- A montage for the one and only Prideful Prince of Rigel.
Berkut is regarded as a very bad cavalry lance due to his inability to tank with his low speed and mediocre defenses but with the help of skill inheritance, summoner support, and some ally buffs/ploys boy he can do some work.
The arena range of these clips is between 704-728 (some of these clips are 6 months old!) and the enemy units are around 5-10 merges (with the exception of the Askr trio). No items were used in Arena Assault.

It's not my intent for this video to brag that my Berkut build is the best build out there but to instead influence people that no matter how garbage a unit may look at first, once they've put in the effort of building their favourite unit to their full potential they'll get so much more fun out of the game.
I had a blast watching your Berkut montage as well! It's great to see what other people experience with a different build set for the same unit.

I definitely have to give credit to you for this build! I made him almost exactly similar and he’s been one of the most fun units to use in the game for me, especially in Tempest Trials and Grand Hero Battles. Excellent video editing as well!

Dude I have Berkut as one of my favorite characters of fire emblem. In Heroes, mages keep getting zeroes for damage man, his Res is off the charts. Usually those with high res have low def of other nerfed stats, but Berkut has good atk, def, spd, res, and AMAZING voice acting. Like, his lines in Heroes hit HARD. The lines from his corrupted unit also HURT MY SOUL. Even as a puppet for Duma, he always loved Rinea, and to hear him call out for her in Heroes made my heart break.
The editing in this video has me shook.

I have the same skill set, but kept Berkuts Lance to be Extra Resistant. I don't even take damage from Green tome users sometimes.

TSFC - Riki I used Adobe Premiere Pro CC to edit and took well around 20 hrs to create (cut clips out, add in effects, timeframe, etc.)
Ahh, my Berkut is similar. Just still using his Lance (Res refined) and no panic ploy. I hope he gets his spooky evil lance soon ahh

How good would this be if I didn't give him my summoner support(I gave it to nino since she's my all time favorite FE character)
Stylish Quesadila He'd still be pretty tanky with Berkut's Lance res refined. Having an extra 11 res and his decent base defense is still very tanky overall. If you want to go with ridersbane however, you won't be one shotting reinhardts on def tiles without horse buffs (55 atk is just enough to one hit kill a +10 reinhardt on a defense tile, if rein has lancebreaker he won't quad since he'll already be dead) so it'd be best to keep him cav buffed as best as you can.
I'd slap bonfire instead of aether as a special because he really wants to get those kills since 49 atk without summoner support might cause some struggles.
I built my berkut with a more res tanky build with his standard res enchanted lance. though I might actually give him panic ploy come to think of it seems good

Berkut is too good! I've been building up my Berkut, just need a spare Hector...
How well does Panic Ploy work on him? I know he has a really good HP, but how often is PP used? Would Atk Smoke be better?
Panic ploy is there so I can tank mages much more easily. It really comes in handy when I'm in tight scenarios (aka the boat map) so I can fend off enemies that could've been buffed if not for the panic effect.
55 hp is rarely ever bested and the only times I couldn't get the panic effect off is against some armors in arena.

Gunnthra is such a great partner for Berkut, Res boost with the Blessing, and Chilling Seal to debuff!
I use a panic ploy dancer(obviously ninian) on my team to do the ploys for berkut. He doesn't have distant counter, but his defenses are so thicc.
I'm also surprised you didnt use fortify cavalry O-O
There is only a few things that are stopping me from having this broken Berkut:
-Lack Feathers
-Lack Great Badges
-Lack fodders
-Lack orbs
-My LA!Hector is broken with Summoner Support
If i had the resources, i'd make Berkut my support and build it. But i don't have DC to begin with

If you ask me, this build looks like it'd be better suited for Berkut's lance. He would already one-round most mage cavs with 51 ATK and QR, so I just don't really see the point of a Horseslayer over Berkut's lance +7 RES.
