Lens Distortion is a new tool that makes matching the distortion of your lens incredibly easy, so that you can believably composite elements into your shot. Even if you don’t know what kind of lens, Lens Distortion can figure it out in an instant. As you identify curved lines that should be straight, lens distortion quickly solves the lens. Just a few clicks and the job is done.

Looks sweet!
Hey Stue, Great video! I have a question: What do you do when your footage doesn't have any straight lines for the software to analyze? how do you get the undistorted image then?
Awesome! thank you!
Awesome!
Thanks

Hi Red Giant !
So is there anyway to export the distortion data to other compositing software like Resolve Fusion or Nuke?
Can we create lens profiles with this?
Hi, Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you can draw the lines in multiple frames of a footage before undistorting or creating the undistorted comp?
Great tutorial! Do you know where I can get the node slider as seen in
This has been great except I've had one issue...When trying to run the 3D Tracker an error pops up "unable to obtain dynamicklink project". I've tried uninstalling/re-installing but it only happens after I apply Lens Distortion plugin. The 3D tracker works well otherwise but I always get the error when trying to track the proper Comp. I'm using Adobe CC 2020. Any thoughts on how to fix?
Red giant is like you are the owner of After effect. I hope they appreciate your works
If you wanted to stabilize a shot to have a smother camera move - would you undistort it first? Or do the undistortion to the stabilized? ?
WOW
