- The Germans are known for their many different Christmas Markets and their traditionally handmade Christmas Street Food Dishes, some of which we would like to introduce to you in this first edition of our “Christmas Street Food in Germany” Season.
If you want to enjoy the pre-Christmas period with medieval flair and traditional and medieval cuisine, you can do so at the Historical Christmas Market in Berlin. In addition to baking Berlin Pancakes, Apple Fritters and German Onion Cake, we will show you delicious Stews from the Kettle, Mutzenbraten and Original Hungarian Langos as well as the secret behind the delicious Roasted Almonds. There is also, of course, Mulled Wine, which is a must at any German Christmas Market.
Every Year since 2016, the Historical Christmas Market invites you to immerse yourself in Craft, Culinary and Acrobatic Arts. Let yourself be enchanted and pampered in one of the most extraordinary and unique Christmas Markets in Berlin.

I just discovered this channel and I'm delighted. We lived in West Berlin in the 60's and loved the city. So exciting, but not always for a good reason back then. We saw John Kennedy there. The Berliners loved him and were devastated when he was killed. Later Bobby Kennedy came through our housing area standing in a convertible. Standing next to him was Willie Brandt, the mayor of West Berlin. Lots of great memories.

I particularly love Christmas Market food so I was very interested in this video. But, I have to say this is one of the best videos I have ever seen about anything anywhere! My eyes were glued to this the entire time and I was just very happy except for the fact that I didn't get to eat any of the goodies, LOL! Kleiner tip. Die Zitrone muss gewended in der Presse ausgedruecked liegen. Also, Schnittseite nach unten. Es sieht falsch aus, du bekommst aber mehr Saft raus.

@@moodifoodiberlin Ich bearbeite mit meinen Händen auch keine Lebensmittel. Und sooo teuer sind (Einweg) Handschuhe 🧤 jetzt auch nicht.
@@meickimichael3985 Hab es hier schon oft in Kommentaren unter verschiedenen Videos von uns geschrieben: Ob mit gewaschenen Händen oder Handschuhen ist eine individuelle Entscheidung und keines von beiden ist sicher - es kommt immer auf die Person darauf an. Gerade bei Trägern von Einweghandschuhen hat man durch Stichproben überwiegend festgestellt, dass viel zu selten gewechselt wird (Wecker stellen?) - und zwischendurch andere Gegenstände angefasst werden ohne sich diese dann zu waschen oder eben zu wechseln. Dazu kommt noch die sinnlose Umweltverschmutzung durch unmengen von Einweghandschuhen. Hände waschen zwischen Arbeitsschritten und immer wieder desinfizieren - mehr braucht es nicht. Doch auch da hält sich nicht jeder daran. Ist halt eine Frage der eigenen Philosophie - aber jemanden als unhygienisch zu bezeichnen, der keine Handschuhe trägt ist leider zu einsitig gedacht. Bedenke bitte auch - das ist keine Operation am offenen Herzen die durchgeführt wird, sondern hier wird gekocht, gebacken und gebraten - das überleben keine Bakterien ;) LG

@@UrbanFlavorsHQ to many to mention although living in Germany for many years in the late 60's and early 70's I have tried a few but not in Berlin. they didn't travel as far as Dusseldorf mostly.
Dusseldorf in NRW is a good Spot for German Food. But Berlin is always worth a trip - especially for the great culinary diversity from all over the world, but also the local dishes. Next year we will also be presenting many more German Dishes here on our Channel. Greetings✌️

Also der Hund hat seinen freien Willen und kann jederzeit aus der Kiste hüpfen - was er auch ständig getan hat - aber hey, unter dem Holzofen hatte er den kuscheligsten Platz auf dem ganzen Gelände. :) - Ergänzung: Er ist auch nicht den ganzen Tag dort - und an Verpflegung mangelt es ihm dort nicht - er ist im Paradies ;)
