  • Kenmore washer fills with water then stops. After completing one wash another load was added to this washer. It filled with water, it agitated, it spun, drained the water. It filled with water again for the rinse cycle and then nothing.

Also on those harbor freight multimeters, I have about a dozen of them. I have checked them on all ranges and setting against my Fluke meter and they are always within 1% of the reading. So not bad for cheap meters.

Especially when electricity is not my strong suit. Any idea on where or what I do next?

@@madscientisthut Thank you for the multimeter information. I did not know they were that accurate but I figured for what I use them for they were ok.

@@JOEZEP54 I replied to the comment on my video with a link to a video that I found, anyways the guy in that video had found the connector at the motor was loose that might be worth checking out

Thank you. I saw that video already & checked the connection on another washer that was given to me. That washer is outside & easier to work on. Unfortunately that was not the issue. I will check my washer at the motor this morning. Just a real tight fit at the location, I will let you know. If anything else comes to mind let me know.

I am not a tech but, on my own machine I had a problem with the lid switch and when I bypassed the switch it gave me several years of operation. I am not recommending this as a permanent fix.
