Amidst all this, an 85-year-old octogenarian in Tamil Nadu was making waves with her incredible hard work & energy. K Kamalathal makes living out selling idlis in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. What makes her different is the price at which she sells her food - Re 1 - an impossible figure in 2020. Despite hardships, Idli amma, as she is fondly called, continued selling Idlis at this throwaway price all through the lockdown. This is her inspiring story.
