Michigan’s UP is where things get a bit more interesting, at least as it pertains to mountain biking.
The Upper Peninsula (UP) where the landscape goes from the much flatter geography found throughout the Lower Peninsula to the rugged and hilly region known as the Superior Upland. Ishpeming, in particular, is also home to nearly 80 miles of handbuilt singletrack known as the RAMBA trails.
