In this mini review, we'll take a look at the new VFX Bang plugin as part of the VFX suite by Red Giant. We'll take a look at some of the basic features, what advantages and disadvantages it has, and how it compares to using traditional 2D stock footage elements to composite muzzle flashes.

To vary the rate of firing you can assign a smaller number of rounds like 3, then click ADD KEYFRAMES. It will only fire 3 rounds. Duplicate your BANG layer and change the number of rounds you want and ADD KEYFRAMES there. Then repeat this throughout the shot. That way you aren't limited to steady firing...OR delete the trigger keyframes where you want the shooting to pause. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately I don't think Red Giant (now Maxon) even sells individual products anymore :( I think you have to buy the whole suite (1 time payment) or subscribe.
