It always feels like you need a few more pedals but you two can clear that no problem. You just have to pedal like hell out of the sandy corner. It’s always sandy. Took me two years to work up the courage To hit it now I hit it every time I ride the trail
Let’s get together next summer & check this off your list! I always have alarm bells in my head on the rock drop but it’s positioned high enough to clear without having to do much other than pedal and pop. Thanks for sharing! ✌🏼🔥
@@dukeofmtb It is a terrible corner, I agree. It needs to be bermed up so you can keep some speed around the corner. You both definitely have the skills to get it done! 🤙🏼
There used to be a drop like that somewhat locally. It was a sandy of camber right turn with about 6' and a gap. It took me about three days to send it. I was a lot younger then...
Really like the vids awesome to see all the places you all ride. If you ever get a chance to come to the rockies your turning skill will improve, but most of the places here you have to pay (peddle up) to play but that's what is all about. Thanks for the vids and is so sweet that she out shreds him
Steelville Missouri added a bike park and recently put in phase 2 black diamond with custom features.. hope u can come down.. let me know I am a couple blocks away.
That makes sense. That and a berm would help a lot with just flowing into the drop and gliding off. No point making it more risky than it needs to be. With the way it is now, it's definitely a 'double black' feature at least. I've never been a fan of drops that make bunny hopping off of them mandatory to clear it.

Adam you're a show-off 😂😅😂😅😂 Great video! Think he got in about 7 pedal strokes after the turn. Happy Riding....
Lol. Adam's a badasş. Glad you enjoyed the vid! 😁

The run up is so sandy and the turn so tight that it makes a relatively simple drop a lot scarier. I'm still not sure I could clear that even now. 😅

Man. As soon as I come up to a gap I freak out. That's one thing I need more practice on for sure.
Don't we all. 😅
Wow never knew trails were behind the mountain and these look incredible! Great vid
There are some awesome trails "hidden" further back from the main area that most people ride. Always fun to explore. Glad you enjoyed the vid. 😊
You’ll get it. If there is one thing I’ve learned, if you’re not feeling it, save it for next time!
Wow. That rock drop is massive. Maybe someday you will be back to clear it.
That's the plan. Some day. Hopefully they'll put some proper dirt on top of it by then. The sand makes it quite a bit harder. 😅

At least you did it eventually. 😁👍 I'm still skeptical whether we'll be able to actually do it next season. 😅
@@dukeofmtb you'll get it
@@MTBMichigan Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rob. 😊

Glad you enjoyed the vid. We'd love to ride further west at some point. We just have to find some extra time off work. 😁
Can’t believe that you really wanted to hit that terrifying drop!
Yup. It's a hard one to do. Maybe one day.
Good pass. Very hard to get such speed 😁
Yup. It felt too risky. No room for error. You either clear it or....😬
Great video, I subbed!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊

Thanks for the tip! We'll try to remember to check it out next time we're passing through. 😁👍
Scary idol hehe. When in doubt, pass muna.
True. 😅
the climb should start much sooner so you are already at full height before entering the turn, imho.

Drops like that kinda suck in a way must preload and pop if needed if you do not have the right speed.
Yeah, it sucks that a bunny hop is mandatory to clear it. It's risky enough with the speed issue and pedaling to the end. It's just added complexity.
If it had dirt at the bottom and not jagged boulders
Lol, yup. Not a good idea to smash a frame these days. You might not be able to get to new one.
first...mas malakas loob ng asawa mo kysa sayo idol.haha
lol. That's true. 😅
