With all due respect sir, I being an civil engineering student felt that this inspection could have been more accurate if there was some one who had knowledge of civil. The contractor and other officer from departments were'nt able to explain you many things, firstly because their own knowledge is not that strong, secondly you might also not have all the specific knowledge. Unlike other raids or inspection, specially for civil I would suggest that if you will have a expert in civil it will be better. Here i felt that your intentions are right, but the contractor is not completely at fault. And if penalty is to charged the govt department controlling the road work should also be Involved.
They are talking about mishandling of material and timing of digging. It has nothing to do with knowledge about civil engineering, but proper management of materials.
@@RippleReader124 its not that you dig 100 m stretch and then complete stretches in segments. This work is done in long stretches as the contractor was already doing. I am a transportation engineer and i find that they were unnecessarily blaming the contractor to such extent. I strongly support the main comment and would advice to bring experts under such inspections.
@@anshulgangwar8775 can you explain why road is not made in small segments but in large stretches and why there is so much height at the side of road one time my bike tire wasnt able to climb that height as I parked outside the road and when I tried to push the tire on road because of the height it wasn't going above that height
Anuj Jain, don't comment if you don't know anything about DM and their profession. At any audit or raid DM is accompanied by many helpers one of them is videographer who records everything for visual proof on site.

What Mr.Aryan Goel has told, I completely agree with him, An expert civil engineer(IES) should be there to assess each and everything for any Govt project he has signed then it has to go to concerning administrative dept. 4 questions 1. Purpose of construction 2. Estimated cost 3. Materials quality and registered vendor(from whom they have purchased) 4. Date of completion of Work/project 5. Workers involved. these are the main questions whom they have to enquire suppose if you construct any dam, bridge for everything some % to the politicians, engineers, etc. remaining money is used for construction which is just 35 % -40%. this is the scenario of India.

I'm civil engineer... He should talk about this to IES officers, he is not an engineer , he don't hv knowledge about construction! ... He should call IES officer!
I feel issue with engineers and contractors are that they get 15 corupt officers then 1 good officers.... those 15 corupt one will not release any payment so contractors and engineers will find all these illegal way to generate money to pay his workers and stock. But when 1 good one comes then he is screwed.

What Mr.Aryan Goel has told, I completely agree with him, An expert civil engineer(IES) should be there to assess each and everything for any Govt project he has signed then it has to go to concerning administrative dept. 4 questions
1. Purpose of construction
2. Estimated cost
3. Materials quality and registered vendor(from whom they have purchased)
4. Date of completion of Work/project
5. Workers involved.
these are the main questions whom they have to enquire suppose if you construct any dam, bridge for everything some % to the politicians, engineers, etc. remaining money is used for construction which is just 35 % -40%. this is the scenario of India.

I feel issue with engineers and contractors are that they get 15 corupt officers then 1 good officers.... those 15 corupt one will not release any payment so contractors and engineers will find all these illegal way to generate money to pay his workers and stock. But when 1 good one comes then he is screwed.
