Everyone should understand that animations need to reflect the theme of the skin. Kuronami knife is meant to be flashy and fast because its design is ninja themed. Araxys chain knife is slower because its design is suppose to be a heavy futuristic weapon hence being slower with the animation. As much as people are not happy about it, Araxys having the spinning animation from the Kuronami knife would not fit it best. The laser shooting animation fits the theme of the skin better.
This.. somewhat a good take, but I liked araxys because of the scaley dirty cockroach skin theme.. not anything like lightning.. if you have more scales moving within the knife or something equally horrendous or disgusting, I'd absolutely dig it.. but no, it had to he some future Lazer pew pew nonsense.. I have bought an Araxys knife before and yeah unfortunately the pull out animation just lvl1 with glowing effect only but overall I still love it because the sfx and the chains model was perfect in my eyes
I would say Araxys Bio-Atomizers is a solid knife. Hot take, but I got tired of using my Kuronami knife due to lack effects on it. I love the fast animation in Kuronami knife but I might main the new Araxys knife a lot since there's a lot more going on with the effects and design. Might use Kuronami knife sometimes for the spinning animation. P.S. (Araxys knife chains are way more superior than the normal metal chains in the Kuronami knife)

Id like kuronami with any varient but with araxys ill always end up sticking to only one or maybe two variant (most likely the purple variant). As for the inspect animations i like the fact you can spin the knifes (and speed up the animation) with kuronami, where as the araxys feels stagnant in comparison araxys and kuronami aside, i still hope for a fancy switch blade knife eventually (i only recognize the blastx and apeture knifes as switch blades, the "personal administrative melee unti" does not feel like a switch blade)

I really like each skin in different ways. I love the sound that the araxys makes and I like how it is heavy but also clean at the same time. But I just love kuronamis animations.
Absolutely love the chain/s and I almost bought Kuronami multiple times when it was out (and sadly I regret not buying it). But there is no part of me that would ever buy a meele skin unless it was in the night market, solo. They're simply too expensive to be tempted with. I also love both kuronami and Arrayus and have almost bought both on several occasions. If I start playing more valorant, I'll wait till the night market comes around (it should be soon since it's around Christmas and leagues your shop is already out) and see if i get anything from there or if I might buy this bundle since I like most of it.

Araxys is just perfect for me. I use the guardian and outlaw a lot and ive been needing a skin for them, and also the araxys phantom is a good plus and the knife looks crazy so im definitely buying this.
im gona buy the hole new bundle becouse for the gurdian and outlaw i dont have a skin and i like phantom and sheriff aswell in the bundle. also i like the kuronami knife animations but i dont wanna wait and spend 50 bucks just for one knife.
Ok so in my opinion, araxys shouldn't have been a double knife. It might have been more appropriate if it was a staff or a sword. Araxys is supposed to be alien/advanced futuristic themed. Double edged knives are not what what comes to mind. Even the first melee seems more appropriate in comparison.
I own Kuronami and I love the blades but they get super boring after awhile. I think the whole Kuronami bundle is boring. The Araxys bundle just has an unbeaten heavy feel to it and these blades fit perfectly into it. Clean and heavy.
