They couldn’t have picked two better people to play those roles, but I think Alexandra Powers was right up there too. She played that seductive, evil, low class trash women perfectly. Lol. Even little Chrissy actress did her role perfect.
Tbh Patty Duke was one of the best actresses of our time. She went thru hell in her life, she had such a rough road from a child actress to the end . Her pain and turmoil showed thru, she poured herself in everything she did. We will never see that type of actress again. And Martin Sheen has always been stellar. But imo Patty was sorely underrated esp after her struggles with her mental health. Absolutely one of a kind.
Me neither. I liked her in A Killer Among Friends where her daughter who was played by Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell was murdered by her 2 best friends.
The acting in this film was absolutely top notch. Even the supporting cast did a brilliant job and they successfully cast a child actor who didn't make the audience cringe at every scene. Wonderfully emotional telling of a real story and I'm sure the real life family are proud of their loving effort for justice and happy at how the film portrayed them
Props to the child actor for having to work around with an adult man having to scream at her. At her age, I would’ve been so sad and confused on what was even going on around me.

Sadly, there wasn't much justice. Rocky got out early, restarted his life. Kathy "Dusty" only served 4 of the 7 years. She did bounce in and out of jail until her death in 2012. Christy, the daughter grew up to be a bit troubled. She developed a meth addiction, and also bounced in and out of jail. Although her last arrest record was in 2015.
An excellent film! I can't praise Patty Duke enough, she was such a brilliant actress and was wonderful in this film. Great story with a lovely ending. Thanks so much for uploading.

Loved the film part 1 and part 2 so happy that Chris s parents got Justice at the end . And Chris can finally rest in peace. He didn't deserve to be killed. He had amazing parents that loved ,support him and was proud of him also . The fact that there was three adults in that household and they only were depending on a baby’s deceased dads insurance is just pathetic. Talbot is definitely a piece of shit for only referring to the kid as “brat” and “meal ticket”. Even threatening to hit her in the van for doing literally nothing made me want to shoot him.
The succubus physically destroyed their only son and she was going to eventually abandon and destroy his offsping. Thankfully grandmom saw her evil. All of this would not have happened if the son had heeded mom's advice. She foresaw the intent of evil from the very beginning.
Patty is all about justice I love how she told dusty your hell is just beginning it was sad that chris didn't listen to his mother and he was killed by rocky. Dusty ran around with men and didn't care about her self and talbot abused her and drank dusty loved the abuse I hope chrissy has a better life
It breaks my heart to see that poor little baby with tears streaming down her face. The scene where her birth mother left her in the van and went in the house to “Spend Time” with her worthless boyfriend TALBOT is pitiful.

Great movie. Awesome cast. Patty Duke and Martin Sheen have always been 2 of my favorites. The mom was the backbone of the family ,i admire her strength and tenacity. Theres no love like a mothers. The navy and FBI failed her son in the beginning. They made a lot of mistakes and werent thorough with their investigation. The child went thru torture and abuse that she shouldnt have if they had done their jobs correctly .Dusty was just a pure demon that used anybody she came in contact with. I wonder how many years she got in prison. I live in Alabama and i wish these movie script writers wouldnt stereotype all of us the way they do.

My brother and I watched it on TUBI for the first time two days ago and it shocked us , my brother was angry of how evil the mother was and how she treated her husband and daughter, especially the scenes at the beach, Patty's apartment when Rocky appeared, and how she was acting at the bar with a different Marine . WE were in disbelief. We felt for Chrissy and her grandparents throughout the movie . It's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've learned that to be able to get Justice we must be persistent no matter what,how impossible it may seems but if we just keep pushing and honest with our dealings how hurtful it will be and not be afraid of getting it,then surely heaven will hand it to you in due time and divine timing❤😊great actress and actors though👌👌👌

My brother and I watched it on TUBI for the first time two days ago and it shocked us , my brother was angry of how evil the mother was and how she treated her husband and daughter, especially the scenes at the beach, Patty's apartment when Rocky appeared, and how she was acting at the bar with a different Marine . WE were in disbelief. We felt for Chrissy and her grandparents throughout the movie . It's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
