  • This is my story about finishing the Marji Gesick 100, a mountain bike race between Marquette and Ishpeming in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. To be a #finisher you have to complete the 105 miles and over 12,000 feet of elevation in under 25 hours.
Jeremiah Bishop won the race in 2017 and called it “the hardest single-day race in America”.
This race is about finding your limits and destroying them, doing hard things, and finishing what you start. This was my first attempt, and the brutality of it pushed me to finish before the cut-off so I’d never have to do it again.
I do however have The Crusher and Polar Roll on my radar and maybe, just maybe I’ll make a run for the Triple Crown / Hall of Pain.
    Thanks for watching!
