This duo deserves tremendous credit for not only being very fine performers, but for creating highly creative videos (and arrangements) that set them apart from the vast majority of piano duos. They are smart to know that the regular repertoire for 2 pianos just does not attract much interest (despite it being great music and no less great to listen to than the solo repertoire). This duo is exactly what is needed to succeed as artists in today's world - you can no longer just be a good performer with little interest in satisfying the audience's taste (which worked for Horowitz, Rubinstein, et al). Today, they are the product, and this duo markets itself brilliantly while also being a very enjoyable one.

Amazing statistics: so far 10% of the people who have viewed this video favorited it, 25% "liked it", and a whopping 66% shared it on Facebook - I don't think I've seen stats that impressive for hardly any other video on youtube but I'm glad because I can't think of anyone else who deserves more praise than Anderson & Roe!!

Roe and Anderson are incredible pianists who are not just classically trained but can play pop music using their own arrangement in a fusion style of their own!
I've never really been fond of duo piano works, feeling it a bit redundant, but greg and joy are certainly making me reconsider that conceit. these guys are great!

Sensual, romantic and impeccably performed (a little too loud at times but still musical). Very well coordinated; you're obviously a compatible duo. Very good technique; really virtuosic. Your videos make classical music more attractive and fun and your musical arrangements are interesting, too.

Having heard and seen a few performances since, including the film version with Harry Belafonte, I haven't heard this one before!
And what's interesting in my 'auditive optic' (strange label, no?) is, that whenever an Asian musician 'wrestle' with Western classical music, it tends to be an invention of new 'classical' sound!*
