    Beautiful design, and excellent instructions!
    I also *really* appreciate that you kept a photo of the completed loop in the corner of the video the whole time, it really helps!

      Thank you! Having watched some tutorials before now and found myself completely lost, I really wanted to include the pic to help viewers navigate through the tutorial - or at least see the 'light at the end of the tunnel'! I'm glad you find it useful!

    I'm from the U.S.; therefore, metrically challenged. Thank you for including the gauge equivalents in the list of supplies. Your designs are beautiful!

    I loved it. And the colors too! It takes me a full 12-14 inches to try this one. I need another hand. 😊

    This is so lovely! Please tell us if Dead Soft or Half Hard wire was used in both 18 Gauge and 26 Gauge? Looks like Round wire too? Its a good ideal that you showed the finished design top left corner of screen during the process, for referral.
    Loved this necklace! So easy to make. Incredible that you made everything by hand, so creative!

    I had a heck of a time trying to do this with 18 gauge deadsoft wire. So I tried it with 20 gauge wire and it was a little easier to do. I love this technique and just wanted to say thank you for sharing!

      Sorry to hear that. I haven't had those problems, but I know how frustrating it is when jewellery-making turns into a struggle! I'm glad you found a solution though, and hope you enjoy the piece!

    I ended up annealing the piece in order to get the left hand wires through to the right. It worked out pretty good for me! Thank you so much for your tutorials - I love them!!!

    Thank you for such a great tutorial. It was so easy to follow along with you. I watched the tutorial once then got my tools and materials together and followed along pausing as needed. My first came out ok but am getting better with each one and am now adding little touches to make it mine.
    Thanks again for a great tutorial

    This is the first time I tried this, and I have to tell you, you make it look so easy! You do a great job, and you also are easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world! I have one question. How the heck do you keep the three wires close together? thanks again!!! I wish I could post a picture so you could see my first attempt. :)

    Beautiful! Probably not a project for a newbie, esp. a newbie with arthritis in my hands. Still appreciate the tutorial. I could probably make this knot with leather cording, a much softer material. TFS!

    • @LilyTree
      @LilyTree  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks Michelle! This knot isn't too difficult, but the wire can take some 'persuasion'! I'd definitely start with the savoy knot and see how you go with that first. As before, moving down to 0.8mm wire will make it a bit easier, as will making the knot a bit larger, but yes, it would look great in cord!

    Love this design, but instead of just plain jump rings between sections how about small coils with loops each end? Simple to do and adds another interesting wire element!

    • @LilyTree

      Brilliant idea Linda! One of the things I love about the Celtic Knot is the options for the chain and the elements you can add into it.

    Would be helpful if you give the GAUGE wire, instead of MM's only. Also, is it soft, half-hard, or hard wire?

    • @LilyTree
      @LilyTree  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback. I'll try and add that in where I can, but I do have a conversion chart available at www.createwithcopper.co.uk/single-post/2016/09/14/Wire-basics . None of my wire suppliers state the hardness, but I would say it comes soft, which is ideal for this particular piece.

      Hi Ann, I printed this one out and taped it the side of my computer screen. It helps me a ton! And all the tutorials I've done, they use dead soft copper wire.

    What gauge is the wire?

    • @LilyTree
      @LilyTree  7 лет назад

      Hi Annette, I used 18 gauge for the knot - although you could use 19 or 20 gauge. And the wire for the chain is 26 gauge, but I chose that to go through the beads, so you could adjust it depending on the beads you use and their hole size.
