CRP088 BIG CARP CHALLENGE 1; with Alan Taylor (RIP) and K. Maddocks

Here's a genuine piece of carping history, the opening night of the season as it was back in 1993.
On location with a crowd of first nighters at Duncan Kay's legendary carp water 31 years ago, in Northampton.
It was the most l;ooked forward to night in the Carp angler's diary each year. It's all different now.
There were at least 50,000 Carp anglers out that night around the UK.
Extra famous for two specific scenes... "The bored carp angler".. "Alan's Dream"... again here the purists were up in arms at the lack of reverence.. I even had a complaint letter from a woman who objected to the stockings clip.
This scene is with special thanks as without these two components it would not have been possible.

Hello mate, first of all thanks for all the films. I love m all as they inspired me to go to France. Watched all of them 10 times. What rods was Alan Taylor using on Ton Up? awesome!

I'd never remember that detail on such an old title.. but a fair chance they were KM rods...
