As I have practiced, I have seen very few nurse's held accountable for the way they are notoriously known to mistreat their colleagues. It's one of the few things I dislike about nursing. It demonstrates a lack of professionalism to me.

I hate to admit this, but I purchased all of my books as they told me (first-semester student and over $1,000 spent on books for the entire semester) and your videos are more helpful than my books. I also would like to purchase your study cards!!! My book didn't even explain the scope of practice it just said, "As a RN, you need to know the scopes of practice." So of course on my first quiz, there were questions that went into detail about the scope of practice and even delegations! I failed that quiz because the only thing I knew is what the book told me which was the Nurse Practice Act regulates the scope of nursing. That was it. Thank you again, I am praying to God I make it out of this first semester without failing but so far... it's not going so well and I am grasping at straws to turn it around.

okay so i have 3 months left for 8th grade and yes i’m still young but, i’m really interested in the medical field. However i don’t know if i want to be a traveling nurse or a CRNA.😅 In 9th grade you really don’t have much options for any medical field until 11t/12 grade i think i don’t remember if my councilor told me 10th grade too. So for right my only option was Sports Medicine so now next year i’ll be taking Sports Medicine Honors !!

Do the flashcards apply no matter what book our teacher is using or what our teacher decides to focus on? I just know how limited our time will be & am deathly afraid of not spending my time how I should. Like, should I use this as a secondary study assistance after I've done flashcards for my teacher's PowerPoints & studied the book? I'm willing to go as hard as I need to but just wanted advice on this as I plan to purchase the flashcards regardless.
Hi Sara! The flashcards were all written and referenced using MANY sources, including textbooks and peer reviewed articles to make sure we have the most up to date information possible, and we review the content frequently to keep them up to date! So while there may be some minor differences from a specific textbook, it should be pretty close. We made the backs of the flashcards matte so you can write on them to add anything that might be specific to your textbook or school! We wrote these flashcards with our team of expert nurses and nurse educators (people actively teaching in nursing schools right now!) and tried very hard to make sure to include only what we believe is the most important and testable content so you don’t waste your time studying extra info. We give you the facts with no fluff :) I would recommend using the flash cards and RUclips videos in conjunction with reviewing the material you have from class. Take advantage of the matte backs and write or highlight on them as you need to! There are lots of different ways you can approach studying. I would recommend skimming (not reading in depth!) the chapter the day before class, listening attentively during class and taking notes, and then reviewing with the flash cards and RUclips videos along with reviewing your own notes. It’s also really helpful to turn the videos on while you’re just listening. You can listen while cooking, folding laundry, driving, etc. so you’re constantly being passively exposed to the content, too! And if you want to really test your knowledge, our Nurse Squad card game is the perfect thing to use to review-you learned the content with our flash cards and videos and now you can really put your knowledge to the test before the actual exam using the card game (either alone or with friends!).
