This is the final song of an incredible 40-year career for Rush. It was also Neil Peart's final lyrics to be released.. For me, it's got the same impact that David Bowie, John Prine, Gregg Allman, Warren Zevon and Leonard Cohen's final albums had. It was almost prophetic considering he passed away soon afterward. This song encapsulates not only the entire Rush career, but Neil's life before and after the untimely death of his daughter and soon afterward his wife. For those that took the journey along with Rush, it kinda encapsulates our own lives. Such a fitting song. And in the end The love you take Is equal to the love you make
Thanks, Jim. I have to admit, Rush are the brilliant ones. I just try to put some visuals with it. 😀 Yeah, he really got a kick out of putting a second on pappaws turntable. It was priceless. ❤
Xcellent Vid Bro! Now let's do a Bob Dylan, Across the Green Mountain! With some good Brother pics added in! U do some really good vids, I'm really Impressed!!!!
@Josianne-Music Thanks, Josianne. Hey, we gotta raise these kids right! 😁 I've been contemplating on doing this song for a while. I wasn't sure if I could do the song justice. I hope it conveyed what they intended. Such a powerful song.
@@VinylShack A couple of the clips showing you and your grandson teaching him how to put a record on the turntable really warms the heart. And the live Rush clips I believe were filmed in Dallas which is the city where I first saw Rush back in March of 1979 at the Dallas Convention Center. What great memories! ❤️🙂❤️
@@VinylShack I shared your video with my sister and here is her reply… “What an awesome video! I loved it 🙂He is very talented and I loved how his grandson reacted when he got the album on the turntable 💞 I wish I would’ve known more about Rush back then ~ I know they are one of your most favorite groups. Is there an album you would recommend for a beginner like me to start with?”

I've thought about that Dylan song already. Man that would be a really tough one.
Rush is great! The video is beautiful and nice to see the little boy dealing with vinyl since young age. Well done as always 😊❤🎵
