    • @dazeja
      @dazeja 6 лет назад +1

      Hopefully you got them by now because I never got a notification that someone replied. But here are the chords. Starts with a D chord ( add a little g note to it) before the singing starts.. Then GCDCGC then D. Start over again. The bridge is EDCG then EDCF. Start back at the beginning. Thats what I learned at least. It sounds close enough.

    I still remember how I felt hearing this song. I just bought the cassette and pooped it into my "Walkman". I was speechless - I probably re-played it 10 times. My thoughts raced to MLK, Fred Hampton, MX, Fannie Lou Hamer... This is man is incredible. so under-rated.

This album could stand toe-to-toe with the best of the other Minneapolis Sound artists like his old band The Time, Sheila E, and even his Royal Purple Badness.

      White...? um sir Rock was very Black but like brother or sister NeoGeo said it was a time they marketed towards White audience with record labels were willing to do so with a White artist but real hard rock rock punk music jazz and so forth was Black music most modern music was Black based everyone sings a genre with a beginning....

    Very interesting song for its time. Jesse Johnson is right about one thing being black American in America has gotten worse for us. One thing I don't agree with the song is including Hispanic people. Who care about them. Us black Americans are still being hunted and treated like animals in this racist country. I am a black American born citizen I refused to be marginalized and disrespected by any other ethnic group who thinks they are better than me and my race. I stand up for my rights.

      That's my only issue with the song, as well. I understand that some artists tended to have their dance tracks long and their ballad tracks short, but some ballads deserve longer length to have more life to them, especially if there's a message, like this song.

      respectfully disagree they both are excellent brothas should not downplay these two Geniuses they are truly the Black rockers that are very vital to the Music scene of the 80s and 90s into the now so this is why I love music like this he got himself a nice guitar with two wonderful two sistas sanging and playing the tambourines....
