I made ornaments using silhouettes of my grandsons to hang in picture frame ornaments. I took a side picture of children, then removed the background of the picture using my iPad photo editing. You can then adjust the images brightness and contrast to make the image completely dark. I then printed it out and framed them. No cutting or coloring needed so it was very easy. I love your projects.
@ I have really got to get it together and set up a staging area or something in my apartment to take my reveal pics/videos! I keep taking my everyday decor off the wall to hang up or set up my projects! It’s such a mess! Goal for 2025!!😝😝
Love the Silhouette project. My grandmother did this for my cousin, my brother and myself. I miss her so much. She was my best friend. ❤ She went to a professional as well. She also had a bunch of woodland animals like that too.
Thanks! I love the look of the silhouettes too. It’s an optical illusion. 🤣We are mid construction on the bathroom and our daughter’s family moved out so there is stuff everywhere.

I remember when o was in elementary school that we did the silhouette thing for a parent gift! I think it was first grade! I need to do this with some pics of my daughters when they were little!❤❤ I just love this! And oh my goodness the project of the printed picture on that gray wood is BEAUTIFUL! How imaginative!! You give me so much inspiration!

I have 4 grandsons, two from each of my kids. My son's twins, they also decided not to put their pictures on the internet. I remember doing these silhouettes at school with the projector. I've been wanting to make something similar for all four grandbabies.
I have never seen the cursor print. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤬🤬 That would have made me so mad, I don’t even understand why it would have printed like that. Beautiful projects, yet again. I love your unique style, it comes out in your projects. I have a roll of paper that I have had since my oldest son was a small child, he is 33, now, and we used to do his silhouette on that. I can’t believe I still have that roll of paper, I can’t even remember if someone gave it to me, or if I picked it up at a thrift store or yard sale. 😂 I was cleaning out my craft room recently and found it, and the first thing I thought was “silhouettes of my children.”

I showed a gorgeous tablescape in a video last year and then I said “okay now for reality” and showed the other half of the table loaded with crap. 🤣
