Wow, I never saw this arrangement of a Radiohead track coming! Impressive and unexpected, though their interpretation of the guitar solo in the original may seem a little raw and heavy-handed. But hell, Ben Folds plays raw and heavy-handed at all times, so who am I to be critical? Really glad I found this arrangement.
I am an enormous Radiohead fan and absolutely love your treatment of this piece. It's like you've taken it apart and put it back together again with such a range of emotional dynamics. Pleeese consider doing other Radiohead pieces!
Like all Anderson and Roe touch:respect for the music. The introduction to the second part just before Rain down... is very quiet and beautiful, after the turmoil. The Rain down episode:extremely good building up of the tension, highly emotional.Again a 10.
Amazing. I love Christopher O'Riley's rendition of this, yet that was still the best transcription of Paranoid Android I've ever heard--course you have twice and much piano to work with, but still. Incredible transcription. Incredible performance.
Epic! Sooo good! I love the quieter tinkly part in the middle - sounds a bit like Danny Elfman type music :D Basically you guys are just ultra talented!
Amazing performance yet again! WHY is there always that one person that has to ruin the most beautiful pianissimo phrases with COUGHING! EAT A THROAT LOZENGE! lol
hey greg...long time to chat. hope you are well! i just posted a version of paranoid android and if you have the time, let me know what you think! great version by the way
I'm glad the song inspired you to play it, and I can't possibly say I didn't like your version, but I do have to say one thing: I think you could've taken a lot more liberty with the vocal melodies in the first and last parts of the song - they sound too "flat" and forced if you just play them note-by-note. Heck, even Yorke played around with them in the many live versions. That's pretty much the only thing missing from this beautiful performance!
@TuronLover Its a piece of something. It sounds good but I really would'nt care to watch. Over excentric and dramatized. They need to let it flow, all their stuff sounds forced.
hi all - sorry but I'm one who 'dislikes' this... so, I guess this is probably the best paranoid android cover version - it's hard for me to comment as it's the first i've heard though i am familiar with the original. As with any cover version i suppose there needs to be a point to it over and above me thinking 'hmm now i just wanna go & put my radiohead cd on'. in this case i guess i didn't feel that anything new was added. These 2 great pianists' time is not well spent on a project like this.
pourquoi tapper si fort?? y a-t-il une recherchen, une volonté d'un son si dur?? Ecoutez bien à 3:41, une orde pète!! sisi C'est domage, ça gâche la performance
Whoever thought this was a good idea deserves a slap. Turning the band version into this garbage is ridiculous. Apparently this duo have done similar things with other classic songs and even Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. I wish the bastards would leave well alone.
As far as I know I never heard the "band version," and I don't care if I never do. If I did I'm sure I would hate it, 'cause I don't like rock bands. But this version? WOW! It is amazing. Thank you for expressing your opinion; you have that freedom. Just please be mindfully aware that there is an audience for this type of art....and some of us think it is phenomenal!
omg they did the beep in the begining!! lol
Ridiculously good guys! Love the passion.
08:13 to 08:47 The crescendo still gives me goosebumps! Well done!
This overwhelmingly beautiful. I loved how you used the whole dynamic range of the piano.

Welp, I had chills the whole time while watching. Just too brilliant to be real.
Hands down best piano arrangement of a song I've ever heard
Hermosa interpretación. Los dos pianos jugando a la vez, genial !
saw them last Friday night - freaking awesome. Was looking forward to the Radiohead cover the most but was more blown away by the Tango they did.
Speechless

Wow. Brilliant performance and an excellent recording.
(I just found this through "Radiohead - Paranoid Android: RUclips Artists Mix")
8:53 is just awesome
hermoso
Epic! Sooo good! I love the quieter tinkly part in the middle - sounds a bit like Danny Elfman type music :D Basically you guys are just ultra talented!
5:40 best part of the whole song
woaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
You guys are very talented. But of course ya'll know this!
I guess this is as good as it can get by a piano or two :).
holy shit
@TheDevilWearsPradaa amen to that, brother, amen.
kudos
@ignaciophotography Standing ovation!
amazing version ...thanks!ps any chance to see Butterlies & Hurricanes or Space Dementia by Muse!greetings from italy!
Потрясающее выступление. Великолепная музыка.
@headrockbeats thats true but at the second part i had stronger feeling of chaos here
@UEGGaara It's a thing many musicians do to help them keep the tempo.
@TheDevilWearsPradaa Amen sister!
Why do people think the quite bits of a song are the best bits to cough in?
Amazing performance yet again! WHY is there always that one person that has to ruin the most beautiful pianissimo phrases with COUGHING! EAT A THROAT LOZENGE! lol
amazing
@TheDevilWearsPradaa I dont think anyone needs to die. Such a need would not improve one's life and so is not a need at all.
hey greg...long time to chat. hope you are well! i just posted a version of paranoid android and if you have the time, let me know what you think! great version by the way
During the "You don't remember my name" part, it looks like the pianos are having an argument and yelling at each other.
heee, why are they playing radiohead song on pianos??? geeez it sounds hell good!
You've made a Subscriber out of me!
Silences are when you are supposed to do that
I'm glad the song inspired you to play it, and I can't possibly say I didn't like your version, but I do have to say one thing: I think you could've taken a lot more liberty with the vocal melodies in the first and last parts of the song - they sound too "flat" and forced if you just play them note-by-note. After Brad Mehldau everybody wants to play Paranoid Android on piano……
Hi guys. I would like to know if there is a way I could use your piano cover on a short film. Thanks!
THE HALL WAS NOT FULL.
WAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT WHY?!
Has a lot of Brad mehldau spiciness
is there another modern song that can get so much input from 2 pianos?
bozbontins probably not, rdhd has the superficial spirit
I disagree, whether you liked this version or not you can't say these pianists are technicians, the feeling is right there.
may i ask how much is this piece... ?
marvin?
very interesting who are these fifteen people disliked this video
11 peeps seems to be hella jelouse o.o
I appreciate the interpretation, but I think it is a little too untrue to the real song. The melodies are really out there.
will people STOP COUGHING
@Raiowyn So, it means that you are unmusical :)
@TuronLover Its a piece of something. It sounds good but I really would'nt care to watch. Over excentric and dramatized. They need to let it flow, all their stuff sounds forced.

it took two of you? hah okay..
Brad Mehldau's performance is better
pourquoi tapper si fort?? y a-t-il une recherchen, une volonté d'un son si dur??
Ecoutez bien à 3:41, une orde pète!! sisi
C'est domage, ça gâche la performance
"pourquoi tapper si fort??"
Because they can.
So unmusical, it's nasty.
Ruined Paranoid Android.
It's just noise.
Whoever thought this was a good idea deserves a slap. Turning the band version into this garbage is ridiculous. Apparently this duo have done similar things with other classic songs and even Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. I wish the bastards would leave well alone.
If you don't like it, best not to listen.
You're ridiculous.
The instruments mean nothing (they are vanity) - the 'music' is on a deeper level (try and reach it some day)...
As far as I know I never heard the "band version," and I don't care if I never do. If I did I'm sure I would hate it, 'cause I don't like rock bands. But this version? WOW! It is amazing. Radiohead can speak to my soul. you're just a bunch of technicians and you lost it. Brad Mehldau done it better.ts ts ts dislike
