I decided to grow my hair out 3 years ago when I realized my hair had gone white, I had been getting various shades of ash blonde and light ash brown streaked through my roots every few months...by this last summer my hair was past my collar bones, except the fringe which was just past my chin. I went in for a cut, a blunt cut just at the top of the collar bones, which meant 3 inches off the back...my fringe/bangs may not be caught up but the first cut in 3 years took 10 years off my face (I'm 60) then I did a temporary color of Royal blue on half, that took even more years off, and with the mask we must wear I can pass for 30-35!!!!

I started having amla juice by mixing it with juice from aloe vera two times daily. Regularly cutting the hair also helps. Take care of the lifestyle. Use liiitllextra cocoonnion hair oil, shampoo as both are good for hair fall control. If you will do this everyday, you will results in a few weeks time.

Following using cocoonniion hair shampoo over more than a week, itself started show improved effects in comparison to other shampoo cleansers. Currently, I’ve noticed zero hair loss issues and the smell is soo pleasant and my strands are growing steadily though its certainly effective.

Awkward stages are really hard for me. When I grow my hair long enough, I got thick hair, my head looks like a mushroom! Then I can't even look in the mirror how awful I look, so I go to the barber, cut my hair short and instantly regret what I did, and want my hair back so hard every single time!! I think I could past that awkward situation!

I totally agree with your point of using lighter products for longer or in general thicker hair. I never understood why so many people on youtube etc. recommend hair clays and matte pastes especially for thick hair. Even a quiff sometimes naturally has too much weight to it, so a dry clay might achieve the opposite effect by weighing the hair down.
A good Styling cream with medium to high hold and natural shine should be fine :D

    Hey Robin,
I'm DESPERATE for your tips/guidance on hair care tutorials for "Professional Athletes".. Those of us who train 3+ sessions a day & need to shower daily as well after they get exposed to chlorine, sea salt, sweat, sun, etc.. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
No one has EVER mentioned us 😅
Been following you for a loooong time. Many thanks for all that you provide!!!

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  3 года назад

      If so...
Wash when you need to. I take it you won't be using hair product every day?
I have hair products with UV/sun protection here. Some for chlorine too: manforhimself.com/product-tag/sun-protection/
This could be a good shout for you: manforhimself.com/products/aveda-sun-care-hair-and-body-cleanser/

      Hello Robin,
This is great! I'll definitely get them and test them myself. Many thanks!!
I have 2 more questions though,
      1) since I get exposed daily, is it better to wash daily since even though it's not recommended, it might still be better than chlorine leftovers?
      2) I'm growing my hair (almost same length as urs at the moment) but As you could imagine, it's a but dry & frizzy no matter using sulfate free shampoo (3 times a week), conditioning & using argan oil daily. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
      Sorry for the long questions.
      Thanks!!!

This video could not have come at a better time...
I am 50 yo and have decided to grow my hair... Lost Job, CV19... perfect time to have a play around. I have always worked in stuffy Law offices in suits blah blah blah... BORING.
Now I am free... Hair? Have not had it cut since April however, it is quite salt and pepper and I am finding the grey hair is really quite wiry and doing crazy stuff... It absolutely does not matter what product or how much or how little I use... it's just crazy weird.
    Any suggestions?

Hi Robin, wanted to say I haven’t visited your channel in a few years, and I remember you from when you just started years ago, and I’m glad to see how much you’ve advanced.
And just a question, you don’t seem like a very tall man (5’7~ correct me if I’m wrong), and so am I. I was wondering what kind of advice do you have to make us lower end guys look taller? I am in law school and a bit worried about suits. Besides tailoring and slimming them, any other advice?

      Hey Netanel,
Good to have you back. I'm 5'10 (180cm), so fairly average in height. Don't wear longline and have everything sitting on the waist. Will help to build proportions. Tailoring where possible really will help.

Been growing for just about one year now. I’ve gone 3 times to the barber only to get a clean up and shape my sides and back, but never touch the top. This is only because I noticed my sides and back outgrow the top of my hair, so I got the set up shaping trims and now I’m letting it all grow free.
