Nas reminds me of my daughter's father. He's narcissistic as well. They paint themselves to be these good guys and fathers for the public/social media, but in private they're the worst and once they're done with their significant others they paint them as crazy. If a man ever speaks ill of or calls ALL his exes crazy, it's him. Not them. Pay attention.
Che R I totally agree with your comment... I go through the exact same thing with both of my kids fathers... My kids are 10 years apart. So I was in one relationship with my high-school sweetheart he was abusive I got out of the relationship. But I still left an open door policy for him to come see his child, never kept him away. But because he was so upset with me she suffered. And he will tell everyone around me family members friends she's keep me away from my daughter. Which was total bullshit! 10 years later meet another guy got together relationship blah blah blah had a son he was great at the beginning of his son's birth. He did everything a dad is supposed to do. Butt when a relationship ended again I still kept the door open for him to come get his son whenever. But when I start dating OMG he stopped his responsibilities. He couldn't deal with the fact that I moved on and again my son suffered. I'm just sick and tired of society blaming the child's mother for the dad not being involved! They always say baby mama drama. Trust and believe it's not always the woman that is causing the drama or is bitter. at the end of the day these kids are suffering. And to put the icing on the cake FYI neither one of them on child support because I did not want to put them in the system. But yet I'm still the bad person yeah right.
How do you know any of this? The man is guilty because of an allegation? I really pray none of y'all have sons, cousins, nephews, brothers, uncles, we know more than likely you wont have a father as you're more than likely a replication of your mother and your dad said fuck that I'm out lol. Any man around you is in danger and I hope you are abandoned to the woods to be "independent" and "a strong woman" on YOUR OWN. #dumbbroads
the amount of people that still defend Bill Cosby (and even R.Kelly) makes me so irate. It’s even more aggravating because I know most people are only defending them because they’re black men. But don’t even think about the black women and girls that they have abused. This community has a bad habit of prioritizing black men over everybody else and I cannot stand it. Our children should come first anyways.
No . They are the ppl who are smart enough to not have their daughter alone with R.Kelly or any grown man .Some ppl actually care for their kids and wouldn’t pimp them out . Then clammed rape when things don’t go the way they wanted . They are the ppl with Common sense . So much common sense that we can see thru the bull shit .
I commend Kelis in her very candid and regal way of handling this. It’s been about 8-9 years, she is now remarried, has another baby and she has just now decided to speak her truth. Up until now she has made it a point to not bad mouth him publicly even when he did an album holding her green wedding dress.
It’s so crazy to me that people would rather assume that multiple women are creating elaborate lies and opening the door for themselves to receive hate from thousands of strangers instead of accepting the fact that their fave might be abusive towards women.
This is no shade to the black community but I don’t understand how they can’t show sympathy towards single moms considering since most of us ,myself included have raised in a one parent home and usually it’s their mothers. Rarely do you ever see a single black father raising their child in their own. But I digress.
Kathryn Dorsey I get that but if have lived and experienced living in one parent home you should know better because a lot of the time the single mothers don’t tell their children the whole until their adults and most of the people who are in shade room are grown people. For example I didn’t how abusive my father towards my mother was until I was in my late teens. And at the end of the day we need to show more sympathy towards on another because no other race is going to give us any.
ThisIsHowIAm You said that my daddy was a hoe my mom tried to work things out with my dad he didn’t want to do the right thing. And my mom became a single mothers taking care of me picking up the pieces he couldn’t do.
The answer to your question may be the same reason why for *some* black men, their mother is the only black woman they can love. And some of them don't even have that feeling for their mom.
Watched the WHOLE interview! honestly one of the realest interview ever! I wasn't surprised about the things she said because i read his first baby mother's book and she spilled TEA lol. I also noticed that The Shade Room didn't even post it but they post everything negative about her! I agree $8,000 isn't enough! especially living in L.A and he's a celebrity kid like come on! I was shook when she said he only been to TWO of his birthdays and he's 8 years old. SAD!
This is why people who getting abused or use to dont come out because people so judgemental. Why they feel the need to defend him because he Nas he is human. Plus, his ex wrote a book about him hitting on her. Who knows the truth, but at the end of the day if people are saying the same thing then truth is somewhere
Thank you for breaking it down about the demographic of where they live. Child support needs to be talked about based off of states & living conditions. LA is different lifestyle than someone living in Utah or Alabama. $8000 isn’t enough in California. And this isn’t “regular” middle class people. This is rich celebrity people. Why do people defend rich people (such as Nas) that he should spend minimal? Thank you for explaining facts! 💖
I believe Kelis. The conversation didn't seem as if she was being spiteful. It felt as if she was getting something off her chest. She wasn't tense, she laughed a majority of the interview at the craziness of it all. It was one of those laughs you let out when you are too tired, in a better place but just need to release. It was like talking to my mom... when we would reminisce about how miserable life was living with my former stepfather. We look back at it in a more healed place, we have moved on. Because of this mental state, we are in now we laugh baffled at the crap that took place like "shit this really happened lmao" ...and it's wild that at one point this was just our normal life where we would accept this misery; unaware that we could have better, deserve better and be where we are today. The memories lmao...wow!
Preaching!!!!!!! I have two daughters 16 & 18 and hell-to-da-naw would I leave my girls alone kelly!!! My 16 yr old wants to be and entertainer. I told her that the entertainment industry is a monster. That you cannot enter into it lightly. You have to be strong in spirit, in mind and morally grounded to be able to handle all that comes along with it. You'll be in a room with people and drugs will be flowing. You have to know when to walk away and when you're in too deep. She will not have my blessings until I know she can handle herself. because the way I'm sat up, my ass would catch a case! Rs... hi all
I swear I love your closet talks! I thought I was the only one who wasn’t feeling as sympathetic towards Emily B. I love Fab’s music, but that man has been mistreating her since she’s been on LHHNY and that’s just from what we saw. What you allow, is what will continue.
Abuse is wrong I really had to fight to protect my family when I was a kid to early 20s from my moms abusive boyfriends. Malibu you are right celebrities use power and money to get away with all kinds of things. VICTIM SHAMEING WRONG !!!! PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL !!!!
Wow, you really made me see it in a different light. When the women first began to come out about Bill Cosby. I was one of those people who questioned, why now. But I realized I too, have some things that happened to me that I’ll most likely go to my grave with being the only one that knows. Thank you for talking about this💚
Thank you for throwing Meek in there, I know people in my everyday life that were clowning him like it was going out of style through the Drake junk, but are now throwing imaginary welcome home parties, smdh.
I am so glad I came across this video today. Not only did I love your video, but I checked out the Kelis interview and it’s something I NEEDED to see. I have always been a fan of hers and that interview made me realize that we shared so many of the same experiences and attitudes about life. 💖 it was so encouraging for what I’m going through right now.
LIVE ISH Like Malibu said..... different lifestyles cost more. If Daddy and momma are famous and are well known.....they can't live in a regular smegular apartment, for $1250 a month. And I dare you to find an apartment anywhere in Cali for $1250.
ARYEliB I watched the video.. it's a fantastic interview..young brothers really need to watch it. It's a great way to be able to learn how to identify the mind of a high level narcissist like kelis.. it's practically a case study.
Indiegirl007 the father is NOT responsible for paying your rent mam... you are grown.. pay your own dam rent... if you can't afford to live in LA cause your music career is flopping, MOVE... if you can't afford that GIVE YOUR SON TO HIS DAD... I'm a single father. I live within my MEANS... MY means... not my kids mom.. that's HER success. Not MINE.. I WILL NEVER put her on cs... cause I'm not shady like most of you bytchez
Thank you for LITERALLY reading my mind. When will people’s blind allegiance, especially within their own ethnic group, be superseded by the accountability of one’s actions?
Yes! ALL THE TRUTH! It’s sad that we don’t stick up for the victims who have absolutely no control over abusive situations. That’s like the mom saying “no don’t tell on my husband” to the daughter that got raped or abused by him because THE MOTHER doesn’t wanna hear about it or talk about it. It’s SAD! I HATE people who defend domestic or any kind of abuse because of the abusers “status”. I’m looking at ALL the Chris Brown “lovers”.
Kathryn Dorsey very true. No mind he’s a great performer and his songs are good. I just don’t like him as a person. I’ve seen people on his page or anyone else’s defending what he did or calling him their “baby Daddy” or husband. And I’m just like you REALLY want someone who is like this???
I just finished watching the interview and it was so honest and empowering. She just wants this whole thing to end. I never was a Kelis fan, I just knew 2 songs but after this interview I fell in love with her personality. She seems like she is in a great place in her life and may GOD bless her with this fight.
I swear u took the words right outta my mouth!! My 1st thought after seeing Kelis open up was Carmen wasn't lying smh. Pill Cosby can go to hell. He's 10000% guilty & I can't stand to watch black ppl defend him when he's never been for us. Great video Malibu 😘
Well said, I adore Kelis and Nas and I could hear my mother talking about my dad (whose a type A Virgo btw) while watching the interview, which was chilling. I wish that they will reconcile their differences in private and in peace!!!! It’s hard to get over a heartbreak and it’s obvious that they are both still healing.
Well said! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I agree with you on all of these topics. These celebrities are not immune from being wrong in their actions. Right is right, & wrong is wrong. If you violate ANYBODY & get caught yo ass need to be in jail. And these celebrities DO walk around knowing their money can buy them a way out & money talks, but yr a pitiful individual if you sacrifice your life, or someone else’s, for money. Sad. I can’t wait for day R Kelly gets his ass locked up, and Harvey Weinstein too! They are bottom feeders that do not need to be a part of society. If you fall under the ☂ you need to be locked up too. I believed Bill Cosby was guilty, I believe Kelis & poor Emily just can’t get out & I hope one day she realizes she deserves better. Their children I am sure have suffered & why would you put yr kids through that? I don’t understand...
EXACTLY, this is why I subbed. You don’t let people’s fame and creations keep you from believing they’re untouchable. The black community really needs to work on it.
Im loving that you're holding to your word about doing more ClosetTime's!! Social logic is making this world so toxic. I hate someone always trying to be seen and heard
THANK YOU for the breakdown on child support and single moms. some of us didn’t plan to be single, but we make it work. we shape a lot of the men out here & we are important. side note: you are stunningly beautiful 👑
I agree 100% with everything you said .especially when it comes to sexual assault. As a victim myself. there was never really a time period to tell your truth .This trial gave them closure for them. I waited years before I spoke up about the things that happened to me as a child . Anybody who has gone through this has tell your truth when you are ready.
Preach my love, under that Kelis interview had the most disgusting comments of people saying that she was lying. Justifying it by saying that the timing was suspect. I'm always baffled by these people who are unable to decipher a public persona from who someone actually is. In this day and age, we are still so blinded by smoke and mirrors. So quick to defend what we don't know.
You had me at that's not enough and the fact that you understood!!! Omg thank you! Yes some ppl splurge with child support but some don't!!!! And kids are expensive!!
I ❤❤❤❤ that jacket!!! Reminds me of Salt n Pepa 😁😍 I totally believed Kelis! I could feel her pain of dealing with an idiot! As for R Kelly I can't listen to his music anymore coz it makes me sick just thinking about who inspired the songs
Nothing but truth spoken in this video. Even the Meek Mills part. I was saying the exact same thing like wasn’t everybody just bashing Meek before he went to jail. Now he’s everybody favorite.
You speak real truth. You're such a deep thinker and I love the way you challenge the norm in favor of what is right over what is acceptable. Keep doing what you're doing.
I'm glad kelis is breaking her silence & no longer letting nas paint her as this bipolar demon that wants all his coin.💯like babygirl keep standing in your truth, it's always the people from the outside looking in that have the most to say. like I always say it's four sides to every story, your side, their side, the truth, & somewhere in between. kelis has no reason to lie on nas especially at this point in both of their careers like who would it benefit?? like wake up people & change your panties, find some common sense lol dollface you forever speaking 1000% facts. i needed this video...
Let me tell ya something, you can’t deny tha truth! And you definitely laid it out plain and to the point. I appreciate and respect you for this. It’s something about a person who lets you know what it is and what you stand for and I love that about you. You keep standing up for the ones who can’t or who are not ready to. You’ve touched me and made me think about who I am, what I want to be and what Is.You’ve made me take a look within and for this I THANK YOU MY FRIEND!🙏🏽
I’m glad you did this you opened my eyes about the whole bill Cosby and Kelis situation because at first I did think she was trying to make him look bad
This was a really good video! It allowed me to recognize my own truth and really analyze some things. You said some good things, and i found solace in the fact that my truth is just that. MY truth. There’s no need to hide it in order to protect somebody else. In the end, expressing it, in boldness or what liberated myself, and liberated others. I know this probably was an alternate effect for this video to have on a viewer lol however, I thank you for making it and always being real/you. It’s inspiring.
I agree with 100% of everything you be saying!People get in their feelings about they favs. I don't care about that if you famous or rich wrong is MF wrong---PERIOD
I absolutely would NOT leave NO CHILD (whether they mine or NOT!) alone with him! I agree with the Kelis situation and it glad that you put it into perspective. As for Bill, the law and he people need to have THE SAME ENERGY for ALL OF THEM, that's my issue with it. It's Bill's turn, but next it should be Harvey's and all the other sick fcks. And you're right, I don't feel bad for Em either, she's choosing that life over her safety so 🤷🏾♀️ good luck to her
I live for these closet talks. Like, you put everything into perspective for me it’s crazy. I’ll be back for my next lecture next week professor doll face 😂😂😂
Your commentary was spot on! Kanye does need help. From the blogs, he’s not sleeping and working non stop is not healthy mentally. I hope he has people around him to recognize that he needs help before he has a mental break. Thanks for sharing
Nas reminds me of my daughter's father. He's narcissistic as well.

How do you know any of this? The man is guilty because of an allegation? Girl I feel you , I am married to one narcissist piece of shit..

Our community is Bass Ackwards! Then they want to blame every problem on Black single mothers and never wonder who didn't marry them?
EVERYTHING IS NOT A RACE ISSUE 🗣🗣🗣 SAY IT A LITTLE LOUDER FOR THE BACK
This video was so good it seriously didn't feel like 20 min 👍🏽. And Helllllll noooo!!!! I would never leave anyone around RKelly
RIGHT, girl you better say it!!!!
I so loved every minute of Kelis’ interview!
Ohh Cabrinarenee she is a gem, always has been! Didn’t realize im still obsessed with her lol
Ohh Cabrinarenee same!!!
Ci Ci me too girl made me love her even more
The people who thumbs down the video are the ones who’d be ok leaving their daughters with R Kelly 🤷🏼♀️💁🏼

$8,000 is not a lot of money I thought sh'e be getting more.
I love Nas, but Kelis doesn’t take me as a woman that will lie . Like I don’t feel like she has a reason to lie about anything .
You went off thanks boo. I really wish people do research on what is a Pipe piper

I wonder when the music industry is gonna come out with the me too movement the stories they would tell...
That 8 thousand thing, is so true. LA eats that up in 1 gulp.
Indiegirl007 a child doesn't cost 8000 dollars a month to raise anywhere in the world. It's CHILD support. Not broke baby mama support

I don't think she is lying either . I like Nas . It still doesn't deflect off of real-life .I like Kelis as well .
Thank you for this video. EVERYTHING you said was legit my MIND into WORDS. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is why I mess so hard with Malibu... on point like a ballerina's toes!!!!!💜....
For a young man........you are a wise man. I applaud and appreciate your candor. You are a breath of fresh air.
I love you & your honesty and unbiased/ intelligent closet talks 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Breath of frigging fresh air !
Beautifully put on the Cosby/R Kelly shit! YESS THANK U FOR SAYING ALL OF THIS!!!
You had me at that's not enough and the fact that you understood!!! Omg thank you! Yes some ppl splurge with child support but some don't!!!! And kids are expensive!!
I am watching you (or doing catch up) most sundays around this time. You are speaking the TRUTH!!!
I am gagging on your jacket.
Aguardina Santos me too! and the coordinating cuffs.
Marie The Alchemist so stylish love it.
I love how real and raw you are thank you for being real cause there is a lot of fake RUclips
By far the best video I have watched. The world needed to hear the honest truth so thank you
I wanna say I apologize for my comments and I truly love you as a human being. You literally started everything
I came across this page and loved it. I will subscribe for sure. Thank you for sharing the truth.
I ❤❤❤❤ that jacket!!! Reminds me of Salt n Pepa 😁😍
I totally believed Kelis! I could feel her pain of dealing with an idiot! As for R Kelly I can't listen to his music anymore coz it makes me sick just thinking about who inspired the songs
Malibu Dollface- You are on POINT with your comments!!! Yes, yes and yes!
I really enjoy your closet talk videos ! You articulate your point so well & I just love your point of views !
We should own our truths when we damn ready to do so! Thank you, your closet talks make me feel empowered
This video was so great! You said everything I have been thinking about Bill Cosby, and R Kelly. We need to stop supporting indecency.
Nothing but truth spoken in this video. Even the Meek Mills part. I was saying the exact same thing like wasn’t everybody just bashing Meek before he went to jail. Now he’s everybody favorite.
I appreciate the way you gather me together when I need it.
loved the Kelis video, thanks for putting the link up. And yes that hair and makeup are both firrrreee
I Jus Love How Real & Honest You Are 💯
Real talk beautiful doll. What you said about LA is so true, I’m born and raised here.
OMG, I was looking at you hearing your voice but didn't realize you so, beautiful gurl get it!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✊🏿✊🏿❤️❤️❤️😂😂🔥🔥🔥
You speak real truth. You're such a deep thinker and I love the way you challenge the norm in favor of what is right over what is acceptable. Keep doing what you're doing.
I love how you tell it like is. Thanks for speaking the truth.
I needed this thank you .... I'll tell my truth when I'm ready
Yesssss you spoke the TRUTH. Right is right and wrong is wrong.
You have a different point of view on everything and that's why I respect you❤
I love, love, love! Your damn closet talks, some real stuff you speak on.
I agree with 100% of everything you be saying!People get in their feelings about they favs. I don't care about that if you famous or rich wrong is MF wrong---PERIOD
Love you! Respect you!
All the BEST from Europ!
All the BEST from Serbia 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸!!!!

Rest....below ⬇️
This gave me a different view, thank you.
And you're right, I don't feel bad for Em either, she's choosing that life over her safety so 🤷🏾♀️ good luck to her
I want to clap for all of your points. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I saw that interview. Amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 love her. She finally spoke her truth.
This is why I love you. You’re REAL. We do t have enough of that in the world. Everybody is brain washed..

Greatest Morning Tea/Coffee ever. Keep giving us more. Love your closet talks.
Thank you for being as real as you are ❤
Your commentary was spot on! Kanye does need help. From the blogs, he’s not sleeping and working non stop is not healthy mentally. I hope he has people around him to recognize that he needs help before he has a mental break. Thanks for sharing
Yes someone finally said what needed to be said
