills over any other of my guns by a big margin.
      I take time in the range to focus on spray control as well, and spray transfers and I just recently put some focus into bursting and strafing with a phantom. Focused on that in DM and then focused on it for the first time in a match and I went 30/16/4 for that game. It was a bit of a lower ranked lobby for my game too but I promise you if you focus on your ability to hit headshots, it will translate to vandal/phantom

    playing dm with sheriff doesnt really prefent you from spraying cuz you just cant spray with sheriff, its better to just play with vandal and try not to spray. it may happen that you were plating dm only with sheriff so you think you will not have spraying reflex but then youre buying a vandal in ur ranked and you automaticly start spraying, thats why its better to play dms with vandal only 1-2 taps than with sheriff or guardian. i hope yk what i mean im not too good at explaining thinks in english cuz its not my main language

    • @spudfellow
      @spudfellow Месяц назад +1

      heres the deal:
      aimlab is just aim
      valorant is aim + movement + gun spread and recoil
      if you aim good but you are not stopped when shooting, the aim is pointless
      if you move good but cant hit a shot or manage recoil, it is pointless
      you need a balance of both, this makes firing range a good tool, but it must be used properly.
      the strafing bots are good, but make sure to also practice deadzoning and using your movement as an opportunity to and a tool for assisting your aim
      TL:DR:
      movement and aim are both required, in this case 1+1 is 3
      also i feel for deathmatch, guardian is better than sherrif due to the better spread and capability of fighting long range;
      you dont wanna make a habit for fighting vs vandal at 30+ meters
      but those are my 2 cents
