How dare you call Akbar unattractive! 😂 great looking statue! The one in the chair would be an awesome one to add to the collection if you don’t already have it.

I think I became super attracted to him during this unboxing. I started thinking of him as Daddy Ackbar and I don't want to stop!

I can't believe I'm going to type this out, but how does he put his shirt on over those gigantic mitts? Must be super stretchy long time ago far away fabric.

Have a zip at the back 😅

That's an excellent and hilarious question. Maybe his head is SUPER soft, like a squid and it makes a "PLOP" noise when he squeeze his head through the tunic?!

You seem to havea few of those GG statues. My Ackbar's lower foot doesn't quite reach the floor and it seems to put stress on the other leg... Is it possible to warm it up with a hair dryer or something to realign it? I don't quite know what material it's made of .. 🤔

I'm sorry to hear you're isn't coming together as it should. I don't think the material would do much softening with heat. I would closely examine the base and make sure there's no debris in there (use a paper clip or something while holding it upside down to make sure it's clear. I'd probably then use some kind of file to slowly shave the sides of the hole in the base.

@@StarWarsCollected the rod an hole fit perfectly flush, there must be a slight warp with the floor of the base or the other leg. It seems a common problem as I've seen reviews having the exact same issue. For now I just put a clear spacer to the foot and weight of the figure still rests on it.

@@DarthTabarnak Ah, I gotcha. Sounds like a good solution. I wish it had been perfect for you!

@@StarWarsCollected yeah returning it would not be a full proof way to resolve it but hey, still looks awesome and it's not really noticable.
